Looking at the text that she had just gotten from Caelius and thought just for a second that she wouldn't go on this mission since she was in the middle of reading a good book.
You do have a point, Lin. She really didn't want to have Caelius attentions as that would just end up badly and she was trying to be of some use. Putting down her book, writing a few notes down in the notebook then she put on her coat and headed out of her room.
It didn't take Tori all that long to get to the room the text had said and then thought back to it to be a little surprised that there had been no time for them to be there but she still rushed a little to the room. Once there she saw that there were others already there when she looked around the room. Seeing that Ami was already there Tori quietly sat near her waiting to see what this mission was going to be about.

Ami rubbed the bridge of her nose. The walking dead? Ami would've taken that as an insult if she wasn't so tired and didn't want to deal with it. She actually prided herself in her appearance, and worked hard to appear cute.
Instead she just let Kat babble on about ... well whatever it was. Ami didn't have the energy to listen. "Sorry just- just repeat that last part?" she said, "I missed it ... Sorry, just a little out of it!"
Tori came and sat down next to her, and Ami gave a tiny wave with her fingers. That's all Tori was getting. Too tired for anything else.
"Little" was an exaggeration.lividpeas sorry for the double quote > A<;

It didn’t take long for other familiar faces to come trickling in. Two in particular stood out to Wilson. He gave each of them a fleeting glance before he hurriedly turned his attention elsewhere. The trainee pressed his lips together and leaned into his seat while he stared at his clasped hands. He could hear multiple conversations around him. It made him feel a smidge lonely. Just a smidge though. A smidge. Really. Wilson looked around at all of the familiar faces. Most of the people he usually talked to were…talking…to those particular…people. Right. He hesitated, but then went over to plop down next to Sherry. He gave her a brief smile before it disappeared and he stared at his feet while he waited for Caelius or Allan to speak (probably Caelius).

Before was always perfectly fine with blending into the background. So much more nowadays in Deus whenever messages from specific Division Leaders arrived. So when one such message appeared in his phone's inbox, the Misty managed to make it to the designated room without causing much fuss or muss.
He opted to sidle up to familiar faces, this time. Friendly, most likely to be non-hostile, familiar faces. Such as "Heeeey Ofie," he greeted quietly with a big grin, letting teal eyes wander towards the general direction of her gaze and mimicking the wave she had given the Trio.

Saya entered the room, her hand brushing her hair nervously, hands sliding from the nape of her neck to the top of her head. Saya was growing to learn, seldom did one have a good feeling when going out onto a mission.
Worse was Allan-taichou's behavior.
It didn't scream good times, as it normally did. Those "good times" weren't normally good either. Sighing, Saya pressed several figners to her aching forehead.

Sherry had been scanning the room, and trying to non-conspicuously watch the leads. They knew what this was about, but there was really no way to read them. The room was filling up with people. Some she knew and some she didn't. That didn't surprise her. It was clear this place had a pretty quick turn-over. Her attention focused as Wilson filled the seat next to hers. She returned his smile, and noticed that his didn't last long. "Hey, Wilson. Good to see you."

Mimsy was more than a little bit apprehensive regarding the news of a mission. After the first assignment, she had extensively questioned the legitimacy of the organization into which she'd been inducted, resolving to give it another chance. Or two. Maybe a few more, if the toys in the labs were particularly nice. Her fingers idly drummed against the pocket hem of her coat, and it responded with a buzz from the cell phone within. Another message - from Kostya this time. ILU 5 EVR Yes, you will. Much faster if you turn ~65 degrees and look straight ahead. If he did just that, he would be met with a brief smile and a salute in greeting.

Did he have to? From the text he assumed yes, he had to. Selected hunters indeed. Marcus was not pleased with how things had turned out for a variety of reasons. Demon mark being one of them. Now his plans and things had been put on hold, plus with that morning in particular he'd woken later then he should have. He'd spent far to late out in the town doing repair work, and nasty buggers had been trying to badger him on his way back to the dorms.
Note to self: talk to some life hunter about setting the path from town to main building with wards.
When did arrive to a not hyper Allen, Marcus was taken aback. Dis? ... The weapon was offering nothing but that cold, brooding silence. Marcus had only meant to ask what the weapon thought it might be, but the former vampire had been stubbornly quite since the return back from their trip to hell. Fine. Brood then. ....
A small mental buzz in his ear and Marcus popped his neck. An angry weapon was not something he'd been wanting to deal with. The blue tinged coat didn't give him comfort. His weapon did. Even if the scimitar was letting himself be wielded, the lack of Dis's chatter had him out of sorts. Out of it enough he ignore the majority of the hunter trainees and sit himself down, waiting to get the orders.

