Danny looked back at Amphi before remembering she had to face right. Gosh darnit these rules were hard!
Not to mention Danny was getting fidgety. She'd never been good at sitting still for long, and it had easily been about 10 minutes by this point. It was just too much waiting. Too much!
"I ... I dunno. Roch said so though, so I'm sure he knows what he's doing!"
Hopefully he did, or they'd all be doomed.

Roch pulled out his phone, speed dialing Danny. "Yo," he said. "If you want me to find you, you gotta holler back," he told her, not even asking why she wasn't yelling. Danny made no sense most of the time--"NOT into the phone," he added quickly. "So hang up and start shouting--in THAT order."
Then he hung up, just in case she didn't do it right.

Amphi agreed and waited then.
"Okay I hope he finds us soon though...." she started to braid her hair, as they waited.

Danny picked up her phone and listen. Hang up, and then shout. Got it go it. Danny lightly tapped her phone, and then looked at Amphi.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH."

Roch showed up a few seconds later, a dryly amused expression on his face. "You can stop yelling," he told Danny. "C'mon, the path is this way. Jack, you'da thought you of all people would know how to get to the maul." Then he glanced at Amphi. Stared at her for half a second.
Then turned to lead the way to the path. Because he was a good little best friend, and he'd been told to do this. Besides... they WERE lost, the ditzes.

Amphi jumped as Danny started yelling, about to reach to calm her down before blinking. Oh Roch was here!
"Hello-" Her voice cut off as he turned on his heel, only acknowledging Danny. She frowned as she pushed herself up, finishing her braid and then following the two.
She waited till she caught up with the reaper, stepping in front of him and holding out her hand.
"Are you being a bully again Roch?"
Because Amphi wouldn't stand for it. :'|

"Of course I know how to get to the maul!" Danny insisted. Of course she did. "I was just showing Amphi how great the woods were. YOU WERE SO FOOLED."
Either way, she had her arm linked around his like a puppy with their leash. "Y'wanna come dress shopping with us?" she asked, her eyes all lit up and excited, "Ooooh Amphi he should come, don't you think?"

"Bully?" Roch repeated blankly, shoving his still damp (and still fallen) hair back behind one ear. "How the jack does stopping my shower and racing out here to save you two make me a bully? Unless you're talkin' about the time I super wedgied Rikki, or the time I tried to mug JD, or the time I--" He seemed to have quite a list of times he'd bullied people.
For the moment he was ignoring Danny, because the whole dress shopping thing seemed like a vision of hell on Halloween in his mind.

"Yes! Are you...Emotionally bullying me?" She cocked her head up at the reaper, "You didn't say hello, and that's rude." She puffed her cheek before deflating, choosing instead to cling to Danny's arm.
"it's fine! Thana said I should stay away from you...but your my friend even if you don't want to be so...soo...." she stopped and then stared at Danny and then pointed at Roch. "Come dress shopping with us Roch! I think you should! Yes!"
Suddenly she was very happy at the idea. More friends to help her pick out a dress!
"Also I was the one that got Danny lost, I wasn't paying attention and...the woods were pretty...yes."

"Dress shopping! Dress shopping!" Danny chanted, clearly ecstatic that Amphi was siding with her. This was probably one of the first times she'd met someone who went along with all her plans so willingly.
Also she was very happy to be in the middle of this arm chain. "Also Roch don't be a butt. Say hi to Amphi!"

"Lemme think about this one," Roch said, frowning slightly as he evaluated the situation. "If I say yes, I'm bullying you, will you stop chasing me? Because honestly, this doesn't even rate on my real bullying skills, but, hell, if it works!" Unwittingly he was going along as Danny tugged him.
"But then again, I think YOU'RE bullying ME," he decided, sounding quite satisfied with that conclusion. "You chase me around into dangerous areas without a clue, you dragged me out into the middle of a lake when I ain't that great a swimmer, and now you're callin' me names! But hell, my own best friend uses me as a punching bag practically daily--so THAT makes me think I might be a bit of a masochist--" Roch was going into the circle of thinking that always got a bit too strange.
And then he realized-- "Danny, I don't even WEAR dresses, why should I shop for one?"

"I am not the bully." Amphi frowned. "But I still need a dress. And Danny needs a dress. So you should help us pick out one."
And that was all she would offer till they got there. She was in.....

Danny looked at the wibble in horror. She immediately let go of Roch's arm and surrounded the ghoul in a big Danny hug, boobs included.
"Awwwwwwwwwwwwww Roch look at her little face! Don't make her sad!" She put Amphi's face between her hands and directed it at Roch. "Look at those sad little eyes! Don't they just say 'Hey Roch! Please come dressing shopping with us, I love you soooo much!!'"
She let out a hearty sigh and now moved to put an arm around Roch's shoulder. "C'mon Roch. Do it for the adorable little mermaid." Now she was mirroring Amphi's sad little eyes.
COULD ROCH TAKE A DOUBLE PUPPY DOG EYE STARE???

It totally depended on who was GIVING him the double puppy eyes. For a moment Roch stood there, seeming unmoving. The wind ruffled his hair, shamelessly taunting him that he'd failed to fix his hair before coming. That meant he would be going into PUBLIC with his hair not fixed--for these two ditzes. And Danny was NOT helping with the "I love you sooooo much" line, he thought, his expression getting even darker.
"She just called me a bully," he pointed out to Danny, sounding much like a little kid tattling. (Side bonus? Danny was giving off enough heat to dry him off a bit faster.) "And you realize, I'd probably stick you both in leather and studs just because it'd be funny," he told them, an evil grin on his face.

Amphi only flushed as Danny surrounded her in a warm tight embrace and let her arms surround the taller ghoul, holding as if Danny was her life line.
She let Danny do the convincing though, even as her face was squished to prove a point. She pushed the ghoul's arms down after a second before her frowned deepened more.
Never had Amphi frowned more. Danny was amazing but...But Roch. She had all the confused feels about Roch and how to act around him now. Especially with Thana's warning.
"It's okay, Roch probably thinks I have...cooties and Thana said your a bully because...um...Things. Thana has never lied to me." She sighed, and then stepped back up to the Reaper, reaching up to pull on his cheek. "Does that mean you'll come!?!?"
