The family laughed in harmony after the young boy made a silly joke. Completely oblivious to what was past their five senses. Atsuma hated that some times. "Come on..." He growled positioning his single usable arm in an offensive position. Using his zanpakuto would only lead to uneeded damage to the area. Just as he was about to sprint towards the hollows a feminine voice called for his attention. "What the?" He mumbled turning to face the violet haired girl. Another young girl who was spiritually aware, but something made her feel different than the Fullbring girl. Something more dark and sinister if only slight. "Get out of here. This isn't a place for kids." Atsuma stated turning his attention back to the hollows. If only a little too late however. A rather quick hollow had made it's way to Atsuma before he could even react. "Tsc..." Atsuma scowled preparing for the blow he would recieve.

Atsuma was utterly shocked at the girl's skill. Not that he showed it. The way she moved herself contradicted what Atsuma could tell from her personality. Thanking the girl wasn't something he was comfortable in doing. "Hmph." He replied noticing it annoyed her. "You're not to bad for a kid." He mumbled looking down at her for a brief moment. The hollows were becoming truly restless. Two had fallen already to two complete strangers that just happened to be there. "Soul Reaper?" He asked touching his left arm. Memories of his Dog Days flooded back into his mind. "I'm far from it..." With that said, Atsuma ran towards the hollows expecting the girl to back him up.

Atsuma unsheathed his massive zanpakuto and stuck it to the ground. It wasn't needed and would only slow him down. "Hey bub." Atsuma growled jumping in the air to kick a hollow across it's mask. The kick blasted the creature away as well as destroying it's mask completely. The thing about Atsuma was that everything he did revolved around brute strength. It was his ace in the hole, trumph card. Kido and special abilities were unneccesary as long as he had strength.

A hollow swiftly punched Atsuma across the face once he landed from the aerial kick. As his head moved away after the punch made contact, Atsuma grabbed the hollow's arm and pulled it towards himself. "Sui!" The headbutt Atsuma delivered created a wave of physical pressure before the mask turned to dust. "You ok kid?" Atsuma asked dodging another hollow attack amidst the hollow group.

Atsuma never noticed the Arrancar features of the girl. In combat Atsuma usually lost his train of thought and recklessly attacked anything in sight. However if he had noticed he wouldn't have done anything agrresive towards the girl. So far she was friendly. "When you're a thousand years old-" Atsuma grabbed the head of a hollow and slammed it against the ground causing a decent tremor in the park. The famy from before became nervous and left in a hurry. "You get to call most people kid." Atsuma said getting back up.

Looking around, Atsuma tried to find any remaining hollows ready to battle, but the two had done a pretty good job. As he walked back to his Zanpakuto, Atsuma couldn't resist, but to ask who the impressive girl was. "You're not a Soul Reaper either or else you'd be in trouble for not purifying hollows so who are you?" Atsuma asked sheathing his sword. His gaze was hidden behind his dark shades, but they were clear. He was worried, but not for his own safety. He was worried that she wasn't truly on his side.

Gramps huh? Atsuma thought to himself. It was true that he was old, but damn it stung him in a place he never even knew existed. "Hmph..." His eyes followed her fightying style attently. She must have been the most graceful fighter that he'd ever seen. The lack of fear whatsoever was frightening.

Atsuma listened to Megumi explain who she was although it wasn't a very good answer. He didn't honestly care for her name as much as why she could do the things she did. Atsuma felt slightly annoyed at her attempt to divert the subject back to him. She isn't a Shinigami. Bears no Quincy emblems. I've never seen her at the warehouse either... His attention returned to Megumi once she asked him her very own question. He didn't verbally confirm her assumption, but nodded his head slightly. Almost like he was telling a secret. "Half Shinigami...Half hollow." Atsuma's head tilted up towards the sun. It was as bright as the fire created by the collapsing building in the Shop District. "You still haven't truly told me who you are." He looked down at the girl from behind his shades and asked. "What are you?"

Megumi's laughter was very pleasing even if it was at Atsuma's expense. It had been so long since anyone laughed because of him. All that time trapped in the Vizard Warehouse. As Megumi walked around trying to find the right words to explain who she was, a smile slowly began to grow on Atsuma's lips. It quickly vanished the moment an unneccesary forced made its' presence clear in the park. Atsuma knew very well who it belonged too. A character with a more than questionable personality and attitude. There was absolutely no need to exhert so much Reiatsu that Megumi would lose her balance. Atsuma's physical strength and Reiatsu allowed him to stand normally.

He helped Megumi regain her balance feeling somewhat ashamed of the fact that the figure was his leader. "Friend..." Atsuma sighed shifting his shades. "Collegue is more like it." Atsuma stated stepping in front of Megumi. There was something telling Atsuma not to let Aerik near her. The senile comment hadn't humored Atsuma by the least. "Aerik, you must know by now my short temper." Atsuma said ignoring the fact that Megumi was an Arrancar and simoltaneously warning the leader. At that point she was more pleasant to be around than him. "And don't tell me what I am. You know as much about our powers as I do. Understand?" Atsuma asked imitating Aerik's condescending tone. His eyes glared at thd Leader's with a mix of indifference and slight irritation. "Cover your energy. There is no need for this exhibition. Humans have the right for a day at the park."
