Things had gone better than she had originally planned. Shar had all the assistance she needed to kidnap the foal Losa from Alu-lote. The night was dark and the storm covered their approach and washed away their tracks. Shattering one of the front windows that could be blamed on the storm Shar snuck into the back stables where she knew the brat would be. She had no idea that another distraction was going on inside the human dwelling that helped her. It wasn’t much of a struggle and the only thing out of place when she was done was a basket. Dashing off into the night with the filly wrapped up tight in her blanket Shar didn’t stop traveling until she was into the neutral lands where she contently picked up three of her boys. Of course little Tatsu didn’t seem to have the will to stay with Shar so she sent him back to live with Rakai claiming she couldn’t bear to see her son sad even if it meant being separated from her. She also figured she could go check on them later if she wasn’t too busy. During this time the foal Losa stopped crying to go home seeming to think she was trapped by Shar forever. Shar mentally laughed at how easy it really was to break a foal. Getting back down south was easy and of course things were explained so everyone was on the same page, even that fool Claw. The foal Losa was being kept safe from a ‘dangerous environment’, Shar’s sons Azza and Me’urra would be raised in the ‘safey’ of the herd that was forming and Claw would be teaching the boys. Shar sold this to Talon by pointing out that Claw would be more willing to speak to Shar since she was ‘close’ to him, and her boys would be repeating things back to her during their education so that Shar would have tabs on him regardless of whether he was close or not. In order to make Claw feel a bit more comfortable with her she pulled him aside soon after she got home and while pretending to be embarrassed admitted she had lied about her name and it was actually Sharsa, but his cousins scared her when they had first met and she hadn’t wanted to give her real name but couldn’t come up with another name that she would respond to. She pretended to have felt guilty about ‘being with him’ and hiding anything from him. In this she hoped to build some trust with him. She still never told Talon or Barb her real name and her sons wouldn’t know it until she had educated them on the value of a secret. So for now it was only Claw who could call her by her real name which she asked of him to do when they were alone and she ‘wanted to feel special’. In this way she kept tabs on Claw and pretended to have a hesitant budding friendship with Talon all the while she reported to the mare. She had yet to learn of Barb’s boon but a feeling in her gut told her she would soon enough. In the mean time she encouraged Barb’s ego by teaching her son Me’urra to compliment Barb and have it be ‘just something mother said in passing.’ Her real training focused more on her son Azza who reminded her so much of herself. She wanted him to the brightest and the best and yet wanted to keep him close to her. (Time skip events as progression. *for my own sanity feel free to add your own data in or tell me to fix something* and now back to our scheduled program) Snorting softly Losa’s eyes opened to the dawn of another day. She still missed her mother but it wasn’t so bad. The mare who took her Shar took time to explain things to her and the one called Talon was scary but never really snapped at her. Barb was ugly and mean so Losa always made sure to look small around her and just let Me’urra compliment her which always seemed to make her happy. Wriggling over Losa snuggled up against Azza who while he was Shar’s son didn’t seem to fit in with what Shar wanted. She yelled at him a lot when she knew no one else was around. Losa knew this but never said anything.

