((I had thought all along that the purpose of this particular reunion was to bring the 4 siblings into contact with their new siblings, so meeting up with Savina after she has had them just makes sense. We'd have to invite the other owners to join us once we meet up, and explain to them what we are doing so they all know they need to be with Savina when we arrive. As for bringing Freezia into the mix, I don't think I'm going to do that. She was not a willing participant in the mating with Razien, and she has not told her colts who their father is. So she really has no reason to be in the story.))

Raz agreed with his younger brothers statement concerning the next watch. The sun was indeed coming up, and though he was not required to check in with his replacement, he didn't want whoever it was finding him with his other two brothers. Eri seemed agreeable to them going to find their parents, as he hadn't even waited to see if the rest of them were too. He simply headed off, expecting them all to follow. He let out a silent laugh and turned to follow him. "Come on then. It would seem Eri is going to take the lead for now. We can talk more as we walk."

(Yeah I wouldn’t ask Exa to bring Gene in either. Eri and she just had foals, but Eri doesn’t know yet ^.^ )

Eri heard his brother Nasu bouncing lightly once on the ground. He figured that Nasu would be excited and follow him even if the others wouldn’t. Then of course it would be less troublesome for Raz to deal with explaining one brother rather than two. Still he was glad when the others seems ready enough to come along. It would make the journey less boring with others to speak with. He chuckled at Karit. “Yes brother we know the lands quite well. After all we lived our lives traveling it.” He smiled thinking back on his travels. He really would have to go and see Gene again. He snorted to Raz’s comment. He really wasn’t much of a leader. A least he really didn’t see himself in that position.

[[Oooo... okay. Dea shall be RPing Jolana and so that makes me RPing four azrein. D:]]

He seriously didn't mind leaving right now. That means a quicker escape from Voltarie and a quicker encounter with his mother. It just felt odd leaving the only place that he had ever really actually got acquainted with, though he never felt like if he belonged in these lands. Just placing his hooves onto the grass of neutrality, a more warm feeling crept into his heart. It felt more like the warming sunshines that he had desired. They were now a somewhat herd of brothers.

Following his brothers, Karit decided to remain in the back. What was more useful than having a lead and a rear that knew the lands by heart? That way if they were to ever split up somehow, the other brother would know where to know next. "I just can't wait to see the view of the castle's top once again. It'll have to mean that Flighty and Savina are nearby there, or so I would think."
PostPosted: Wed Jun 27, 2012 8:43 pm

"View of the castle?", asked Raz. He had no desire to go anywhere near the King's castle, and neither should Nasu. If they were caught anywhere near the king's lands by the Azrein who were aligned with him, their lives would be forfeit. "If mother and father are anywhere near Azreth's castle, I will be taking my leave of you. And Nasu, I would recommend you do the same, no matter how much you want to see our parents. Going into the king's lands is too dangerous right now for you and I. Let us hope that mother and father are distant enough that we will not see any sign of the king's castle."

He was able to see his brother's logic and reasoning. Why hadn't he thought about that situation before when he had already went over the idea of what if he was found in Raz's and Nasu's land? It was like the same thing. The two would not do there. "Father should be more wise than my idea too..." he muttered, still unable to recollect his statement.

"Or.. how about we uhh... try travelling thee the center of the Isle? That way we are still in neutral lands, so we'd have nothing to worry about except for those wandering herds and Azrein?" he suggested.

He did long for his mother's warm breath again, but Razien was right. There was no way that he would risk his own life to enter the kingdom. But the thought of his mother possibly being there made him confused, so he simply looked at Eri for he was leading them to wherever they would be headed to, after all.

"Sticking to the neutral lands is a plan I can go along with. Eri, what say you brother? Shall we steer clear of the King's lands and try to find mother and father in neutral territory first? Perhaps looking near our birthplace would be a good starting point. If they are not with mother's herd, then someone there may know where they are."

He was really hoping that their father would be nowhere around when they found their mother. There would be too many questions asked by Flighty if he were to find both Nasu and himself that far north. Things were beginning to brew in the South, and for those like Nasu and him, being away from those aligned with the Six could spell trouble for them. He didn't relish the idea of a fight, especially if he was commanded to fight fellow Azrein. Even if they weren't aligned with the Six, they were still brothers of a sort. He might even be expected to kill his own brothers and mother, simply because they did not side with the Six. He knew deep within that he would die before taking the life of one of them.

