Uchiha Koto "Your first cut..."

"God this smells like than Sessouresu's attitude!" Koto exclaimed upon smell the foul liquid. Not wanting to get the putrid substance on his clothes he grabbed a broken piece of his coffin and used it to wipe away as much of the putrid goo as he could... the smell would obviously take some time to get rid of... And then there was the ominous looking tree that seemed to use the fruit as bait in order to ensnare anyone fool enough to try and climb it...normally Koto would've walked away but he was rather hungry...
"Decisions, decisions..." he said aloud as if conversing with the tree...
He took a look at the tree... then the fruit... then back to the tree... sadly the fruit was very much a part of the tree, but if he could figure out a way to get the fruit without climbing the tree then the fruit would (technically) be apart of him...for a while at least.
He figured a direct aproach would get him the best results and he produced a kunai from his sleeve. With little ceremony he threw it up and heard the sound of it striking it's intended target. in a moment one of the fruits came down and landed in his hand, though he almost dropped it a combination of hunger and the poison impairing his senses somewhat. He pull the kunai out and looked at the fruit...he had decide to call it a blood pear...he had no other name for it and it sounded as good as any other. He considered the possiblity of it being poisonous or toxic and figured he had a few weeks to live at most if this test didn't end soon. His life was just a risk in general this would either be status quo or the nail in the coffin...
On that note he took his first bite...

The minute that Koto bit into the fruit his mouth was greeted with a citrus-like taste that entered his mouth, it was slightly sweet but not over powering, the meat on it was thick and its juices rolled down his chin when his teeth sank into it. The closest thing to describe the taste would be like eating a peach without the fuzzy surface of it. It chewed easily, nothing in Koto’s mind would scream ‘wrong’ so it was safe to say that it wasn’t poisonous. He could potentially make a meal out of these fruits if he so chose.
The tree and the vines did nothing as Koto tested out his acquired fruit, the only thing that was in the area was the echoing silence of the island.

Uchiha Koto "Your first cut..."

"Well...not dead yet so if they kill me down the line at least I'll be full... I'd better stock up on these before I move on...and keep an eye out for more of these Blood Pear trees..." he said as he set about the task of harvesting more of the fruit in a similar manner as before...however as the poison in his system did it's work he noticed it was becomeing more and more difficult to hit the fruit as acurately as he would've liked in the end he managed to aquire 7 more plus the first one...which he'd eaten already.
He ate two more tucked three under his armor with his spare flute for later. He removed the hand made spare flute from it's resting place for two reasons. First it was uncomfortable in there with the fruit and second...he needed to do something to take his mind off of the growing discomfort in his body...and so he played... thinking back to the first time he played for Senri...she seemed calm... the first time an Uchiha had appreciated him for more than being able to wield a blade...
He continued moving letting his heart beat, irregular as it was becoming, provide a rhythm to his notes....
"...should be your last" Reminiscing in a dark land...

Beyond the campfire's reach you could just feel the presence of something terrible.
The area was livid with malice and killing intent. To cross the threshold into a domain where light was so fickle and subject to the will of the dark was a task that was beyond daunting.
What lurked in the darkness beyond the campfire could only be guessed at... A rigid pathway lie ahead of Sessouresu.

"Bitterness is a Cancer, It eats Upon the host..."
(Told Not to Roll this Post)
As Sessou walked up to the campfire, he approached with a hand on his sword. Ready to act in case the.... figure, who was there did anything. However as he neared the person who was at the fire didn't move. "Hey, Sack of s**t, you alive?" As he said that the boy remained with his hand on the hilt of his sword..... nope, nothing....
Knowing that the only inhabitant of this little Camp was dead. Sessouresu turned his attention to the more pressing matters at hand; this sickening vibe he was feeling past this little encampment. It was familiar..... or at least it felt like it, then again most the people in his class wanted him dead for one reason or another; so it was actually a pretty normal feeling.
Just as the boy started to walk out of the camp he gave a slight pause,... 'better make sure' As he thought that he turned, quickly drew it and stabbed the sitting figure in Center mass..... Yeah no movement, it was dead all right; and he couldn't even look for supplies, whoever had killed him would have either taken all the supplies or tampered with them and left a trap of some sort. At least that's what Sessou would have done.
With that he returned his sword to its place once more and headed deeper into the woods, towards this ohhh so familiar and sickening feeling. An interested Grin spread on his face, this should be fun. Even with all these side effects.