The days that followed seemed like a large blur of events. Shar was done for what seemed like a day and a half when she finally came back with the foals. One of them wouldn't quit squealing for her mother which irritated just about everyone in the group - save for Claw who was as love struck as they come. Talon quickly noticed and often pulled Shar to the side asking her for reports and if Claw shared any information. Of course, Claw had yet to fully open up to the mare for he spent most of his time concentrating on raising the foals Shar had. But Talon was pleased nonetheless with the progress that Shar showed her. At least she was trying. And Shar wasn't the only one with foals. It seemed that Barb was pregnant and had been hiding the fact for a while...well..for as long as she could. Her belly had grown obscenely rotund and the movement inside was quite unnatural. The mare soon gave birth to four very healthy, very dangerous colts. By her reports, she had convinced a stallion of the demonic persuasion to mate with her explaining the different attributes such the wings. Talon, for once, had to praise her usually brazen and unthinking cousin for planning this. They now had an army of devils to do their dirty work. Her brother Fang would be proud. Claw on the other hand felt a little disgusted, but never showed his feeling to his cousin's demonic brood trying to keep an eye on them whenever the primal beasts went toward Losa, Me'urra, or Azza. However, all the foals seemed to get along - for the most part. Azza had been awake for quite a while and was thoroughly aware of the filly snuggling up to him. She seemed well enough, but Mother warned him not to get close to her. And even if Azza did, it was only for training purposes of manipulation. He had been his mother's star pupil, or "apple of her eye" of a sorts. However, he wished more to be like his older brother, Me'urra. The colt seemed to catch on quick with the devil's brood and always managed to keep things settled between all of them. Yet it was Losa who always came running to Azza when things went bad...as if he was going to protect her. Azza mentally rolled his eyes at the thought as he let his gaze settle over the lands. Claw was teaching Me'urra proper tracking techniques again while attempting to teach Barb's four boys....well two. The less intelligent ones were with their mother learning how to fight like the savages they were becoming. Azza's training was more subtle. The only time Sharsa taught him was when everyone else was away or sleeping..and she always seemed to have something reprimanding to say. It was very rare that she had anything nice to say in that privacy. Her faux words to him were all part of his training so that he could tell when she was lying - and when she wasn't. It was slowly getting easier and easier throughout the days. Azza returned his gaze down toward Losa as she curled closer to him. His nostrils quirked a little not wanting to wake her just yet. Hopefully his mother would not see this as a sign of weakness. She always did say sacrifices had to be made to convince the enemy...right?D'aiyn was there with his fellow Me'urra listening to what Claw was teaching them. Tracking was easy thanks to his advanced senses, but he often played dumb in order to appease his teacher. Really, he could be running circles around these two and they wouldn't know the difference. No. His attention was on little Losa. She was a pretty filly and he often liked to tease her or make one of his brother's scare her so that he could "rescue" her from him. However, it never worked for she always ran to the white rat. His small wings shuffled against his back as he couldn't help but glare at them. It was when Claw asked him a question that he snapped from his little day dream. "What was that again, Uncle Claw?" His voice growled as his red eyes looked back up to the elder, puffy stallion. He could see that the stallion was losing his patience with his pupils - it had been a long day. "Again, D'aiyn, how old is this track and what made it?" The colt gave a bit of a glare looking down at the hoof print sample. It was smaller than an azrein and was shaped wrong. But it wasn't quite like a pig's either. It was slightly smaller and pointed, like an arrow. This didn't take him long. "Dinner that Mother hunted three days ago. The track itself is about six days old based on how it's melding back in with the dirt. It's deer." He glared back up at Claw who gave him a nod of approval. It was then that they were dismissed...he gave a snort and trotted over to find where his mother was off to."Strike harder D'art! You must visualize your opponent and their weakness, then curve your anger to destroy them! This one was holding promise, but his ability to listen to direction was...frustrating. D'von seemed to catch on a little quicker but this one was...well difficult. D'art was trying, she gave her son that. D'mitri had done his job by giving her strong soldiers - all boys - and the best of their genetics. She couldn't be more pleased with the turning out of them. Barb turned just in time to see mirrored eyes staring toward her. Her other son, D'aiyn, was becoming quite good at his mental capacity. "D'aiyn, come." She ordered and he obliged immediately. "Spar with your brother." Without much of a second thought she pushed the colt into the arena with D'art, a sick smile on her face. How would he do with with a real opponent rather than a freshly killed carcass that was still bleeding out. Pigs were messy like that...Talon had been scouting the lands taking Shar with her. They needed to patrol and with most of the adults training the new recruits, everyone was required to work and pull in the weight. She was still irritated that the brute Fang hadn't showed up yet. She would probably send one of Barb's brats to go fetch him when he was old enough. Talon was pleased with them and the progress they were making as well as Shar's own brood. Azza and Me'urra would prove to be especially useful in the coming days as they were the only "normal" looking ones besides their mother. The mare did indeed start taking a shine to Shar and after a while, came to respect her talents a little. But there was always something keeping her at arm's length away from Talon..that's just how the mare was raised. She stretched a little giving a snort and a grunt stopping just behind the imaginary boundary line marked by claw marks and skeletons of their past prey as well as other intruders. "Tell me, Shar..." Talon crooned looking toward her companion. "How are things progressing? Are they what you want? What of the foal, Tolsa? Do you think she will stay or she will leave?" Talon was quite chatty today it seemed as her violet eyes scanned the area. "And your own boys, Azza and Me'urra. You're harder on the white one so I've noticed. But he shows promise. Good thing you're not soft on your own children." She offered a fang grin knowing that the mare only kept them around as tools rather than actually being a mother. It was all part of the game...

