So, I don't have the book open right now, but in the dresden files rpg guide, isn't 30 skill points reserved for like... Stupidly high level character creation? Not that I have a problem with starting higher up on the badass ladder, I'm just worried about where to go from there. With the top as such a close goal post, I'm worried I'll reach the end before I'm done developing my character. I like power as much as the next munchkin, but I don't want a game that only lasts for a single round.

I think it's knee deep or waist high or something. It's closer to mid level I think.

We played with 30 when we were creating characters for Weird Baltimore, and I felt like that was just where we should be, power wise. Less than that and you start a little too weak, in my opinion.

Quite a powerful campeign. Just make skill points something hard to obtain, and we should have a long lived and balanced guild. :3 with luck

So I have been waiting to see Pad fill this out before I did it, but I guess I will just ask.
In the Describe your first adventure part I see the guest starring, essentially forcing people to pick a person as an aspect.
Now given my characters history, this won't actually be his first adventure under this category, but maybe more like his first mission to Earthrealm or something.
Is it acceptable to say that it guest starred an item rather than a person?
Also, I noticed Pad did it, but I don't want to assume. Our sealed zanpakuto can be any weapon that he want right?
And as far as weapons go. Katar would be under fist right? Seeing as they are punching daggers.

The reason I haven't filled it out is because it's supposed to be a sort of account of your first mission in the RP in your characters eyes. As it's a big point in your character's story and all that. That's why 'Guest Starring' works. It'd be impossible to force everyone to have pre-existing relations. You could still Guest Star an item though. As for the Zanpakto. Yeah that's true. Arrancar have always been able to do it and it's a good point from which to modify your character to your own tastes. For example I like polearm weapons far too much for my own good. And yeah put Katar under fist. It's about the closest thing. They're not really cutting weapons as far as I can tell.

So just to be clear when picking skills the only skills I can choose from are the list you guys provided right? I don't particularly have any other ideas in mind but once I begin creating my character ideas always seem to rush into my head for some reason.

I don't particularly have any other ideas in mind but once I begin creating my character ideas always seem to rush into my head for some reason. If you've got ideas for skills we'll see if we can implement them if they're meaningfully different. Obviously if you can find categories we've completely overlooked (I'd actually say I've found one but it's debatable) or which we can't put into another category then we've got to find a way of displaying it. As is we'll work with what we've got. Drop me a PM if you find anything though.

Angel of Death112 I have a question. I'v been working with my RPC for a very long time and he's gotten quite good. Can I keep him or do I have to make a new RPC? Yes you can keep his character, name, personality and such. You can keep the essentials that make your character your character. However keep in mind the RP is set possibly thousands of years into the future of our old timeline. Your character would be the same but a different incarnation. Thus now is the time to make changes to your character if you had any in mind. However you're going to have to do a reboot in terms of abilities unlocked to him. So for example if you have any extra learnt Kido not from 1-20 or you have Shikai we'll have to restart you there.
