"Okay. Now this is just bull." Takeshi stared in disbelief as the metallic shell melted off, killing hundreds of the shinigami trying to flee. "It's pretty obvious that whoever this guy is, he doesn't care about morality much..." As if to prove his point, the strange shinigami came down and cut someone. Then, he reached into the person's wound and pulled something out. Once again, he just stared in disbelief. This time, because the shinigami ate what he ripped out. "So...how are we supposed to take this thing down?" He looked around at the few people that were still holding their ground. There was him, a guy that was sleeping just a few seconds ago, and someone setting up some blast shells.
"Wait, what?" He had to double-take when he saw the man with the explosives. "Well, I guess that's one way to take out a rogue shinigami." Takeshi was glad that the mine field was being set up...until he noticed something. "Well, ********. There needs to be someone that distracts the guy while the mine field is being completed, huh?" The question was mostly to himself, but he said it loud enough so that anyone next to him could hear. Unfortunately, no one did. Which left the task of distraction up to the wimpy reconnaissance guy. "I should have known. Almost all of the other shinigami are too busy running away."
"Now, how can I do this without making my innards become 'outards'?" Since he was a completely recon-focused guy, there was no way that he could go battle the strange shinigami head-to-head. So he started devising a plan to distract the man, while not endangering himself. To start, he went over to the large groups of shinigami that were trying to flee. Luckily for him, they weren't getting anywhere. "Alright, now that I'm sufficiently 'camouflaged', I should be able to distract him with...stuff. And if he begins to approach this mob, I can just jump into the next. Shouldn't be too hard, right?" He laughed nervously at the thought, but hardened up once he got into the crowds. "Hey, people. That guy over there is setting up a minefield to take down the rogue. What I need you guys to do, is to pretend like you're trying to flee, but not actually go anywhere. Yeah I know it sounds crazy, but we need to distract that rogue long enough for him to finish up." He pointed toward the field and the man continually casting Hado 37. "So, who's with me?" And with that, half of the shinigami left.
"I guess you guys are with me." He looked around to see a decently sized group, all trembling in fear. "Now, just act more afraid than you already are and I'll do the rest. Okay?" The group nodded in unison and began flailing wildly. "That's...not what I had in mind, but it'll do." With the distraction in place, he just needed to get the man's attention. Unfortunately, he didn't really have anything to work with. Sure, he could scream or throw rocks, but he didn't know how effective that could be. He could have tried casting a kido, if he knew any. However, he didn't. So what did he do? Well...
"Hey, rogue! Over here!" He screamed, while throwing just about anything he could. In fact, the only things he didn't throw were zanpakuto and people. Yes, the plan sucked. However, he was doing about as much as he could in a wide open field. There was no shade to hide under, so he had to make do with what was in the environment. In this case, the people that were trying to flee. It could have been considered as, "taking advantage of non-combatants", but he honestly didn't care. There was a man trying to set up a minefield and he needed a distraction. That's all that mattered at this point.

Bob ❝Are you watching closely?...❞ Bob looked around his mind eagerly attempting to discern the best course of action. He witnessed the man implementing a minefield which could prove to be a priceless asset once all the bystanders are clear and the real fight can begin. "He must be very strong in order to willingly engage this large of a crowd without the fear of dying, he consumed some sort of energy source I assume from that Shinigami... if the effect of consuming that is instantaneous then each comrade he devours will increase his strength making it so that he could possibly defeat all of us after killing only a hundred or so. So far we have some medics, I would guess a tactician by his minefield strategy and the other must be attempting a distraction. Though I suppose we need a tank, if I can draw him away from that metal I can attempt to hold my own with him. I think my brute strength can be enough I just hope I will be able to keep up with his speed" Bob pondered all of this as fast as possible so that he could return to his part of the plan as soon as possible.
"It's my time to shine, this guy is mine. All the pieces are falling into place so it's not time for me to do what I do best. Beat the s**t out of something" He muttered this to himself talking allowed to alert those who were listening that this shinigami never minded being in the front lines and he doesn't now. He clenched both fists his urge for a challenge now rising. He hopped on both feet a few times the same way an athlete would before the first whistle. Epinephrine began to rush through his body giving him a tingling sensation as his excitement began to build, he was getting amped to take this new found enemy.
"There's always a bigger fish." He whispered this to himself as he gripped his zanpakuto in his right hand drawing it from the sheath, He then smirked knowing the fun that this new opponent would bring. He dashed out of the crowd he was in now standing alone in the open field far from the others zanpakuto in his right hand now raising his left up toward the enemy pointing his left index finger directly at his target. "Hado #4. Byakurai" He spoke as his left index finger began to glow, the muscles in his left arm all contracted at once firing off a concentrate blue bolt of lightning that rushed toward his opponent at significant speed. "Let's see his speed, he's roughly five hundred yards, depending on how far he moves and how fast I can accurately gauge just how quick this guy is" After the shot was fired Bob's stance widened now entering a defensive position so that he could react to his opponent as soon as possible.

