Mot tried not to cower, his arms pressed tightly around his chest defensively. Why did he scare him? Why did everything scare him? Would working out really give him confidence in himself? Make him like himself again?
But this might be healthy. It scared him because it was a commitment to change. It scared him because he knew it would be hard, and it would hurt, physically and mentally. But burtal honesty was different, and something Mot sorely needed. Coddling would never bring him change.
Mot let out a shaky breath, outstretching a hand and taking up the hand of the shorter reaper. "Deal."

A handshake, and Mot's fate was sealed.
Mac's dark eyes shot down to the second coffee cup, and then back up to his - eugh - cousin. "First, however much of that s**t you drink now? Now you're only allowed to drink half." That stuff was bad; it kept you awake, and while some denizens of halloween didn't need to sleep, a training Reaper really needed the recharge time. "And I'll see you bright and early tomorrow morning, before class." Mac hadn't actually gotten up to train in a very long time. His work outs consisted of working on his boat, but for Mot he'd get back into very old habits.
"Nice chat, coz. Get some sleep tonight for once." His hands had slipped into his pockets and he took a step back, about to head to the door.

"Wh-- Bu---" He was so ready to complain about no coffee, but his argument was invalid. Besides, that would count as whining.
"Okay." Mac was being lenient really. He could have said no coffee allowed at all. But he didn't. Besides, if training was as demanding a task as he imagined, especially on a daily basis, he'd find little time to have it. Although he'd likely crave it afterward, what with workouts being tiring.
So then.. only three cups a day? That was about half.. He drank the stuff like water.
"Yeah. Nice chat." Sleep? How could he sleep knowing he'd just signed off on daily torture by Mac? He'd given him permission to bully him to the max. He had no issue with being up early, since he was often awake all night. For now, he washed out the mug and coffee pot. No night time mug of coffee for him it seemed.