Center stage was a large bloody pond with a tiny island in the middle of it. A tree sat in the middle the island, but that was all there was room for. Beneath the tree, Just beyond the reaches of the light, Senri's body was cast entirely in shadows. Her figure hangs from a set of three inch thick chakra strings. Some were a bit smaller than others, but there was a marginally bigger one wrenched in the back of her neck where her brain stem would be. She seemed to be in a state of comatose, and the chakra strings acted as her source of sustainment, but they are all linked to something terrible. Her body had a radioactive glow to it, like her body was one big chakra server, and there was a whole network of chakra actively being poured in her body and out into the island. Like a heart pumping blood through the body. Damned. Watch the masses fall. Burn it down, control 'em all! The voices in my head suggest a less than peaceful side. "Bitterness is a Cancer, It eats Upon the host..."
(Told Not to Roll this Post)
It wasn't long before Sessou walked up to a somewhat strange pond,... it was red, almost as though it was filled with Blood. Though he wasn't really one to care how things looked; it seemed fairly out of place (Even more so than a pond of blood would be) seeing as how everything else in this forest was blueish and greenish, however this was just.... red.
It was interesting until Sessou took his first step onto the pebble path that led to the tree in the center; that was when a clearing in the branches opened and he saw her.... Sessouresu paused as he did so, not saying anything but his eye twitched slightly. Only for a grin to appear on his face, and the sound of boots on stone accompanied by a sickeningly loud crack of knuckles as he started walking once more.
As he reached the island in the middle Sessou crossed his arms and inspected the girl.... "Senri....." Nothing "Ohhhh Seeeeeeenri" Nope still nothing. After getting no reply Sessou walked up to the pretty much cloth-less girl who sat there; IV's and wires connected to a good portion of her body. "Can you do me a favor" He said sweetly as he crouched in front of the girl. His left hand grabbing her by the jaw, turning her head so she would be looking directly as him if her eyes were to open. While the other hand grabbed the largest IV/Clamp rooted at the base of her Neck.
"And Wake the ******** UP" With that the silence was broken by his voice echoing, and a sicking sound made by the IV being ripped from its place.
As the girls eyes opened Sessou smiled at her. "Ohhh welcome back sleepy head" He said still holding her by the Jaw in place so she was looking directly at him. "Get this thing off of me" As he said that his smile vanished and he once again was acting like his normal self; glare and all.

Her awareness had finally kicked in, followed by an agonizing pain in the back of her neck. She choked back the urge to scream out of pain so all that came out was a small whimper. 'That would leave a mark..' It took her a moment to follow up on what this person was demanding, and she realized what had happened once her vision cleared. Sessouresu was here...and he looked pissed as hell, which she could understand why, considering the amount of s**t she was putting everybody through. Anger followed and she sent him the same glare and clenched her jaw so he could feel it. "Oh...hello there....I guess...I should have figured...this would happen." She sighed weakly. The karma left a bitter taste in her mouth, much like the cold sensation that prickled her skin. 's**t, it was cold.'
Like hell she'd let him get his way. "And if I don't? What if I happened to have...forgotten how?" Senri was always like this. Stubborn should have been her middle name. She was always the hardest to pry information from, and forget about asking her for a favor. It was like pulling teeth from a baby. Though in this case she knew he wasn't asking. He was demanding her to take the device off. It wasn't going to be easy, and she wasn't willing to tell him. They were at a standoff.

It was a few moments before Senri was able to actually function and figure out what was going on, but once it clicked she went to being stubborn rather then just doing what they both knew she was going to in the end. "Because its you, you are not some bumbling fool who simply forgets things" As he said that the boy let go of Senri's Jaw and stood up in front of her, Tilting his head to one side then the other letting out a few cracks.
"You either have something on you that is an antidote, a device to get this off, or you know how to do it Via Jutsu or some sort" As he said this he crossed his arms and looked down at her. "Remember the threat I gave you the first time you poisoned me and hid the antidote? That threat still stands, and with the outfit you are wearing currently there aren't many open options" With that he simply remained looking down at her. "Your move" He said before putting up three fingers.... then taking it down to two..... then one.......

