[Entering]

He'd dealing with things mostly within himself keeping away from others not really participating in things probably as he should but perhaps there were reasons why he did these things. Hung back and only did part of the work. His motivation for life was at best - simply to stay alive. The true motivation for his status was.

...Literally buried.

Jude wandered forward in a numb sort of fashion. He'd started to get to where he'd smile for others or even joke around with some of them but it always felt empty, alone. He didn't even realize he'd entered a lab until he paused in front of where the subject was located being sad...

His expression didn't change from the neutral position, "Giving up already?" Surprisingly there was no mockery in his tone.

Mitsu's eyes were looking beyond the wall to where freedom was, pondering and planning though nothing was really making sense. Playing ball was merely an idle muscle reflex, rolling the object in her hand away from her only to have Meela bring it back.

It wasn't until she heard the new voice that her gaze seemed to focus back on the room itself, turning to look at the Hunter beyond the glass wall.

"Not giving up," She mumbled looking away, grabbing for the mask that had ended up on the floor. "Just...stuck. What do you want anyway?" Though her face held no emotion at the moment her voice was hot with anger.

He cocked his head a bit toward the side his arms folded over his chest as he watched her. In any other setting he might have confused her for a girl lost from some sort of anime convention or something similar to it. Jude uttered a small thoughtful sound, "Why am I here? I wonder." He said thoughtfully as he meandered about the space where he was free to come and go as he pleased - unlike her. Perhaps it was just idle pacing or maybe mocking her slightly.

Maybe he was just restless.

"I was just curious I guess. Wanted to see if you were a big scary beast but as it stands right now," he stared at her for a long moment, "I see why you were easily caught and brought here."

He was looking forward to actually being scared of one of these ...things. As of yet none of them truly impressed him.

Mitsu began to fidget with the mask in her lap, her eyes looking up when she spotted obsessive movement. She couldn't help but watch his pacing. One would think he was the one trapped looking for a way free.

"Scary beast?" He was mocking her, telling her she wasn't scary. She gripped the mask, a gesture that would have broken it had her strength not been diminished like it was. On top of considering her less than scary he was calling her weak as well. It made her blood boil, her hatred grew but somewhere deep inside her mind her brain was working. Maybe...just maybe she could use this to her advantage?

"There is a reason I have this." Mitsu poked at the collar around her neck that was keeping her from transforming. "Why not come in here and remove it. I'll show you what I truly look like....unless you really are scared." She tried to give him a small mocking smile but it faded quickly.

"Mm, yeah but you seem like the type of person that'd snap in half as soon as someone raises their voice," He said pausing and glancing at her. Yeah. She seemed like the type to demurely bow their head and apologize repeatedly for something she may or may not have done with tail tucked firmly between her legs.

Then he stared at her for a long moment when she made her suggestion that sort of blank stare before his face broke into a grin, "Oh yes," he said almost sounding chipper, "and then maybe we could have a hug party before you run off. That'd be real nice wouldn't it? Especially since you seem to think that I have 'IDIOT' written across my forehead in bright neon letters."

No, Mitsu, he wasn't going to fall for something that blatant.

"What you think of me or whether or not I am 'brave' enough to come near you doesn't matter," He replied as he tilted to face her and rocked back on his heels, "what matters is that we have you now. Even if you somehow get away that memory will stick to you forever. You got caught. You were helpless."

"You were ours for a time," he smiled almost sweetly. He tilted his head, "But you won't have to worry about that since you're not going anywhere."

Mitsu's eyes narrowed, the fur on her tail bristling. It looked like his words had rubbed her the wrong way for a moment but suddenly she wilted looking to the mask in her lap before looking to her bruised and battered legs. "I...can't really go much of anywhere." She admitted trying to sound pitiful. The whipped puppy routine worked on Shun maybe it would work on this guy? She also didn't want to tell him hugging was an option she would take if she had her full strength. Mitsu didn't like the idea of hurting people but she would do what she had to to leave, even if it meant crushing someone in a bear hug.