Following Talon silently until they reached the border Shar had been considering her own line of thoughts which she didn’t feel like sharing all of them with Talon. As much as she appreciated the other mare’s cunning and insight since she had gotten to know her the idea of Barb’s boon still bothered her. Talon’s voice perked her interest and she gave her companion a smile. It was soft and would look shy to anyone else. There were times when Shar just couldn’t give up the act that she had built up for herself here. In a silky voice she gave her opinion an outlet. “Things go well for me. The boys are indeed more than I thought they would be. I wish Tastu would have been cut out for this place but clearly he isn’t or I would have brought him all the way. Far too much of his father was in that one. As for Me’urra and Azza.. It’s hardly that I treat Azza harder, simply I want him to succeed more.” Shar looked Talon right in the eyes. “I like him better. Me’urra is a useful tool but he will never be the one to strive and achieve. Instead I have spoken with a stallion from the six’s herd.” She drolled over this next part having not agreed to any of it with Talon first. “You may have heard of him. Avalanche I believe his name was.” Her smile turned into a fake innocent one. “Me’urra just happened to be playing in an area with a red filly who as it turns out was Avalanche’s daughter. I came and spoke with him and now have Me’urra signed up to train with the male when he grows up. Wasn’t that just lucky?” She let part of her façade break for a moment while she was serious. “I don’t need him learning to many bad habits now from Claw or Barb that would give him away or have to be broken and relearned so I’ve been letting him play and relax more than Azza so he has a full collection of foal hood stories he can fall back on that don’t involve any of us directly. It’ll be easier to integrate him in with the Six’s herd. There he can learn their way of things and perhaps make some ‘friends’ giving this herd more powerful or useful connections. Not only that but it allows us a direct feedback to the network of the Six if news is fed to the herd.” She smiled. “Wouldn’t it be just so lovely to find a bunch of weak and useless traveling humans that were perhaps too small for the Six to bother with, but were enjoyable and easy prey? I’m sure Barb would love such a gift. She could have fun ripping things to shreds and feasting on unusual meal and the Six would ultimately be blamed. As for the filly what becomes of her is less of a concern she will come or go, but she will never be the same as she was right now if you wished to teach her or educate her on your views of the world this would be a good time so that if she does choose to leave she might invariably spread such thoughts so it becomes a cancer to the others and the seeds of dissent may further spread. That and Barb’s boys do seem so attached don’t they?” Shar gave Talon a sickly sweet smile that let on she had a great number of plots in her mind, now which one to follow would vary depending on the ground work they laid now. Hearing more of the din Losa finally gave up on the thought of actually sleeping more. She stayed where she was next to Azza for a time comforted by the sounds of his breathing. She didn’t want to get up and head out. That would mean that the other boys. The spinney ones would tease and torment her. They wouldn’t do it all the time but the one called D’art was mean and liked to yank on her mane and tail so hard she couldn’t stand and would fall down. Then he’d laugh and call her weak before standing over her and holding a hoof over her neck like she was one of his ‘kills’. His brother D'aiyn would than tackled D’art off her and they’d wrestle for a bit. Losa always used that time to escape to Azza. D’aiyn was worse than D’art in some ways. If Losa was alone and looked around there he would be inevitably watching her. It seemed no matter where she went he could be there. Whenever he did speak to her it was to tease her more often than not. Why couldn’t he just be nice to her? Honestly it wouldn’t hurt. Sighing aloud she realized there was no way she could feign sleep now and Azza might get mad her for crowding him. Moving away she stood up and headed out toward the bushy spinney male Claw who was teaching the boys something. It would mean being near D’aiyn but also near Me’urra who wasn’t as bad as the other boys even if he wasn’t as nice as Azza. As she approached Barb drew D’aiyn away which made Losa feel a lot better about coming closer. D’art grunted and used all his weight behind his next assault on the carcass. He was rewarded with hearing a crack and more blood gushed out from the holes already in the pig as the ribcage collapsed entirely. Smiling she saw him drag his brother into the area. The smile on his face disappeared. D’aiyn was no push over and D’art hated to lose. Snorting he pawed at the ground feeling not disappointment or anger but excitement. If he could knock his brother down then he was certain his mother would praise him, well