He danced back away from her advances, as he rammed into her shoulder in an attempt to bowl her across the ground and perhaps knock the breath from her lungs. It seemed he had entered a sort of trance, as if such things came naturally.
He wanted to win and that was that.

The female felt her shoulder crack painfully as she was shoved backwards. Hitting the ground, she scrambled up as soon as she could, a little breathless, however she lunged foward and bearing her ivory teeth, sunk a row of them into the side of his neck fiercely. Growling between his fur, she swore at the ebony cub, and pulled her maw from him.

His eyes blazed as he felt her teeth at his throat but instead of tugging away he tipped his head down and clamped his own small jaws around her ear, tugging sharply. He couldn't talk this time but he hoped it hurt enough so that maybe she'd back off.
It was time he was announced the winner.

Mbaya felt her ear crunch, but wrenching it away, she brought her paw foward again, slashing at the spot between his eyes swiftly, she felt the skin tear and laughed, despite the throbbing pain in her ear. Swearing at him again, she grinned, victory was staring her in the face.

Blood trickled into his eyes and he shook his face, swiping out blindly in hopes of making contact with her. He felt his claws brush against her but didn't know where it had been.
He staggered back, shaking his head and hanging it low to let the crimson fluid dribble down his nose and onto the ground in front of his paws.

Mbaya felt his paw strike her side and she was winded, feeling a stabbing pain in her side, between her ribs. Her hazel eyes filled with pain, though the anger was still visible. Digging her paws into the ground, she inhaled deeply, attempting to catch her breath.

Mawasii was beginning to sway on his feet. He was exhausted and for the first time since his encounter with Mbaya he wanted to just lie down and sleep...or have someone else enter the scene and stop their brawl.
The anger seeped away as pain and fatigue flooded him and he staggered forwards a step. "Idiot..." He muttered dully.

She could see the cub was tired, and though it seeped through her anger slightly, she still had a partial adrenalin rush, that could proove useful to end this battle. Swearing again, a string of colourful words flowed from her parted maw, some vile enough to offend even adults. Though she wasn't aiming to offend Mawasii. "That's the best language you've been taught." Her laugh rang out again, but trailed off when she found it wasted useful oxygen.