((Holy ******** I've got a mountain of text to sift through. A Just War, if you wouldn't mind next time don't post before I have a chance to. Sorry I ignored a lot of you. Bob's the one trying to get in the enemy's face a bit and obviously given half a chance it'll turn on Takeshi. I didn't mention Rat or Linuen in detail because they're taking background roles at the moment. If you want to move yourselves into the foreground that'd be easier.)) The cannibal's eyes darted upwards when another Shinigami brought himself before him. Young, male, looked tough. Just the way the rogue Shinigami liked his victims. Nice and healthy. As he swallowed the piece of the Shinigami he ate he lifted himself with his bandaged arm and his other, not bandaged arm and up onto his legs. "A...a..." He began to talk, responding to Bob, but stuttered constantly. "M-m-monster?" The pitch of his voice wavered constantly and the secondary voice commonly associated with hollows resonated beneath it for the briefest of moments. With each stuttered word the Shinigami's shark like teeth became visible for just a moment. His eyes still human though bored into Bob with all the complex intent of a simple hollow and one thing and one thing alone could be told about this enemy. He was still hungry. The Shinigami now drew his Zanpakto from its' sheath. Previously he had managed to use his bare hand to destroy a lone Shinigami's Zanpakto however in a fight where he was surrounded like this over-exerting and using that sort of force in every blow could potentially leave him easy to attack while he ate. While the Shinigami was not fully able to understand complex battle tactics (and thus was poor at detecting the minefield.) due to mental pollution he could still act on instinct to protect himself. Drawing one's sword was almost the most basic instinct when one wanted to survive. Unsurprisingly it was held in the bandaged hand and from the clattering noise the sword now made it was possible to tell that the arm was shaking. Not out of fear, or so it appeared, but out of anticipation. For a second the eyes of the bestial Shinigami snapped onto a few other parties. For one it looked at the Shinigami casting Kido nearby. That could be a reward of its' own. Anyone who could cast Kido well was sure to taste delicious. The other eye snapped onto a few members of the medical division. Though they had guards they'd easily be the more defenceless of all those gathered. So many good opportunities and yet there was no way he could have them all. The cannibal had to simply prioritise. The monster then began to move for Bob. With each step forward its' reiatsu became more excitable. The expression on the Shinigami's face was nothing short of a toothy grin and the shark like teeth glistened menacingly in the hot summer sun. Though it was getting pelted with rocks its' head merely shifted position slightly and then cracked back. It was taking hits from the rocks like they didn't even matter. It already had an easily available target who had thrown himself into the brawl and would probably then focus its' attentions on the Squad 2 member. Slowly working its way through potential victims until none were left. If there were nothing else of interest about the Shinigami cannibal at least it could be said that they kept to their goals. When Bob fired the Kido the rogue Shinigami made his first aggressive movement. The very moment the attack was performed a swish sound came from his feet and he disappeared promptly from vision. At first it may have seemed the Kido had not connected but this was due to its' piercing properties. The Shinigami rogue reappeared once more immediately after with his bandaged hand outstretched standing no more than half a metre from Bob. He would be able to now even smell the rogue and the smell of torn flesh and the guts of Shinigami as well as his own heavy sweat. Though Bob's attack had connected it hadn't stopped the rogue Shinigami who now had a huge hole running through his bandaged arm from the middle of his palm all the way through his shoulder and deep black blood pouring out of it. There was no way that arm could be used to grab and yet that was just what it did. Almost immediately the beast like Shinigami made a grabbing motion for Bob's robes. His sword had managed to switch hands during the Shunpo. Was he ambidextrous? It hardly mattered though for the attack he was planning. As he attempted to pull Bob's body towards him with his broken hand he also extended his Katana in such a way that there was no doubt it'd go through one of Bob's most vital organs. The Rogue Shinigami intended to end the fight with a single blow even if it wasn't as strong.

