"So it will be an adventure then, hopefully you get to enjoy some of it." Teilil grinned and glanced at the target. "Do you always pick up things so quickly?" It was an actual question, but meant as a compliment as well. He went to retrieve the arrows from the target pulling them as carefully so the heads did not get damaged. Once they had been inspected for damage he walked back to Akakios and slid them into the quiver again. "I'm going to make a bow for you, would you feel comfortable with one like this or something shorter?"

 Well, did he ? It made him pause to ponder this. "Well, I had read about it before..." He always seemed to at least retain some of what he was transcribing - doubly so if he actually found it interesting.
And, well, he had never tried to compare his learning speed with anyone else.
"This seems pretty good to me." He answered Tei's question with a nod. "I think it would be a little strange if it was shorter."
And well, he could shift to be taller or shorter if he needed. It was nice enough for the elf to be making him a bow to begin with.

"Alright, I have to go look for wood to work with. You should keep practicing. I will be back before too long." This way Teilil could start working on Lament's bow while he practiced. Later he would ask Tempest about conjuring some leather for him so he could make a quiver, bracers and properly wrap a grip on the bow. Then Akakios would at least be a bit more prepared when he left and would probably feel a bit better about going someplace new.

"Alright." He nodded, watching the man go before he would start to practice once more, only stopping to retrieve the arrows in a similar way that Tei had done.
The shots were indeed much more precise - there where still a few misses, but most arrow ended up at least on the tree - if not quite on target.