as long as he didn’t kill D’aiyn, but that would be hard to do anyway so he really needn’t worry about holding back. A small chuckle escaped his throat as he started to pace to the outside of the arena. D’aiyn was strong but D’art was fast he would circle and run up to smash against his brother. Take down, bite, stomp and rip with his horns. It wasn’t much of a plan but he had one for once which would have shocked his mother.Me’urra watched as D’aiyn got pulled into a match with D’art. A part of him wanted to watch it because a long time ago he figured out that D’aiyn was a lot stronger and smarter than he let one, but D’art was a lot more stubborn and a lot meaner. So D’aiyn would never really challenged D’art but rather just sparred with him or they ‘played’ together. Maybe D’aiyn thought that D’art mind get mad one day and take it out on him while D’aiyn was asleep. It seemed like the kind of thing Aunty Talon would have taught him to do. Looking back to Uncle Claw Me’urra caught movement out of the corner of his eye and turned to see Losa coming up. Smiling at her in greeting he moved over so that that she could take a lesson with him. He studied the track that D’aiyn had left. He starred at it committing it to memory so that he didn’t focus on the fight going on so close to them. It wasn’t fair that his mother had forbade him from fighting with any of the others. He wanted to learn to fight and no one really was teaching him so he learned by watching Aunty Barb’s sons when no one was looking. He even played with them and learned a few things that way which usually ended up in Me’urra bleeding and hiding out until his scabs formed enough so he wouldn’t get caught. He was sure Uncle Claw knew since Uncle Claw paid attention to him more than most, but Uncle Claw seemed to know everything when it came to he,Azza, and Losa. Me’urra didn’t really know why but it meant he had someone he could trust for some things. He wouldn’t tell Uncle Claw a lot of things though in case it got back to his mother.

Talon listened to Shar as she spoke; the two mares continuing their route around the territory. It seemed as though the mare did indeed have plenty on her mind, yet continued to phrase her thoughts to keep things to herself. She was indeed getting better at her subtle subterfuge. "Not all are built for such a life, but those who are will be stronger for it. I'm sure both youth will be fine from your rigorous training. I've told Barb the same thing, and she has taken it to heart." The other mare gave a nod as her eyes seemed somewhere else at the moment. At the name, she shook her head indicating that she hadn't, but she listened to what Shar had to say about this male. "See? Everything will work out for you and your brood, yes?" She nodded a bit giving a small snort of what seemed like approval or satisfaction. At Shar's explanation of such, she couldn't help but glower a little as if to say 'Watch it mare, that is my family you speak of'. But Talon understood that habits as a foal died hard, and then her further explanation calmed her. The promise of humans being delivered to them was indeed quite the prize. "Indeed. I think your plans for your children will turn out quite useful." Her tail waved a little behind her cutting any of the vegetation attempting to grow in their lands as she did so. No life in their lands..."That filly will have to leave eventually. If she continues to become a distraction to Barb's warriors, I will have to deal with her." This Talon was deathly serious about. She had noticed that they were taking a shine to little Losa and that simply would not do. "But I suppose distraction is part of the training...probably why Barb doesn't run her off half the time. Though she does enjoy scaring the little pissant." Talon chuckled a little as they starting to come back toward the main group. Her violent eyes watched in pleasure as the foals were all busy...except for Azza who seemed to have just woken up. Oh Shar would probably not like that....
Azza opened his eyes a little. It seemed as if he had dozed off again. Having Losa beside him was indeed... comforting. Maybe a little too comforting. He stretched his frame as Losa stood and trotted over to Claw and the lessons. Oh whipping horse, he should probably be over there but alas he was a little lazy. He and Me'urra stayed up way too late last night talking about their lives and their futures. Azza often wondered about his other siblings and where he was, but there was nothing to that now. And then there was the matter of his father..the stallion that his mother had "rescued" him from. He wondered if he should have just stayed... Speaking of the wench, he saw her coming about with Talon. Quickly, Azza got up and stretched his body as he trotted over to meet her halfway. "Greetings, Mother. Aunt Talon, Must I say you look quite ravishing today?" Azza knew better. All the time spent buttering up Barb was a waste - this one was the real threat. Shar taught him that, and he would show that as lazy as he appeared, his teachings weren't in vain.
