Attack
Larisk was again knocked to the ground by the dragon's powerful blow, and this time it took him longer to stumble to his feet. He would not give up! He had to be with his bonded and protect her! He tried to lunge past the dragon again, but slipped in a puddle of his own ichor, which was rapidly staining the sands beneath his feet. He hit the ground hard with a loud yelp.

Action/Attack How did a person respond to that? He frowned, and then answered uncertainly. Could she really have no idea? That was problematic. He had been under the assumption that their opponents knew what they had gotten themselves into, not that they would be fighting people who were just caught up in the whole mess. Hmm. "Oh, you know," he responded nonchalantly, "the one where the wherhandlers have decided that they need to take control of the Weyrs, and are doing it by force." He threw another punch towards her shoulder, unwilling to stop the fight, even if the girl might not know what she was doing. She did have a wher, and he wasn't really sure just how much she might be faking. ------------------ F'nell Hp: 3/30 Attack Damage: 6 +2= 8 (8 damage) Accuracy: 8-3= 5 (Hit )

Action/Attack Krith's eyes whirled in excitement. He liked to win, as much as he liked to play, and while this wasn't his preferred sort of sport, it was kind of fun. He slashed at the wher again, but with his rider's uncertainty in his head, missed, and then snarled. Defend
Laria stumbled another step back, not sure whether she could believe what the rider said. Why would the wherhandlers want to take over the weyrs? She hadn't heard anything about this. Sure, many of the others had been going on about how great whers were, how many things they could do and how they needed so much food and space than dragons, but surely that couldn't mean...could it?
Maybe this was why she hadn't wanted to think. Maybe she'd unconsciously realized something like this might be happening.
She flinched away from the rider's punch and threw her hands up to protect herself a little while she tried to figure out what was really going on.

Attack
What was the bad man doing to his bonded? He kept making her hurt worse and worse and now this pain was in her head and not her body and somehow that felt even worse. Larisk needed to make them stop so his bonded would be OK again. He pushed himself to his feet again, growling through the pain. He had to make it stop!
With a roar he lunged around the dragon at the bad man, lashing out with his claws as hard as he could

Action/ Defend Rider Krith swung as the wher lunged around him to attack F'nell, his tail catching most of the attack. It was painful, but he would do anything to protect his, and that would never change.

Action/Attack The very edge of the wher's claws had scraped him, and he lept over Krith's tail, kicking at Larisk. He had seen in the girl's eyes confusion, and with the wher actively attacking him, decided that going after him would be a better idea, even if his dragon might disapprove. I have him undercontrol, mine. Krith said. You worry about the girl.F'nell shook his head in amusement. Sometimes his dragon was rather predictable. Attack
Laria expected the rider to hit her again, but when he turned to attack Larisk her attention was drawn to the wher. He gasped at the sight of him dripping ichor from what seemed like every inch of him, limping and struggling to stand. Yet still he growled defiantly, struggling to get to her. Her eyes teared up at the sight of her loyal wher, hurt so badly because of someone else's rebellion and a misunderstanding.
"Leave Larisk alone!" she shrieked, rushing at the rider to try and push him away from her wher. She missed as she stumbled in the sand. Unable to regain her balance on the slick, shifting surface, she fell over and collapsed at the rider's feet.

Larisk was tossed to the ground by the rider's kick, yelping as he crashed to the sand. He struggled back to his feet again, but he was taking longer and longer to do so. Still he growled constantly, telling the bad-man and mean-dragon in no uncertain terms that he would not give up until his bonded was safe!
With a snarl he started to head for the rider in a shambling rush. But he was startled when his bonded falling so near, which caused him to shoot wide of his mark. He glanced over to her, rumbling in a worried way at seeing her so hurt and unhappy. Then he tried back to the rider, growling once more.

Action/Attack While his dragon was unconcerned, F'nell was torn. He wanted to help the poor girl, but, they were still the enemy. What to do? Attack the wher. Krith suggested helpfully. He wants to hurt you. F'nell nodded. That was probably a good idea. He kicked at the wher again, ignoring the girl. Defending Larisk
Laria saw the rider hesitate a little, but he still swing at Larisk. She scrambled to her feet and threw herself in the way to protect her wher. She grunted at the impact, then shrieked, "Leave us alone! We're only fighting because you attacked us first!" She realized that wasn't entirely true for Larisk and added, "Larisk is just worried for me. Back off and he'll stop!" At least, she desperately hoped she'd be able to call the wher off, once it was obvious she was in no danger.