It was hard to keep her composure, especially how this guy kept grating at her nerves. Yes, they had her! She understood that. Now all they wanted to do was rub it in her face. She could feel that small part of her mind cracking, her generally calm and sweet nature dissolving. Maybe because what he was saying was true. At the moment she was helpless, alone, and very much scared. She had no idea what was going to happen to her or if she was going to see anyone again.

When Meela dropped the ball in Mitsu's hand the lycan gripped it tightly, though without her strength the ball actually posed to be rather firm and unyielding. "I don't want to be here...I just want to go home.." Mitsu said honestly, her voice now soft as she whispered.

He eyed her for a long moment even studied her status physically before he just shrugged uttering a simple, "That is a shame," and then moved to settle in a crouch for now. Really? He could stay here all day. Stare at her. Poke her emotional wounds. Make her feel more misery than he was.

Make her squirm.

His fingertips wiggled a bit against his kneecaps where they were resting as he crouched, "Very few do want to be here," he didn't specify hunter or captured student, "but here we all are, hm?" He was watching her carefully now instead of egging her on.

She knew her place and really he was supposed to behave. This wasn't his prisoner.

"If you go home and then what? Tattle on everyone? That's pretty ********' brave, ain't it?" His tone held mockery, "way easier to cower behind others, right?"

And before Jude would know what was happening he would see Mitsu's face contort in anger and a tennis ball flying through the air toward the window. Thankfully the glass was thick, the ball simply bounced off with a loud dull thud.

"Brave like you to sit behind a wall of glass!" Mitsu barked. Meela didn't seem to mind whatever was going on, she simply moved after the ball when it bounced away and chased it around the room.

Mitsu's eye seemed to twitch, something inside her chipping away. She moved to sit on her knees, her legs unwilling to let her stand. "You want to know what I would do? Find a way to get back here, so that I can personally thank you by tearing your throat out." Man, she had been around Shun way too long. "It's not like you feeble creatures are that hard to kill."

He laughed a bit at her retort as well as her display of anger, "Trust me if it wasn't for a few obstacles I'd go in and show you just how much fun we could really be having but," he shrugged, "the obstacles come in shape of orders that I can't really ignore."

Jude almost seemed disappointed. Almost.

When the threat came he pulled down the cowl enough to expose his throat, "Sweetheart, if you can make it to me you are more than welcome to come tear away, that is if you escape and then stupid enough to come back after that," he then just let the cowl sit loosely taunting her with the easy target.

"Well aren't you the good little boil. Following orders." Mitsu wanted nothing more than to rise and rushed to the window and beat her way through it to get to this Hunter. She had never felt anger like this before, never felt such a need to kill. Maybe it was because she was tired, injured, hungry, and very much a cornered animal. Or maybe it was just because Jude brought out the best in people. Who was to say.

"Don't think for a moment you're out of the woods." Mitsu tried to smile as she forced herself to rise. "I'm not dead yet and I won't stop until I am. One way or another I'll-" She had started to take a step and winced instantly going back to the floor in a heap. The pain was really starting to catch up with her not to mention the fear suppressants were only making it worse. Her body began to shake as she pushed her torso back up off the floor resting on her elbows as she tried to regain at least a little bit of composure. "Huff puff..." She cursed.

"Thanks, I often felt I made a better puppet than a leader," he said simply with a shrug. Though sometimes he wanted to be the one that pulled the strings he honestly didn't feel he wanted that kind of responsibility. If thrust upon him certainly he would perform his duties but beyond that...No thank you.

As she tried to intimidate him his eyes actually went wide and his mouth agape as if he was truly terrified for a moment and then suddenly he uttered a sharp simple laugh which only grew as she fell, "Oooh, huff and puff and blow my house down, is that what you're gonna do, girlie?" he snorted a bit as he moved to stand up straight now.

"It doesn't matter either way. Even if you got out ... You would need to wait in line because more than a few of you want to chew their way through our necks for some sort of need to satisfy their vengeance. My dance card seems to be full," he said putting a hand to his cheek and letting out a soft sigh as if he was trying to decide who he wanted to 'dance' with most out of all of the potential partners.