Bob ❝Are you watching closely?...❞ Bob's eyes simply moved tracking his opponent fairly well, his whole body contracted reflexively when his opponent had closed the distance between them so abruptly. As the menacing whatever this was reached out with his mangled right arm and stabbed with his left. Not one for acrobatics, Bob stepped to his right narrowly avoiding the grab while simultaneously swinging across his body to deflect the piercing strike away from himself. "And here I thought I lost you" Bob said while jumping backwards to create five to six meters of space between the two. "I'm surprised you can still use that arm, where do I get one?" Bob spoke, upholding his usual phlegmatic tone with a slight hint of sarcasm, he was attempting to see the intelligence of this beast knowing it had at least minimal speaking capabilities.
He sighed his dodge being a bit slow as the animal ripped off the top half of his shinigami robes revealing two sets of weights one on either forearm. "I do not know the limits of strength, it could be quite reckless for me to simply charge in though I suppose there is only one way to find out... My strength is exceptional for my rank and there are medical shinigami's in attendance so if I get in too deep I could always retreat and get healed." His mind attempting to discern the best course of action he had at least accomplished his goal gaining the attention of this opponent so his comrade could continue to set traps. He sighed rubbing the back of his neck with his left hand his right still pointing his zanpakuto at the enemy.
"It cannot be helped, even though it would be reckless of me to jump in and get close with those sharp teeth and that starving appetite of yours; I'm just too riveted to find out how strong you actually are" He spoke, his voice now showing a bit of excitement. His legs flexed as he disappeared shunpoing not particularly fast, but on par with those his rank. He appeared on the left side on his opponent swinging downward with abnormal strength for his rank wanting to slice the foe in two. His left fist cocked back, then rocketing forward hoping the monster would block with his zanpakuto and then leave his body open for a what would hopefully be a bone breaking punch "Stay on your toes, that arm even with a hole in it could prove still viable. Also those teeth could be a problem. Though if he bit me I suppose it would leave him open for some sort of finisher"

Linuen Frost Fourth Division, Seireitei, Soul Society Training Grounds [4: 380]
The events that unfolded was indeed too fast for Linuen's senses. The sudden movements between the rogue Shinigami and Bob with surprising intensity and speed; so much that the medic experienced a short pain in his eyes in struggling to search for both of the combatants. Sensing the strange frustrated gasps behind him, the senior medic realized that the other three medical personnel behind him were struggling also. And to add to that, the members of the Sixth and Seventh Divisions were shuffling uncomfortably as they watched. Meanwhile, the members of the Eleventh Division were ecstatic, which included the handsome member who warned Linuen.
"Hayashi, Junichi, we're going in." The handsome Eleventh Division member said to his fellow members, who were standing beside him. They nodded in response and then began to step forward. Linuen grasped the commandeer's right arm. "Don't." The medic requested. But the man merely smiled at him; a warm smile totally wrong at the current situation. "Don't worry. We were trained for this." He said and then dashed off along with the other two.
Suddenly, Linuen felt another arm tug him and saw a member of the Sixth Division, a tall man with a very kind face, look at him warily. "Don't try to move in. You and your comrades' presence is essential for the events that will about to happen. Stay still and be wary." He said to Linuen in a very soft tone, much unlike to stern images of his fellow division members.
And as if to prove his warning, the Eleventh Division members disappeared with a series of short sprints and appeared behind the rogue Shinigami. All of them had their blades before the foe's back, striking downward to deliver a series of heavy blows (heavy, Linuen noted, for they were members of the melee division). Linuen instinctively clutched at his chest and waited for the scene that he did not want to see.
"Seiichi." Linuen said at the Fourth Division member with brown hair, who flinched upon recognition of his name. "Keita." He gestured to the harassed-looking medic. "And Junichiro." He added, mentioning the last medic with large, horror-stricken eyes. Linuen was good with names and he was familiar with them, much to their shock for they barely knew him. "Be ready."

