Melody grinned shyly at the male. He was very interesting. "Can you tell me more about yourself?" She asked.

Rei sighed. "There is really not much to tell. I'm a traveler. I find it difficult to stay in one place, and haven't found anything to keep me somewhere until now." He looked her square in the face, hoping she would understand this one.

Melody looked around, not completely getting Andreios's point. "The canyon is where you've decided to stay? Well then! We'll be neighbors! I can come visit you all the time!" She said with a bubbly happiness that made her body bounce just a bit.

Melody cocked her head to the side and backed up softly.. "You don't want me Rei..." She said softly, a strange sadness crossing her eyes.

Melody sighed and shook her head sadly, her eyes welling with tears. How could she explain that she had children.. but that their father took them from her and she willingly let him? She was not fit to be a mother in the first place... Too spacey and stupid to know what to do with them... thats why she had let Damir take them... No male would want a female who didn't know the first thing about babies.

Andreois cocked his head at the female and took a few steps towards her. Nuzzling her neck, his eyes were sad. "What is it Melody?"

Melody sighed and leaned into Andreois's nuzzle."I have children... With another's mate... Not only that, but I let him take the children from me.." She couldn't look the handsome azrein in the eyes. "I let him take them because I will never be a good mother...

Andreios nudged the mare. "Maybe you just weren't ready to be a mother yet, Mel. I'm sure if you find him, he'll let you see them." He said comfortingly.

Melody shook her head. "I do not want to see them, Rei..." She said softly. "I would not know the first thing to do with a child... I hardly know the first thing to do with another that is my age..." She said softly, her eyebrows furrowed.

Rei took a few steps back and looked at Melody's face. "Melody, I'm not saying that anything like that has to happen between us. I like you. You're sweet, funny, interesting, and nice to be around. If nothing more, I would like to just be your friend. Though I would like to be more also, but if that isn't possible, I understand." His voice was calm and understand, his eyes mirroring that.

Melody whimpered inside her head. She really liked this smart stallion.. she would like to try to have more with him.. but she really didn't think she could raise any children. "I am not smart enough to raise children..." She announced softly