You know...something about this situation was very familiar. Senri thought to herself before she briefly considered telling Sessouresu to just walk away. As much as she liked him, she knew he wasn't getting any points for standing here, bantering about with her. He probably knew that too...
Senri was blown away once again. All she could do was send him a disbelieving stare and gasp. "Tch. You wouldn't-" She stopped herself just in time to reconsider. She remembered last time. He totally would and there was nothing she could do to avoid it, unless.... Senri shifted uncomfortably and averted her gaze from him. "Well that's too bad then...'cause I'm not going to..." Her eyes trailed over to his fingers...
'He was counting.....HOLY s**t HE WAS COUNTING! NO! NO-NO!' "H-Hold on a second!" She squirmed in a panic, trying to untangle herself from the IVs that were now wrapped around her figure from moving around so much. Eventually she just gave up and lunged at him like a rabid spring, hooking her arms around his neck. It was a legit hug, but there was meaning behind it. The locket around her neck tugged and pulled at it's restraint until it connected with Sesouresu's device. It was a magnet of some sort? No, more like a conductor. Her chakra surged through the magnet and poured into the device on his neck, 'causing it to react violently and short circuit. The sound of the needles clinking against the ground was sure way to tell the device was no longer threatening his life.
...She probably meant to headbutt him, but tripped or something.
"You sssuck. You know that?" Senri grumbled, obviously somebody was a poor sport. "You're lucky we're friends...or I would have killed you or something.." She motioned to pull out of her half-assed embrace, but couldn't muster the strength to step back, much less stand. So she settled with letting herself drop to the ground with a dead thud. She just...felt....so tired...

Sessou stood there watching the girl continue to attempt to defy him, however it was clear the moment that she saw his fingers and that he was counting that she quickly changed her mind. Looks like she knew it wasn't a bluff; not like she could have resisted anyways in her current condition; shes just lucky it wasn't Haruki or Koto who found her rather than himself.
However Sessouresu hadn't expected the HUG that he got from her. He most likely would have reacted to it, but instead he winced and tensed his body as the Needles that were already injected into his neck suddenly shot out. "Son of a b***h" He growled as he looked down at Senri; watching the collar as it fell to the ground..... followed by Senri. "You shouldn't lay on the ground, You will catch a cold down there" He said rubbing his neck lightly, a few droplets of blood smearing as he did so.
Before he could say anything else Sessouresu took his coat off and Tossed it literally on top of the girl who was still squirming around on the ground. "Put some damn cloths on" He said before crouching down and picking the Collar up off of the ground, and attaching it to the strap of the metal container handing on his shoulder. "Also you're lucky were friends, I gave you the chance to change your mind" With that the boy turned and stepped onto the stone path once more, starting back into the woods.

"Let no good deed go unpunished,"Umbra Uchiha Umbra ghosted along with a bag in her hand, she had been busy swapping things out, digging and putting wooden boxes in the earth, she used these to place various thing inside, some had a some medical supplies, the basic stuff like antiseptic, gauze, some pain killers and what have you… pretty basic first aid supplies. Some of the boxes were rigged with traps, some with a little food, others had tainted medical supplies and others still had water. Umbra was actually having a little fun with this, and what she had in her bag now was something that she was particularly fond of, the circular object squirmed and writhed in the bag a little as they moved on, Umbra did her best to keep it out of the light, lest it draw attention to itself, that was one thing that she didn’t want to have happen at this point. The forest was eerily still, spare the movements of Umbra, graceful and silent compared to the poison addled participants of the Exam.
Umbra hoped this wasn’t going to be her exam when the year rolled around, she’d better make a note to try and figure out a way that would give her an advantage with this sort of scenario when she actually got the chance to train a little.
When Umbra found a box for her little trap, she opened the wooden square and took out the first aid kit that was inside and carefully prepared to place what was in the back to its new residence. With quick movements she transferred her bagged ‘treasure’ into the dark box and quickly shut the lid. Making sure it was closed properly before she raised her fingers into the tiger sign and releasing the temporary seal. There was a soft hiss before silence once more took the area around her. She closed her eyes and gave a soft sigh. She looked down at the snake that was still wrapped around her neck like a fashion accessory.”Not a bad run, huh? Shall we take a short break?” Umbra asked as she made her way towards where they were going to get their next batch of supplies and poisons. She stretched out for a moment before turning her gaze back to serpent, Sylne was a quite one, but she seemed to share a bit of Umbra’s cruelty, she seemed rather mused when Umbra made suggestions for where to bury some of the others, all the traps she was busy setting up seemed to earn some sort of mute approval by the beautiful serpent coiled around her shoulders."Let no evil deed go unrewarded."