"Um...now what?" Takeshi wasn't sure what to do any more. His distraction didn't seem necessary, since multiple shinigami from the 11th Division were attacking. Besides, it wasn't like his distraction was very good, either. Throwing rocks only does so much from far away. "There's got to be something else I can do, other than throw rocks. I mean, this isn't exactly the best use of my skills..." He looked at the rock that was in his hand. "Yeah...no. I'm going to do something else now." Now, if only he could actually find something else to do.
After a bit of looking around, he saw a few medics forming a casually collection point. Since most of the 11th Division members were busy fighting the rogue, they were relatively unprotected. Sure, there were a few guys from the other divisions around them, but how useful could they be? They would probably all get cut down in seconds. "Well I guess it's up to me, the recon guy, to protect the medics. Make sense."
"Hey, you guys!" He said, referring to the flailing group around him. "I'm going to go protect that guy over there," Takeshi pointed to the senior medic. "So you guys stay here and throw rocks and stuff. Got it?" There was no response. "If you don't do what I say, I'm going to kill you in your sleep." The shinigami finally responded, as they began to throw rocks as fast as they could at the enemy. Now that the "annoying rock" aspect was covered, he was free to run over to the medics and guard them. And by run over, I mean sprint.
He left the relative safety of the large mob and sprinted over to the group of medics. Even though the rogue was distracted with the many 11th Division shinigami, Takeshi didn't want to be noticed at all. He wanted to protect the casualty collection point, not become one himself. "I hate battles so much. There's nothing that I can really do, except go up for an assassination. And Halo has shown how well that works..."
A few seconds later, Takeshi had pretty much made it to the medics. Just to be safe, he slid the last few feet and kicked up a small amount of dirt. "Yes, that was necessary." Was the first thing that came out of his mouth after he stood up. "Takeshi Ryuujin, 2nd Division reporting in." He said, addressing Linuen. Although they were of similar rank, Linuen seemed to be in charge at the moment. "What do you want me to do, sir?"

The heat. Everyone seemed to complain about the heat. They had a right to since it was a little hot, but to Shirokuma it didn't even faze him. The heat seemed to bounce off of him like he was covered in mirrors. He stayed cool while everyone else complained about the heat. Lucky him. He was on his way to a little training session that his captain had cooked up. Cooked. Get it? He really didn't want to go since he knew so many people would come as well, but he had no choice in the matter since it was his captain that made the event. He wished he could just lay under a Blossom Tree and relax. His thoughts were cut off when suddenly silver liquid metal rained down from the sky which surprised him greatly. He looked up just in time to see a man float down to the area right in front of him. He wasted no time and ran to where he saw the man land.
Shiro hopped over a wall just before it seemed to disintegrate into nothingness. This concerned him greatly. When he finally arrived to the scene he found shinigami either running or fighting the mysterious being. He growled a bit at the man as he stepped forward from his spot. He towered over everyone there including the rogue that was attacking everyone. He saw another shinigami begin to attack the rogue and decided to join him. He used a shunpo to get on the right side of the rogue. He curled his hand into a fist before he aimed down at the rogue and sent a punch that would shatter the very ground they stood on should he miss. If the punch connected it would shatter a few bones and send the man flying.

Konpaku didn't really see a point in going to these functions. With the sun as hot as it was, he didn't see a point in Bein outside. Slipping his arms through his gi. Konpaku let it fall past his waist. Hanging there with no wind to push it Konpaku smiled as his thin toned frame shone in the blistering heat. "Damn it, I should have worn my vest."
Konpaku was unhappy with his current situation but if there was going to be swordplay then he may as well do the losers the honor of actually showing. From what he had heard, squad 11 had some great swordsman. Walking not with his hands above his head smoothly strolling into the scene. He noticed the screaming and dust of battle. Taken back about Konpaku began running fearing he was missing on the good stuff.
Running into a group of people running away from the action Konpaku fought his way through until he stumbled upon a group who seemed to be watching eveything happen. Struggling through he managed to break free of the crowds and make his way over. Some of these people looked absolutely horrified. He had to know what was going. "I guess this is what I get for being late." stopping behind the group breathing little hard, he gave a half grin before speaking. "Hey, what's going on? Why us everyone freaking out?"

