Seth told Aspen as he thought about how to answer the second question she asked. "I can manage it well enough, but it is far from perfect. Why?" He asked after he answered her question.

Aspen tapped her temple beside the soaked bandage on her brow. "Not squeamish, are you? I was working on a treehouse with my dad when everyone disappeared. Got hit in the head with the plank I was helping him put on a branch. Knocked me out. Head wounds bleed a lot, and this one hasn't stopped since I woke up. I'm pretty sure I need stitches, and I'm close to passing out from blood loss. I can sew, but it's pretty hard to sew up a head wound when it's your own head." As she spoke, a trickle of diluted blood ran down the side of her face.

((Quoting is a good way to get quicker replies.)) Seth grabbed a table cloth off a table and balled it up he pressed it to her wound as the blood start to trickle some. "Hold that for a few moments while I grab something." He told her as he turned to grab his supplies.

((True.)) Aspen kept the tablecloth pressed to her brow, chuckling. "I've got a first aid kit in my truck's cab if you need anything. There's needle and thread in the kit, and some gauze and medical tape, too. I stopped off at the clinic before coming here," she said.

Seth stopped and turned around and said "That's probably better than the fishing wire I have. I will be back in a moment or two." He moved and went out back into the rain and rushed to her tuck and grabbed the first aid kit and headed back inside, shaking off some water as he entered the building. The rain was really starting to pour down now.

Seth knelt down next to the chair and rose and eyebrow to what see said, he really didn't understand what she was talking about. "Alright, I suppose it's time I try to patch up your head." He said as he opened the first aid kit and picked up what he would be needing.

Aspen chuckled again. "Fish rain. It's when the winds are strong enough from the ocean that they pick up fish and kelp along with sea water and drop them places along the coast or even halfway across the country." She leaned back against the back of the chair, starting to feel dizzy from the amount of blood she'd lost, and pulled off the bandage on her forehead so Seth could get to the wound and stitch it up.

"Ah. Okay. Hold still this might hurt some." Seth said as he slowly and carefully cleaned the wound. He chose a needle and slowly started on the stitches, it would take him a minute or so do finish them. He was moving carefully and slowly.

"Tch." Aspen closed her eyes, wincing a bit as the needle went in for the first stitch. But she stayed still as Seth sewed up the gash. After he tied off the last one, she took a couple gauze pads and some thin medical tape and re-bandaged her head. "Thanks. I'll be able to take them out myself when the cut's healed up."