D'aiyn stared his brother down as he got into the makeshift "ring". He would have to be quite careful with D'art - this one was crafty as he was wild. Out of all the brothers, he was the "wild card" in the family; there was no telling what this one would do next and to whom. D'aiyn snorted glaring over at him for a moment as he stood his ground thinking about what Aunt Talon taught him about tactical expertise. His wings slightly spread in order to give him a bit more of an advantage on his sibling. Often times he would steal glances at Losa seeing that she had moved no sooner than he had to catch Claw's lesson. How infuriating! Didn't she know he was making him angry?! He hoped she was watching what happened when he got upset...It was then that his brother managed to catch a sneak attack from his flanked side. D'aiyn wasn't paying attention! He fell a few feet away skidding against the harsh ground, his wing almost catching on a rock. That wouldn't have been good. Then his brother started the assault managing to scratch and tear him up a little bit. The colt managed to worm away from D'art after a clumsy strike, and quickly jumped to his feet shaking himself off as he snorted flapping his wings toward D'art to create a dust cloud. That would teach him!
Barb snarled a little. D'aiyn didn't have his head in the game today. That little filly Losa sure was making her boys tangle in all the wrong ways. But it was a lesson as D'art caught his brother in an attack. "Yes, my son! Brutalize him! Teach him to watch his opponent! Barb gave a fanged grin as she coached her children onward. "Good, D'aiyn! Counter! Show him you have not been defeated yet!" Her children would become warriors - that was certain. There would be no sympathy or mercy within their hearts. They would become machines and hers and her family's to command. Yes...yes...beautiful...brilliant...
Claw kept his eyes on the foals in front of him. The little D'aiyn was starting to become a pain in his a**. He not only answered a question but he often was distracted which made it worse. He would have to speak to Barb - again. Me'urra was a promising lad and often took his time with his work which pleased Claw. Sharsa's children were a lot more conscious of their studies rather than Barb's. Me'urra's ambitions with other things such as fighting, however, often got him in trouble. However, Claw kept his secrets. He wanted Me'urra and Azza to trust him like a father figure. It wasn't everything he would tell Shar and many times he promised them that. It was when she wanted something out of him that sometimes he caved in and gave a little of the truth. He couldn't help it... As he gave the children a project, he raised his head and noticed Talon and Shar coming their way. He held in his smile at the sight of his beautiful mare. She hadn't approved of their union yet, but he wasn't going to give up. He was trying to think of a way to ask her - to make it official. Hopefully he wouldn't choke. Claw simply gave them a nod to acknowledge the two females before looking back down at the foals. As Losa joined them, he got her up to speed on what they were doing. There was no sense in not teaching her as well. Even if she wasn't going to become a permanent member, tracking was a skill she needed to learn in case she was ever lost or on a mission. It was the least he could do for her; Claw sometimes felt sorry for Losa and would often try to comfort her as best as he could without anyone else finding out. He did indeed have a soft spot for children...

(Fun fact one. Shar's little plan that's her afterthought need never happen. but she's crazy and that's how she thinks. Fun fact two. Word froze on me so all my tags tonight are retypes. I'm tired and crashing now) “They are only some of my plans.” Shar admitted glancing at Talon. She still had a few others and some of them she knew Talon wouldn’t approve of. As for the meeting with Avalanche. Well that had been no accident. The fact she had sweet talked Avalanche into training Me’urra was one more of skill and decisiveness than of luck. Shar would make use of her pawns as best she saw fit and she would dead before she let a little thing like being isolated stop her. This herd was nice but she wanted those connections to other places very badly. It was one of the reasons she was fine with letting Losa go after a few little promises and a bit of education. Me’urra was bound to her for life so she needn’t worry about losing him. “Oh the filly will leave, but she will carry more with her when she does. I’ll see to that, until then having me and perhaps you being the ‘kind’ ones of the herd isn’t a bad thing.” The amusement she felt died when she saw Azza laying about like a useless slug. A small frown etched it way on her face while he complemented Talon. The boy wasn’t stupid but really now could he be less obvious about it. Subtlety was more effective. Keeping eyes on Talon’s body when she moved and allowing her to ‘catch’ him at it when he thought she wasn’t looking or averting his gaze before a second. Those things spoke of more interest than just words. She would have to educate him on such things, again; but later. For now she had to be the mother once more and play the part. “Dear you know Claw” She looked at him and smiled a very soft and sweet