As Bob began to talk the cannibal Shinigami's arm started regrowing. A new layer of porcelain white flesh grew and filled up the holes which the Kido had made all the way into the Shinigami's shoulder. This revealed some crucial information and served as further evidence of another, perhaps more threatening element altogether. One, the Shinigami cannibal's arm had the abilities of high speed regeneration and it was possible this ability extended to the rest of his body though it was difficult to tell. An ability like this was usually only used by Hollows. It was a suspicious element but not enough to go on right now. Second this revealed to them that their opponent was more than likely using this arm as a source of his power to some degree. They had already seen his arm gave him enough force to shatter Zanpakto and plunge through flesh. Only one mystery about this opponent remained. If his arm enhanced his strength then what did his teeth do?
With the next assault, the rogue barely had time at all to think, instantly thrown into a battle he could not escape without a wound. From the left a cut was coming downwards upon him. From the right the fist of something strong was hurtling towards him and from the back a group was coming to cut him to pieces. No matter how tough his arm was that didn't apply to the entirety of his body and this was why the rogue now had to show off the powers that his transplanted teeth bestowed.
Quickly chomping at his flesh to use the blood as a means to prepare the power necessary he ripped a huge chunk of his flesh out from the other arm and dropped his sword. "Cmmghro" He said as the piece of flesh was evaporated before them and a red orb of light took its' place. There was no mistaking what that was. It was a full powered cero. Cast using vaguely the same mechanic as a Gran Rey to make up for his own lack of ability to realistically fire a cero. So in truth it was a Gran Rey with no more power than the cero of a Gillian class Menos. However this was still incredibly dangerous. He swung round immediately to the left and then aimed the cero behind him. This was to counter both Bob and the Squad 11 team that had attacked him. However he could not reach the large man in time and found himself quite quickly with his face colliding with the floor and a cero being fired sideways towards the Senkaimon. Blasting the liquid metal coating away and making it accessible once more.
The Shinigami cannibal then now lay on the ground. Twitching. A chunk of his arm ripped out and his head bleeding heavily. It was not quite clear if he was dead but he wouldn't live much longer at this rate. More than likely he would not survive half an hour thanks to the teamwork of the Shinigami who had attacked him from all sides. His white arm was mangled and his still 'pure' arm would never work again. It looked like now would be a good time to escape.

Linuen Frost Fourth Division, Seireitei, Soul Society Training Grounds [5: 394]
It was only moment after Linuen warned Seiichi, Keita, and Junichiro to be cautious when a member of the Second Division arrived before them. The man introduced himself as Takeshi Ryuujin, a rather upbeat man with lots o' enthusiasm - something that Linuen found rather misplaced in the situation.
Linuen nodded at his introduction but kept his gaze at the rogue Shinigami, who was now having different audiences for his ruckus. "I am Linuen Frost, a medic from the Fourth Division. Thank you for your company." He said but the rest of the members of the Sixth, Seventh, and Tenth Divisions were not at all pleased, disapproving of the scene being caused by one confident member of the Second Division.
Suddenly, the swift struggle happened before all of them. Linuen gasped. The rogue Shinigami did something quick upon the arrival of the figures around him. He devoured something off his own body and then was now casting what seemed to be Cero. The medic's eyes widened with shock and grabbed Takeshi's arm instinctively. But surprisingly, the assault happened all too quick for the foe and, perhaps, too strong. The three Eleventh Division members struck successfully with the Shinigami, Shiro, attack landing successfully. The enemy fell down at the ground, bleeding heavily.
Linuen couldn't believe it. As soon as the monster arrived, the battle ended with a flash of a second. The medic was struck with amazement, so much that he wasn't even able to realize that the foe's Cero misfiring to the clogged Senkaimon. As soon as the gateway opened once again, the remaining evacuees began to escape, grabbing the opportunity to save their lives from what they expect not-so-dead enemy. But Linuen knew what to do.
The battle was over for now and he needed to save as much life from danger as possible. "I think, Takeshi, you need to get out of here as soon as you can. The higher ups will be the one checking the trouble, I guess." Linuen said, observing the celebrating members of the Eleventh Division from a distance. "Seiichi, Junichiro, and Keita! Please facilitate the evacuation process and get everyone out of here." He commanded, which the three responded with nods. They disappeared with a flash of Shunpo.
"Come on!" Linuen said and then turned his wakizashi away and then beckoned for the nearby Shinigami to escape.

