She couldn’t let him keep pinning her down like this. It would mean the end of her love and all the things she had yet to tell him. “Let me go.” It was a plea and an order all in one as she kept trying to thrash and flail to get out from under the male. “Please we’ll go and not return, please just let us go.” Why were they doing this? Why assault Sven and her? They were nothing special and this land wasn’t belonging to a herd that she knew of. “Why?” it was just one question but it had so many inside of it. This desire to live was strong in Ita and was growing stronger by the day. Using all her strength she tried to push herself off from the ground. She would not die her. She could not die here.

D’art laughed when he was shaken off. He had bite marks and hoof wounds thanks to this male but they were nothing compared to his training. That laugh turned into a snarl at the other male’s howl of rage. He tried to move to the side but was not quick enough. One of those deadly hooves struck his flank making his wince. His natural instincts made his head turn and he sank his fangs into the closest part of flesh of his enemy that he could. Neck, shoulder, leg it didn’t matter his only goal was to rip and shred. One of his childhood training sessions came back. Training with his brothers he had been foolish enough to be baited and lost control loosing the match, much to his mother’s displeasure. Had he been smarted he would have used that flash back to come up with a taunt to make the male loose his focus, but as he was D’art could only think of the taste of the blood had in his mouth.