Eri looked back to his brothers and smiled. He had never even thought to take them into the king’s lands. He thought that he might find their mother in neutral lands and if he couldn’t then he could travel to the king’s lands while his brothers hid in neutral lands and waited while Eri brought their mother to them. “Trust me brother I would not put your lives up to forfeit. One of the advantages to having no alliance to any great power. I live by my own code and will. I thought I would start where I last saw mother in neutral lands. It is near enough to our birthplace so that would be one of the better places to start. ” He really couldn’t fault his brothers’ logic. He thought for a moment about the repercussions of traveling with two evil aligned Azrein, even if they were his brothers. A small smile graced his face. “If we run into any Azrein who have come from the king’s lands into neutral lands we really don’t need to speak of your choice of alignment and if they try to guess there is a way around it. If we have one of us who seems to be a leader such as Karit and he answers neutral then a simple assumption is that all in our party are neutral. Being in neutral lands few would question further. Or you could simply lie.” He didn’t really like suggesting such a thing so easily, but he figured it was worth pointing out. Eri didn’t mention that he would lie without remorse to protect his family.

"Well, I suppose if we had known of your intentions beforehand, I wouldn't have had those concerns. As it is, your plan is a sound one, and I heartily agree with it. As for lying, I have no problem with that Eri. I've learned that those aligned with the Six are consummate liars, so I have no trouble lying to them if need be. I will trust in your ability to locate our mother, and if necessary, wait in a safe place while you go in search of her, should travel in the King's lands be necessary."

Lie? Weren't stallions to be true? Then again, he went over the circumstances. Either someone dies or kills, or they all lie to live. He was content with the idea of lying now, for it was the one that sounded the most logical. "Yeah. Me and Raz would wait for you two somewhere safe if needed."

He admired his brothers' words. Words of a true stallion.. well, they all were, but they showed true loyalty to the family. In the beginning, he would have imagined Raz or even Nasu to report him and Eri, which they haven't. "Yes, alignments aren't much of a thing to worry about where Eri and I are from. Many just come and go."
PostPosted: Mon Jul 02, 2012 9:52 am

Eri only smiled to himself. He supposed Raz’s words held more of a sting of truth than the other stallion suspected. Eri rarely spoke all of his mind. It made some conversations harder than they had to be. He mentally kicked himself for not elaborating more for his brothers. He only nodded his head to Raz’s and Nasu’s words. He understood the thoughts since he had them himself. “Still it would better that we ran into no one in the first place.” Eri looked around at the surrounding terrain while he traveled. If he saw anyone be they human or Azrein he would try and hide the others if he could.

Karitoriki knew that what he was about to say next did not relate to their situation, but he did not want to just continue standing here. He was to be in the rear after all. "Come on." he said. "We might find a familiar on our journey."
PostPosted: Mon Jul 09, 2012 6:28 pm

Karit's comment made Raz laugh silently to himself. Familiars were the last thing on his mind at the moment, but his brother was right. They needed to keep moving, or they risked being discovered.

"Eri, lead the way, and let's not waste anymore time. We should find mother, and hopefully father as soon as possible. We'll be safer with them, than out here on our own." Turning to the youngest brother he said, "Nasu, don't wander off. Stick close to Karit and me, and whatever you do, don't go chasing rabbits."

Not that Nasu made a habit of chasing rabbits, but he thought it might lighten the mood if his brothers thought he did.

"Rabbits, brother?" snickered Karitoriki.

Nasu laughed. Of course Raz was joking, but why would Karit be taking this seriously?
PostPosted: Wed Jul 11, 2012 4:56 pm

A familiar? Eri chuckled at that. He wasn’t sure if he wanted a familiar to follow him around. While it would be nice to have a messenger it really wasn’t something that was important to him. Still amused he nodded to Raz “Of course, follow me brothers.” He wasn’t certain how long it would take to find his father and mother, but he would do his best to guide his family. He heard what Raz said to Nasu and tried unsuccessfully to stifle a laugh. Choking it back made it hard to breathe but it did keep him from bursting out in laughter at his brother. He could just see his brother chasing down rabbits. Perhaps like Karit he wished for a familiar? “Tell us brother do you keep them when you chase them down?” Oh this trip would be most amusing indeed.

"Oh.. I rarely see them at home, but when I stay away from Voltaire to have some alone time, I'd find some sometimes near the cliffs. But I do sometimes talk to them." He smiled, cheering up. "I've never dared to beat one in a race, but I'm sure one of you would be able to!"