"Wait...what was that?" Takeshi's eyes widened as he saw a familiar red light. Instinctively, he moved in front of the medic and braced for some kind of impact. He was so ready to get hit, in fact that he almost didn't notice the blast go off in some random direction. The only thing he really saw was a red light going away from them. "Dayum. I guess we got lucky there. Cause there's no way I would have been able to take a full on Cero. Y'know, I should probably think these things out first. I don't want to scar the medic by getting my guts all over him." He turned to look at the medic as the dust settled. "Well, that was close. I hope that everyone's okay."
When he turned back to the fighting, he was...shocked, to say the least. The strange cannibal rogue had been knocked to the ground already and was bleeding profusely. "Wow. 11th Division works fast. I should get them to do my laundry..." He thought to himself, trying to be funny. It didn't work. "So, what n--" Before he could finish his sentence, Linuen began to speak again. "Get out of here, you say? That would be a good idea...however, I'm not leaving until most of the others are out. Including you."
What he said wasn't due to bravery at all. He merely wanted to get as many people out of there as he could. Since now was the perfect time to leave, he felt it was necessary to get all of the weaker shinigami out. The people that couldn't handle a battle or even tend to the wounded. "Hm...maybe...I should ask Linuen. Once again, he turned to face the medic. "Hey. Shouldn't we try to get everyone else out first? They're just really easy targets and honestly..." He glanced at the rogue lying on the ground. Leaning in close to Linuen, he whispered, "He's not exactly dead. We need to get everyone that can't fight or heal out of here. Then we can leave after. Okay? Okay." He didn't even wait for an answer. It's not like he would have retreated, no matter what the response was.

Bob ❝Are you watching closely?...❞ Bob's eyes widened when he felt the warm glow of what had appeared to be a cero being pointed at him and his comrades, "s**t, I'll hit him as he hits me. I suppose if this is how it has to be" Bob mused the idea of possibly dying to kill this opponent a smile creeping along his face as his eyes seemed to slowly close a feeling of acceptance washing over him as he believed he has met his match. His eyes quickly shot open as he realized he was unscathed. He looked upon a behemoth of whatever this cloaked thing was nodding with a slight smirk on his face in approval of the man's action and talent to punch that thing in the face.
"No speaking capabilities... Your arm is quite unique and those teeth as well, I wonder just how much you had to sacrifice in order to get that power" He said with a calm tone that had a slight hint of pity in it. He felt sorry for this beast that had become so ignorant and blind by hunger for whatever it had consumed that it didn't even have the reason or intelligence to speak. Bob's zanpakuto now fell it's tip almost making contact with his opponent's adam's apple. "Cut off a wolf's head and it still has the power to bite" Bob muttered this to himself so that he would verbally remind himself to not let his guard down no matter how defeated this enemy seemed to be. His left fist was withdrawn the punch not necessary after his new found enormous comrade had done enough.
"I don't know who you are but thank you" Bob spoke phlegmatically to the colossal shinigami in front of him, his eye contact did not waver from the enemy though Bob's thanks was heartfelt. He was in quite the pickle and this mammoth of a man had bailed him out. "If you wish you may deal the final blow, assuming this thing has lost the ability to fight... if it still can I can guarantee I won't attempt to cut it down myself" He spoke, making sure to not break etiquette. The giant had successfully hunted this beast so it would be only fitting for him to lay the final blow if he saw fit.