smile. “doesn’t spend all his time to teach just Me’urra and Losa, you should join them or watch Barb’s son practice. It would be a good learning experience either way.” With that she nudged him softly in the direction of Barb’s area. It wasn’t so much a hint as a command. And he had better compliment Barb if she paid him any heed. It wouldn’t do to let Barb feel unadmired, she might just have a fit, which would lead to something dying. Shar looked at Talon with a fake apology on her face as if to say ‘foals’. Now she just needed some more time to lay the groundwork for more plots but of course with so many others around she didn’t really want to suggest anything to Talon here. Part of Shar’s mind was a whirl with one or her latest little schemes. Losa would head north and of course a member of this herd would stay in contact with but Shar would not trust Azza for the duty since his future lay elsewhere. Me’urra was assigned now. Barb’s children were hopeless cretins. The answer was she needed more children. Perhaps ones that were different, stronger. They needn’t be beasts like Barb’s but to have a weapon or two might be nice, perhaps metallic fur? This way humans would never get close to them. Now then Shar had Claw close to her and could convince him to be the father, but a part of her wondered if his naivety was genetic. That and so far he hadn’t even offered. It would be work to plant an idea and have it grow, perhaps to much work. If that was the case she should focus her efforts on obtaining Talon, the fool Claw wouldn’t even have to know the foals weren’t really his. Still how to go about planning it. Talon was more a mind for using others not being used herself. Shar didn’t want to incite another boon but had a thought she might use later to sell the idea.
D’art had nearly laughed when he saw his brother distracted but made the most of it ramming into him. He did smile at his brother flailing on the ground while he moved in to stomp at him. Distracted by that little filly again. It was to easy. Maybe D’art would just have to drag her about by her tail if it made D’aiyn stupid like this. His brother scuttled away from his rearing strike and was getting up quicker than D’art wanted. The dust his brother kicked up irritated D’art’s eyes and he blinked snarling. The jeering his mother did really wasn’t needed her. Rushing in recklessly to where his brother had been he felt something clip his side. He didn’t know if it was a tail or a wing but he bit at it. Missing he was rewarded with a hoof connecting to his jaw. Staggering back he shook his head to clear it before the imaged of his brother completely divided into two. Snorting he started to race around in a circle around the area and began to close his circle tighter and tighter around his brother. If he could pin his brother he needn’t worry about the claws on the wings to much. Those were annoying and he really hated his brother having weapons that he lacked. Snarling he suddenly changed direction from his normal circle to strike at his brother from a new angle. He tried to focus solely on the deer tack while Uncle Claw went over things with Losa but his eyes eventually strayed t to the area where there was still dust in the air. His tail twitched and he wanted to and join in. His gaze caught sight of something else that filled him with dread. His mother. Quickly turning his gaze back to Uncle Claw he pretended to be consumed with an attention and desire to learn that was expected of him. Of course he was still looking at the area out of the corner of his eye but Uncle Claw wouldn’t scold him for that, and as Losa was finally brought up with the rest of the lesson Me’urra sighed and actually turned his attention where it belonged rather than just feigning it. Uncle Claw could keep a lot of secrets but he wouldn’t let Me’urra get away with not really paying attention when there was new material to be learned. He heard more sounds of the fight between D’aiyn and D’art but didn’t tear his eyes away from Uncle Claw as he taught it was one of the hardest things for Me’urra to do and it showed in his eyes. Listening to the male talk Losa noted his change in focus for a moment and followed his gaze. It was Shar and Talon. Both were scary but not as bad as the monster Barb. Why was it out of all the adults the only nice was one Claw? He seemed to be obsessed with Shar and didn’t’ seem to know how wicked she really was when he wasn’t around. Maybe no one ever told him? Losa was tempted to once or twice but never got up the courage. What if it got back to her and Shar started to yell at her like Azza. Or worse what if Shar gave her over to Barb to care for? Losa was sure she would end up like the pig in the area and have her blood lining the sides coating the rocks and dust with red. The though made her stomach turn and she tried to focus on what Claw was saying rather than the idea of being beaten or eaten by Barb and her brood. The sounds of the battle weren’t helping but she managed to get most of the lesson. She was sure Shar and Talon were coming their way still so she kept her eyes focused where Claw was directing so that she wouldn’t have to look the scary females in the eyes. The less she had to do that the better. It would lead to something horrible one of these days she was sure of it.