~Fire is my soul.....~ After Takeo finished spewing whatever was left in his stomach out onto the ground, he brushed his face off with his arm and studied his surroundings as he attempted to recover from his fit of nausea. The area around him was eerie, like that of a ghost town. Only this ghost town had been one for a while and now strange glowing moss was growing on the remains of the buildings. He figured they were buildings though he could only make out shapes through the fog. He took a deep breath of air and it brought a few things to his attention. One, the air was slightly moist and damp, like the smell of rotting wood. Fire would be an interesting force to unleash in this condition. On second thought he was trying to survive and be one of the two chunin so maybe lighting a freaking torch signal for his teammates to see wasn't a great idea. He would need to find something to take care of his now empty stomach soon too. The nauseous feeling had passed. For now. He wasn't sure how this poison worked so it could have several different symptoms at a time or he would just add new ones as time passed. He really hoped it was the the former and not the latter. The nausea was enough to deal with.
Standing up, a noise caused him to freeze and turn towards a building. Something or someone was sobbing from inside. It was heart wrenching to hear and Takeo's first instinct was to rush to see what the commotion was about. As he began to move, Senri's words flashed in his mind. You cannot help your friends here....only two people are destined to pass this test, they are your enemy. So abandon that hope....or you will never pass the last segment. As much as it hurt him to do so, he couldn't fail this exam so that meant leaving this poor soul to his fate......whatever it was. On the other hand, this sobbing individual might have something he could use. If he snuck up and took it by surprise maybe his terrible situation could be fixed or at least alleviated a bit. With this thought, he began to sneak up to the house that he was sure the sound was coming from.
As he approached, he noticed that his body was weary and it took more strength to move than he normally did. He was already feeling fatigued as he took cover near a window. Was this because I just threw up? Or is this part of the poison too? He pressed on through it, but it was becoming a burden to move quietly towards his goal. It took him longer than it should have before he reached the spot he was aiming for. Kneeling down to hide himself, he peaked in to search for the source of the noise.~..........and it burns brighter than yours.~

Senri was taken aback at first. She suspected he would have kicked the crap out of her and left, but she didn't expect him to give her his coat instead. That would imply that he cared- even if it was under the context of her lack of clothing.
She gave a half-smile and weaseled her way into the coat so she was wearing it properly. Which was twice as hard considering she had the IV's snapping and tearing at her skin. It wasn't too bad though. A medic nin would come by and re-apply everything promptly after. They'd have to work around the jacket though...
Senri couldn't help but make a soft chuckle before she started drifting off again. "Better stay alive...so I can thank you later..." It was warm...so...warm. She nuzzled into the jacket and drifted back into her mini-coma.

"Bitterness is a Cancer, It eats Upon the host..."
As Sessou returned back to the woods he started his search for anyone else in the area; While he had the collar off the effects of the poison that had already been injected in him would still be a constant hindrance, at least he didn't need to worry about it getting any worse than it already was...
As he continued through the woods the boy noticed something off, one of the tree's had what looked like a blood splatter on it, meaning someone had either been killed here; or attacked in some way. While It wasn't quite what he had intended to find when he looked for someone else it was at least a sign; and his job was currently to take as many people out of the exam while they still attempted to find there footing and before they managed to form teams of any kind.
There wasn't really much of a trail; but with the aid of his Sharingan Sessou managed to find signs of the direction the person had gone; well, at first it seemed like a single person, but as he walked it looked more and more like there was more than one; at least two. So there was either a pair together already or someone was holding a hostage, didn't matter to him either way; two people meant two targets.
As he walked Sessou only activated his Sharingan when he couldn't find the trail he was following, and he would turn it off once more after he had found it.
The path was cold and wet; dew was forming on some of the tree limbs and the further he walked the more he had regretted leaving his coat with Senri; though if it was bothering him, that spoiled little Medusa would have been miserable.
Shrugging the annoyance of the cold off he continued trudging through the foliage, that was until he heard voices up ahead;... two of them; and they both sounded familiar,.... this was going to be interesting.
