Personality: Quiet and strong, but fiercely loyal. Not very talkative, Tarkus doesn't often say any more than he explicitly needs to.
Bio: Little is known about Takus before he came to the Embryon's attention. He has hardly, if ever talked about his life prior to him being recruited into the Task Force, he claims to have been a farmer, but does not willingly divulge much more than that. From what the reports say, there was demon activity in a rural area in central Europe. A giant iron golem had been making it's way through some farmlands and Embryon operatives had shown up to quell the threat, only to find a lone man, brandishing a rather large broadsword, standing before the golem. That man was Tarkus. He was a giant of a man himself, but the Golem still made him seem small. With a mighty roar, a white pattern erupted from his left hand and soon covered his entire body, as his skin turned black and melded into the shape of a large set of black plate armor.
With a few thunderous clangs of his sword, he had felled the golem, and driven his blade into it's chest, killing it.
Tarkus returned with the Embryon operatives without any resistance, all the while barely saying a word.

Personality: Feid has a bit of a harsh view on things, a pessimist by nature. He's always making remarks about something bad going on, or giving the grimmest outlook possible. Though he spends copious amounts of money on cheap booze, aside from it, he seems to be adverse to spending ANY excess money. He claims to be saving it all up for something special, and will always do his best to get out of paying for something...preferring to hog it all for himself..Yet, if the pay's good...Or he respects someone...He's a loyal ally, through in through. As for earning that respect though...
Bio: Feid started out in an Orphanage, constantly teased, taunted, and ridiculed. He was an unruly child, always getting into fights with other kids, and fighting........One day though, one of the other kids had found something entirely dangerous, and ended up starting a fire in the Orphanage... He'd saved one of the kids at this, though the building as a whole was burned down, and they had a bunch of homeless orphans to deal with...until a kind and caring family donated a generous Sum to the orphanage, having been searching for someone to grow up with their daughter, and protect her. Feid was almost unanimously volunteered, both for his Heroic act, and because he was the kind of kid that would fight anyone that so much as looked at them funny. When he was taken in, he bonded with their daughter a bit...before she came down with a grievous illness. Her parents had to spend considerable sums of money to combat it...though, it wasn't something that was easily handled... and as her Medical bills rose higher and higher, they had to start struggling to make ends meet. Feid was a teenager at the time, but he took on several part time Jobs, quitting school so that he could dedicate his time to helping the family that had taken him in...and the sister he cared so much about. One day after a job though, he was assaulted by a monstrous, otherworldly being...a Demon.
He fought to handle it, but eventually, something inside him started to burn. He felt himself start to ignite....And in a flash, the whole area was on fire...and he was aware of his new power.....Now evident not only by the tattoo on his chest, but the burns on his arms. He'd been injured from his form...And As he learned to control it, he always found himself burnt, even within his flame-riddled form. He had trouble keeping it under control at times, but with such a power came....Darker jobs. Seedier ones... He didn't just do simple jobs, but also Bounty-hunting...Robberies...Anything he could to get enough money to help keep his family afloat. Eventually though, his family confronted him on where he was getting his money, getting no answer from him on the darker jobs. They could tell something was up with him, though he managed to keep his Atma a secret from them. They had a really bad fight one night, and he eventually ran away from home, pretending to hate them, and shun them.......yet, he kept sending them money from his work...for his sister's treatments, and for their well being...
Some time passed, and eventually he was scouted by the Embryon, enticed by the idea of a steady, healthy paycheck to work with. He gained an infamy among the Embryon as a money-grubbing, cheapskate, who's bark was bigger than his bite. He always finished a mission out of breath, and unlike most Atma users, he always seemed to be switching between his human form, and his transformed for some reason during battle, never sticking to it..
And yet, despite his eccentricities, he was eventually transferred to Inaba, under the infamous Knight Obsessed with the Sun. He isn't anywhere near bright enough to match his captain, but he has a fire burning deep down inside him...possibly even more than figuratively..

Love Interest: Ria the Ace of Aces
Personality: Smooth, laid back, cool...a silver-tongued talker who excels in cooling off tense situations and leading people around him to the obvious conclusions, no matter how tough it may be to make the choice. Far more clever than most give him credit for, but also someone who prefers using his mind over his body. More of a slacker in the physical department, but quite sharp mentally.
Bio: Ishe is proof that the recruiting calendars work!

Whatever he was doing before joining up with the Embryon is a story that was agreed to be placed under wraps when he volunteered to join the organization after coming across a calendar in which Captain Ria was featured and deciding that the military life must have been the one for him. Even though he wasn't a military type, he had long-since awakened to the Atma Virus and managed to get it under control without a whole lot of trouble. Despite not being very powerful, he is as adept with his form as one could hope to be, and figured out most of the ins and outs of Atma before ever coming into contact with the military. Confessing his power to them rather candidly, he was more than pleased to learn that the object of his desires was much like him...a user of the forbidden power granted by the Virus.

Joining up with the Embryon, he was assigned to Inaba once the Mori reinstated the organization, but upon his request he was placed in a squad that was not under the command of the Ace of Aces, as Ishe believed that there was nothing less attractive to a commanding officer than one of her subordinates. He also believed her to be one of those 'hardcore' types of trainers, and he certainly wasn't the 'hardcore' type of student. He contributes to battles and military matters in his own way, his keen mind and insight into any situation making him valuable beyond his low-ranking station.

His stated goal, rather plainly, is to do his duty in his own way, as well as he can. And if he can get that cute Captain (now Brigadier General, since he keeps rather closely up to date with her progress) to go out on a date with him as a result, he'll happily take that as a worthy reward for his efforts.

Love Interest: W..well, there are lots of interesting people around...A..and...
Personality: Negima's a bit nervous about things, but has an argumentative streak. He tries to keep a keen eye, but more often than not will miss something obvious. He is quick to point out other's faults, but is just as receptive to having his own pointed out. Despite his nature, he tends to get along with people easily...and forgives them for just about everything at so much as a kind word....Which leads to him being bullied mercilessly when one figures out they can get away with it.
Bio: Negima lived a fairly normal life, going through schools, getting average grades....and getting bullied mercilessly over little things. He'd resigned himself to being everyone's gopher, and for the longest while, he was content, even if it was...Depressing. At one point, someone told him to try to stand up for himself, and let them know that he wasn't going to take this sort of thing anymore. When he did though, the bully had mentioned using a Summoning App to sic a demon on him if he didn't comply. Though Negima started to comply, the app activated either way, and summoned up the demon in question. Watching it kill the one that summoned it handily, Negima felt something well up inside him...Something that practically burst out of him, and overflowed him with energy, transforming him for the first time, and both defeating and devouring the demon. When the authorities came, he didn't know what to make heads or tails of, and though he could explain his actions with proof, they deemed him a bit mad. However, a scout from the Embryon had looked into the subject, and as the story checked out, Negima was given a choice. Go to Jail for the murder...or Join the Embryon, and learn just what had happened to him. He opted for the latter, and in no time, he was now an official solider of the Embryon...