Harrison was on high enough alert to notice the friendly waves.
He glared daggers at Ofie and Before, made a low growling noise, and tightened his fists where his sword handles should be.
It wasn't that he hated Ofie (or Before, for that matter) it was just that he was teetering on a very stabby sort of edge.
Sasha had the ******** gall to smirk, that b***h. She knew. She knew and she was like a cat with a canary in her mouth. She was another story. He hoped she ended up dead this mission, because he wouldn't be defending her a**. It would fix a lot of problems. She and the resulting tablet could go straight to hell.

Rep glanced up as Ofie sat down, looking dazed. It was much too easy for him to get lost entirely in his thoughts, and today there was a lot to think about. Particularly the many many ways he could die on this mission without any weapons.
It took him a bit to register she'd even waved and return it, repeating the gesture for Before.
It was only then that he even realised more people had arrived, particularly Harrison and Jordan, giving them a library volume greeting, not wanting to break the quiet tension of the room. Speaking of which, it had gotten crowded fast, he hadn't even noticed Sasha, Rin and Jerry arrive. Sasha. He gave her a very cold look, almost surprised she had the gall to show up when she still hadn't deemed fit to allow him to be armed - it felt like gloating.
The sound Harrison made actually prompted him to look over his shoulder, raising a brow at the moon hunter. Again there was that instinct to just reach back, touch his hand, anything to try and relax him or at least show his gratitude - but it was just too busy in there - so he had to settle for a slightly worried frown instead.

The glare was somewhat wasted on Ofelia, and she would have wilted if she understood the situation more and was paying attention. Instead she tilted her head to the side and frowned a bit, moving both her hands up and shrugging as if to say 'what the hell man, I just said hi'. There were no words actually exchanged though and she sighed, turning her attention to one of her favorite people sitting at her side.
"Clooooovvveerrr. Ah've missed ya." Before received a long hug, Ofelia practically smashing him against her body. It was good to see him again, it had been a while since the infamous bake-off, so maybe on this mission/adventure they'd get to play together and have a good time!
It was then that she noticed Rep had waved -back- and somehow stuff seemed awesome. Ofelia waved again, apparently having forgotten all the s**t he'd put her through thanks to a certain we're making up session.

Before blinked. Not entirely sure what it was he'd done to merit Harrison's glare. Did, did he not want Before to be friendly with him anymore? Did that mean no more baked goods for the Moonie? Obviously the Misty was as unaware of whatever politics was happening as he was whatever romantic relations were going on. So he did what he'd always done when confronted with a situation involved interpresonal conflict: he avoided it.
And he did so by practically melding against Ofelia. She was nice to him. A little rough (okay a lot rough) but it was a playful sort, the kind where she might not have meant to hurt him physically but did because, well, she was Ofelia and that somehow explained everything to him.
"Totes sorry for being scarce. Still owe ya that shopping trip date, yeah?" he beamed, keeping his voice low and using as few words as possible. The aura in the room wasn't exactly conducive for lengthy conversations.

Ryan had cringed when he heard the inevitable sound of his phone buzzing obnoxiously on his desk. Excluding Allan's 'training' session, it had been too long since he had heard it go off. So long in fact, that it was starting to feel like the calm before a storm.
Fortunately for the moon trainee. Unlike the last time, he was already dressed and had made it there within reasonable time. Or, reasonable considering the amount they were usually given. Though just to be on the safe side, he quietly slipped in among the rather large group of trainees and recently made hunters, careful not to disturb anyone.
He for one was a little relieved that the briefing hadn't started yet. But judging by the expressions on Caelius' face and Allan's restlessness, he was beginning to think there really was a storm after all.

The fact that Marcus might have been brooding over things never occurred to Tikaanis. He was a semi familiar face that she never remembered talking to. Something prompted her to reach over and put a hand lightly on his shoulder. She gave him a smile. "Hi." She grinned, "So I don't think we ever were introduced properly a long time ago. My names Tikaanis and I'm a Mist hunter and.. Oh god there are so many new faces." She looked around for a moment. There were some older faces, sure, but none of them seemed to reach out to her so she felt awkward. The teen scooted over a seat to be closer to Marcus. "I know this is kind of elementary school of me to ask but can I hide with you for a while?" There was a pleading expression. She was being shy and Bix wasn't here to hide behind. Gale was but she hadn't said anything to the kid since she'd been back. Bix she at least knew had forgiven her. You are so pathetically innocent some times. What am I going to do with you misssss Tikaanis.

Jordan nodded distractedly to Ofelia and Before's greetings. He was rather more tense than he liked, but it wouldn't do to show that, so he remained quiet and still, just watching the room. He studied Sasha for a few moments; there was something altered about her expression, some new, faint tension that he couldn't quite identify. All he could tell was that something about her had changed, and that worried him in a way he couldn't pin down.
Harrison's small growl did get a reaction from him, though. He looked over to the blond man and reached back to brush fingertips across his arm, a brief, light contact.