Shirokuma straightened himself and let both of his arms fall to his sides as he watched the rogue shinigami become nothing but a bloody rag-doll from his punch. He looked down at the bleeding man and felt pity for the stranger. Whatever the reason the man was pushed down a path nobody should go down. His attention wavered over to the shinigami that he had helped. The man was thanking him. He shook his head and gently pounded his fist against his chest. This meant they were comrads and he would help any time. He once again looked down to the bloody rogue and knelt down to him. He drew his Zanpakuto, but before he dealt the finishing blow he began to mutter. He was offering a small prayer for the man and asked for him to find happiness next time instead of being pushed to madness. He then quickly ended the man's pain and cut off his head from his neck. He flicked the blood off his sword before he sheathed it. He then turned to Bob and ushered him to go through the Senkaimon before he pointed to the others telling him to take them with him. He would go last since he was the strongest physically of the group.

Rat finished up setting his seventh and final Descending Flames mine and wiped away at the sweat on his brow. That was tiring work, but at least they would be able to deal with the- Huh, funny that. Its reiatsu just disappeared, didn’t it? He looked up from his series of mines and noticed that a few others had managed to take care of the issue. Although the sapper in him felt disappointed he wasn’t able to set off all those explosives, the rest of Rat was completely ecstatic. A threat was just neutralized and he managed to save every single Shell Blast! Talk about efficiency! It seemed like the Senkaimon were freed again and the evacuation back into place. Well, that was good. Although he couldn’t assume every threat was neutralized, he wondered if he would have more time to run back for more materials.
In the end, he decided he would, picking up the padded box, he gingerly stepped far around his mines and began to search for each and every one of the 36 explosive clay balls. After a few minutes of searching, he managed to locate every single one and safely stored them away. With that, he once again took care to step around his minefield, Rat returned them to his heavy and overloaded backpack. His mind raced with more items he could grab and since that one threat was neutralized, did he have time for more items? Probably. A sleeping bag would probably make the transition more comfortable, canned foodstuff too. He sprinted back to grab those items along with another rucksack, added them to his overstuffed backpack, and began walking towards the Senkaimon, fatigued mostly from the kido with a blazing sun overhead and tired arms.
He wondered if he should tell the others about his stash of items, but at the last moment decided against it. While most of the people around, especially those who managed to defeat the rogue, seemed decent enough, Rat was wary of those self-righteous Ninth Squad twits who always went about on their justice schmustice and tried to stop him, though they had yet to catch him in the act, from securing as many items as he could from the Armory over a period of time. Mostly at night. That was irrelevant though, see how useful those items ended up? Well, not yet of course but he was sure all those things he salvaged would be incredibly useful soon.
With that thought, Rat walked towards the Senkaimon along with the other hordes of Shinigami to evacuate Soul Society. He didn’t bother looking back. Hopefully, one of the invaders would step on the minefield he set up and blow themselves to tidbits. Although he suppose it’d be pretty bad if a Shinigami ended up stepping on it. Oh well, those things happen in his line of work, can’t do anything about it.

Linuen Frost Fourth Division, Seireitei, Soul Society Training Grounds [6: 258]
Linuen Frost was keeping himself busy with the evacuees when Takeshi stated about his refusal to leave until others have done so. The medic turned to the member of the Second Division and then gazed upon him for a moment, before chuckling warmly at his words. He was shaking his head. "You know, Takeshi-san, there are proper places to be brave or noble." He said quietly, straightening the Shinigami lines when the crowd got a little out of order.
"Also, I was taught to fight in the Academy, just like you." Linuen added after a moment. "Well, I'm not as you good as you are but you do get the point. I am capable of protecting myself as much as you do. But anyways, thanks for the concern; it meant a lot." He lied sincerely, on some parts. The medic was quite sure he wasn't capable of protecting himself because he was terrible at hand-to-hand combat.
When Takeshi began on something about getting everybody out first, the medic didn't understand what he meant. After all, they were on the evacuation process, just as what he wanted. However, before he could even ask about what he meant, Linuen saw two Shinigami standing before the enemy. "What are they doing...?" Linuen said softly, unable to stop his wonder. "Shouldn't they leave the enemy untouched until the arrival of the higher-ups or the Twelfth Division? The enemy was a mystery; they couldn't just dispose of him..." The medic began as he observed from a distance the two Shinigami, Bob and Shirokuma.
