"Either sounds fine." She moved, settling back upon her hooves and shaking her mane clean. "I am content with either choice. Perhaps we might even find more snacks along the way?"

Lirona nodded gratefully. She wasn't quite done with her night... She was looking forward to a little more one-on-one time with Star. "That's a good idea. It's always best to know as many sources of food as possible." Then she aimed her nose home, and started off. "This way~"
While they walked, she glanced over at Star. "So.. how far back can you remember? You don't remember family, but do you remember being a child at all?"

"When I was a filly... I remember wandering a bit, and then the dessert suddenly feeling cold..." She frowned. "I felt a touch of the magics...Tired.... pain in my head and waking up near water. I think it was a lake of some kind?" The mare wasn't sure anymore. "It's very fuzzy."

A frown turned Lirona's lips as well. To be just a little filly, all alone... How horrible. She would have asked what this magic was that kept getting mentioned, but she figured that even Star didn't know. "You've come through a lot then." She said, looking around their surroundings. Everything was green right now. "So, you used to live in a desert? Do you remember what that was like? I've heard of it, but I've never been to one."

"Very...hot and dry, windy... " she tilted her head. "It's fine if you are so used to it, and know where to find water and how to ration it... Cold nights though. Very cold."

Lirona wrinkled her nose slightly. "That sounds like a rough place to live." She commented. "I suppose you're right though. If you're used to it, it's just home." She looked around at the leafy green plants surrounding them. "I like it here. It's what I'm used to. ...My old home was similar to this."
(( By the way, do you have a territory preference for them to be in? ))

"It is lovely." Star looked up and around, ears flicking as she listened to the silence of the night. "And it is so....quiet...peaceful... no war or anger." It helped her feel content that moment, her hooves settling more easily into the grass, legs less tense.
(( not really c: ))

Lirona smiled and nodded. "It is very peaceful right now. I'm sure it can get loud at times, but for now it's wonderful." As she spoke, she felt something within herself relax as well. Perhaps she was finally starting to accept her new home.. "Father and I are still looking for a place to settle. Perhaps it will be near here."
(( I shall ponder this then~ ))

"Wherever you choose to stay, I will be honored to join you.... wandering is not at all preferred." She sighed softly, eyes shutting. "So much has to be learned about this home...to have a familiar place would be nice."

Lirona perked her ears, glancing over at Star. Yes... They would all get along very well, so she thought. "No. I don't like wandering either." She agreed. Spying another bush of berries, she lagged off toward the new bush to inspect it, looking back to Star with a smile. "Well, at least we'll all be learning about it together."

"It is good to learn together." Star followed after, ears twitching. "They are safe... look at this here." She touched a half eaten berry as well as many seeds on the ground. "It seems that they are appreciated by many." A few branches were even missing further in.

Looking where Star pointed out, Lirona nodded in relief. More berries to eat! It looked like a very popular bush. She reached out and plucked off a plump berry to taste, and inadvertantly gave a groan of approval. "I can see why these are getting eaten up." She said with a little smirk at herself.

"There may be more found around then." She nodded, looking around, spotting a few with the same coloring not far off as well as some small nests of creatures. "I hope my presence doesn't startle your father. Id' not like to cause any discomfort."

Lirona looked around as well for more of the yummy berries, spotting them here and there. Tail twitching at Star's worry, she couldn't help but to suddenly chuckle. "He might be startled if he wakes up with you sleeping there, but he'll get over it once I explain things and once he meets you. You can count on that."

"Alright." She nodded. "I might know a few places to settle. I'll be glad to show you and he in the morning when you feel as though it's fine." Her head bowed and she looked to the sky. "There is also a curious creature I found.... odd little thing that is rather enjoyable to watch."