Soft sound of tongue clicking against the roof of his mouth, "I think I've tired you out enough, Sparky. I am sure we'll see each other soon."

She couldn't bring herself to look at the Hunter again, cursing herself for making his words true. It wasn't hard to see, she was weak. Weak and stupid, otherwise why would she be here? At least no one else had been captured, she didn't have to add a guilty conscious on top of self doubt she felt growing.

"I really do hate you.." Mitsu muttered as she pushed herself into a sitting position. She relied heavily on her hands and arms to hold her up when all she wanted to do was lay down. "Just go away.."

He paused for a moment as he made his way out her words of hate not really hitting any notes within him but not exactly filling him with warm fuzzies either. His fingertips reached to touch the doorframe tracing a bit of an idle circle against it as he stared back at her with a small smile, "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn," it was a quote that he knew well, it was a line that had been parodied over and over as he grew up, he knew he probably screwed it up but then look at all the ******** he gives. None for her.

None for the sad pale creature behind the barricades of glass and wall.

Just none ever.

Jude waggled his fingers at her, "Have fun with what remains of your time, Pet," he said simply and then left.

Mitsu was glad to see the Hunter go, staying on the floor for a long time. Candace had come in and the lycan remained where she was even after she left to put Meela back in her tank for the day.

Once again Mitsu found her cell to be lonely, there was nothing to distract her, no friends, no family, just memories of how she had been so stupid to have landed herself here. How had she not seen this coming? Mitsu realized now she was far too trusting but was it right to discredit every new student? Every stranger?

She was still worried about Shun as well. Was he alright? Was he healing? The reaper was often reckless so she hoped Hel and the others were watching out for him. Coming to get her, while it made her feel hopeful, probably wasn't the best plan. It was dangerous to be here and she didn't want her friends in the same situation as herself.

There was really no way for Mitsu to count the passing hours, especially with how lost in thought she was. Here and there she would drift into sleep her body struggling to keep going with the lack of FEAR and still needing to heal. When she woke she was disoriented and lost but as the room settled back around her so did that sinking feeling. She was still here, in this room, in this place. It wasn't a dream.

The feeling of helplessness was almost more crippling than the lack of FEAR. What that other Hunter had said was true. She was weak, there was nothing about her that was scary, nothing about her that was formidable. Her hand fidgeting with the collar again she realized she was no different than a bird in a cage with its wings clipped.

"Shun...." It was the only name that brought her comfort, closing her eyes to try and picture the reaper. She wanted to see him so badly, for him to hold her and tell her everything was going to be okay. Idly her hands slipped from her collar to grab the orchid pendant that sat at her chest. "I miss you..."

Candace liked having a routine. She enjoyed order and structure far more than she would ever like chaos and disorder. Wake up around five, breakfast, morning workouts. Get Meela from the minipet labs, walk her to containment cell B, ward off an attack from Mitsu, give her Meela and leave. Come back in an hour, remind her what will happen if Meela isn't returned, return said minipet and come back to test how cooperative Mitsu was for the day. It was a fun dance they had coordinated over the past few days and in a way it almost exceed Candace to have such an amusing little partner. If she could get her to agree to weaponization she would undoubtedly be an interesting partner to some lucky future hunter. She had a spark, that little bit of spunk that reminded Candace this would all be worth it in the end, that really just watching her and studying her every move was as beneficial to Candace as it would be to every hunter later. Mitsu had no idea just how helpful her struggles really were. The more she squirmed, the more she fought, the better. She didn't want Mitsu to lose that fire in her.

Candace had been watching Mitsu for almost an hour now when she noticed something; whenever Mitsu would feel anxious she would toy with her necklace...

She pressed the button for the microphone. "That's a very lovely necklace you have, Mitsu." Candace kept her voice as gentle and conversational as usual. She had heard about the chat Mitsu had had with Jude. As much as Candace wanted to hurt him for potentially ******** up everything, Candace was also finding that she could just win her over by being nicer than that.
