I decided I'd buzz around the Inn just to see who else was here. I looked around for a hallway or something that connected to another part of this place and caught eye of the lass that I just finished eating with walking up a staircase. I figured I'd follow her; maybe there was a vacant room for me. After enjoying the last portion of the ham that I'd received from her, I suddenly had a craving for a drink.

"Guess no one will mind if I go and grab some water..." I thought, slowly rising from my seat. I entered the kitchen as my acquaintance had before me, and looked around for something to hold liquids. I spotted a bowl and immediately took it over to the water supply, pouring myself a small bit of refreshing water. I quickly guzzled it down and saught out a place to store the bowl. I impatiently sat it down on countertop where I had met the uncaring one, and proceeded up the stairs.

Creaking slightly, the stairs moaning from the weight of my clothing, I eased up the stairs. "Funny," I thought. "I don't recall seeing this staircase here before." I pondered about it a bit more and concluded that it was most likely because I just didn't pay much attention to my surroundings when other beings were in the same vicinity as I. I felt no danger. Why I would foresee my future at this time was beyond me, but I did anyway. I questioned my paranoia.

Making my way to the top of the staircase, I gzaed upon a multitude of doors, all closed--except one. I walked down to it and inconspicuously glanced over as I passed by, only to find that female sprawled out across the bed. I didn't wish to disturb her, so I continued down the hallway in search of a vacant room. "Wonder when that other girl will be back?" I wondered, still questioning how someone could be so highly angered by -- "Never mind," I thought, understanding. It's not she was the nicest person in the world. And that dagger of hers... I dare not pursue a relationship with this one--or anyone, for that matter. I found a vacant room in the midst of my recollection of the beings that I had come across. I figured I'd stay here and keep an eye on this place. After all, my job is to seek danger and avert it, and with this place being an attraction for newcomers, I figured that this would be a smart thing to do to pass the time until ... well ... until that girl returned, I suppose.

Annette walked down the alley with the keys to the inns jingling on her hip. She unhooked the keys and quickly went through the keys, When she found the key she shoved it into the lock and jingled the lock and key. She opened the door to the maid's room. She shut the door behind her and left the room. She walked down the hallway as she fiddled with keys to the inn. She heard someone in the inns lobby. She said without looking up as she neared the lobby, "Hello. How may I help you?" She came around the the desk setting her quiver on the desk as she looked up. The smile she had on her face quickly disappeared when she saw Kesshin. "Oh it is you." Annette said as she looked at Kesshin. She saw his tattered or almost destroyed t-shirt. She folded her arms over her green fitted t-shirt. A piece of hair fell from her braid that rested against her back.

Annette shrugged and said "The last time we met it wasn't on good terms." She turn around and opened a cabinet that held a bunch of keys. She said, while she looked, "It looks like you completely forgot everything. That is very interesting." She grabbed a golden key that had white keychain that said 13. She said "Well I am usually nicer. I just had a rough day so far." She pulled out a clip board from out under the desk. She grabbed a pen and scribbled a few things in space. She paused and looked up at Kesshin and asked "I am sorry, but what is your name?" When he answered Annette wrote it down and looked up. "So your who he was talking about?" She said looking at him curiously.

Annette nodded and said "Yeah. You were attacking Caliaphy and I kinda dislocated your elbow. I don't know what his name was. He just kept saying your name and almost sacrificed me to you. But nevermind that. It will be 50 for the first night and 20 more dollars per night. I can find you a shirt for ten bucket since we don't care shirts." She took the money from him and handed him the key. She counted the money and looked up when he started to address her again. She smiled and said "Thanks. I will keep that in mind." She turned back to the money. When she made sure it was the right amount, she put the money into the cash register. Annette sat down on the chair behind her desk and propt her legs up and started at the doors of the inn. She thought to herself He is actually not that bad of a guy. It is probably because his memory was wiped clean. After a few minutes, Annette stood up grabbing her quiver and left the inn in search of the shirt he requested.

After thirty minutes, Annette returned to the inn and walked down the hallway. The purple bag swayed in her hand as she walked. Annette hummed to herself as she walked. When she found the right room, Annette knocked lightly and said "I got your shirt that you requested."

I listened in on the conversation downstairs. The girl had returned. I heard footsteps coming towards my direction, but then they stopped short of the room I was sitting in. Apparently this visitor plans to spend a night here, or two. I overheard the strangest thing; he does not seem to remember much about himself. The girl seems to know him. They both do, actually. "I should go speak with her and find out more about this fellow," I thought.

Proceeding down the stairs, I found the one that I was searching for. "Excuse me, miss," I began. "But is there a story to that young man that I overheard to speaking to?" I was curious. There must surely be a reason as to why that guy remembers little to nothing about himself or anyone else. I could use foresight, but what good would that do? I need past facts, not future.
