Malodore's first thought was Luce was right - but there was no time, not now. It had to protect itself, and the others by extension. If Luce had refused, did that mean all those around it were also transformed students? It was a theory, but...

Awkwardly, Malodore waited for the tail to swing within range before delivering such a peck. Yes.

Naturally, big things were meant to be responded to with biting and anger.

That's what the school seemed to have taught them, anyways. So like Cass, Shehk also made a point to start biting. She was a good dog like that, after all. Gnaw gnaw gnaw gnaw.

And so the kushi-kushi found herself in an area with what looked like a giant bird dragon, likely a boss of some sort since everyone was attacking it in one way or another. Her body felt good, she was happy enough as it was to keep going, and Ofelia cracked her little paws together as she debated her plan of attack.

Which....wasn't really a plan at all, she just ran forward as fast as she could and smashed into the monster. It did a little bit of damage (she was rather proud of that) and quickly she shuffled herself backward to get away just in case it tried to attack again. There was nothing else she could do really, this would be amazing and everything would be alright in the end because ADVENTURE. No one important died on an adventure.

Harrison refastened B0nez to his neck. It was the equivalent of strapping a bomb there, but it was only temporary.

We aren't partners. You're a weapon. I'm using you, and after this, you're gone.

B0nez just laughed, which Harrison found eerie.

He eyed the giant, shadowy dragon, and the minipets attacking it, and slunk backwards, huddling unhappily. Every now and again, sparks jumped across his back.

Roch had no jackin' idea where they were--but that wasn't new. All he knew was that there was a large dragon attacking, and he jackin' well was going to protect Amphi this time. So the treat got up--and attacked.

Following the others with Shun still dangling from her mouth, Mitsu found herself someplace new but she wasn't sure it was any safer. Far from it when her eyes zeroed in on the dragon who posed as a threat. It seemed he was ready for a fight but Mitsu wasn't sure she was in her current state.

That didn't keep her from lashing out though trying to keep Shun clear of danger while she attacked and retreated, finally setting the pixie daeva down to look him over. "Are you alright?"

"Senga."

Shaheen's voice was at first a welcome sound above the chaos, but the genderswapped mini's ears soon folded at the cold tone she was using now. Flattening himself down onto the ground, Senga peered up at the Vaisel, afraid he'd somehow messed up. Again. It was not at all a tone he ever wanted directed at him; especially when earlier the War Chieftain had seemed so comfortable with him around.

"Shaheen?" His tone was high-pitched and, unlike his usual lower tone, filtered with a smooth and young sounding voice, "are you alright?" Did I do something wrong?

The minipets attention was soon diverted by the feel of eyes on him, and his tail curled in Soren's direction, head tilting afterwards. He blinked, large gold eyes a shade too curious for his own good. Something seemed familiar about whoever was looking at his way, and he shook himself out lightly, the trinkets in his antlers clinking gently together.

"Hello?" It was a flighty, feminine trill. God it was so annoying.

But hell, it wasn't like anything could get any stranger than being turned into a mini, and then turned into a girl.

... Right?

The voice that issued forth from the fluffy forms mouth was...odd. And incredibly feminine. If Shaheen had been feeling more like herself, she probably would have laughed, and regarded the young executioner with amusement. As it was, however, the sound only grated on her, and she flicked her tail in annoyance.

"I'm perfectly fine." Her voice was flat, her eyes narrowed. Indeed, she never felt better, her head feeling much clearer then it ever had before, her instincts screaming at her to stay away from him, because he was a betrayer, just like all of the rest.

Her attention was momentarily caught by whatever it was Senga had turned her head to look at. Was she using some kind of ploy to distract Shaheen with before striking her down? The chieftain was having none of that, and would keep a close eye on her. But she was calling out to someone, and Shaheen's eyes flicked back and forth, from Senga to the one she was hailing. Who was it? Another enemy? Another betrayer? Shaheen was soon tensed up, her fur bristling.

"Do not call out to it. It's a trap." The words were out of her mouth before she knew what she was saying, followed just as quickly by.

"Senga, what in the seven hells is wrong with your voice?" The question was a growl...or at least, as close to a growl as she could manage. Really it was probably more like a deep, grumbling purr.
