"Tea? Eh. Don't like tea too much. Tried it once. Didn't really like it," he said, recalling when Leon had given him some. There was also the tea in Japan. He didn't care for it much there either.
"I'll uh.. get some juice. Or something. Yes."

She could already tell that Deryk was going to suffer without his coffee. Excellent.
When they reached the cafeteria, she got tea for herself, and a glass of juice for him, before settling down at one of the tables, "Next month... Another weekend worth of break. The real question is where should we go?"

Sitting down at one of the tables, Deryk settled down before taking a drink. Well, it quenched his thirst at the very least. It wasn't quite the same seeing how he had been looking forward to his coffee, but it was still something.
"Next month? Hm. Good question. Anywhere really. So many places I've never been. Wouldn't mind seeing the world when not on mission. Mission outings are nice but... always kinda that chance of death. Makes it less enjoyable. You know?" he frowned. Shaking his head, he glanced back at his hand for a moment.

"Maybe somewhere in Asia for a change," She muttered, taking a sip of tea, and contemplating getting coffee for herself, just to torture Deryk, "Since our last one was in America... But also a place where we won't have to learn an entirely new language to communicate with the locals."

Asia didn't sound too bad. He went to two areas there for missions, but not really for vacation time. Deryk contemplated that for a moment or so. A place where the locals knew english...
"So like. Hong Kong? Hear they speak a lot of english there. Since you know. Used to be ruled by Britain for a long time."

"Ohh, Hong Kong," She stroked her chin, looking thoughtful, "There's a Disneyland there, right? Hm... But also air pollution. As if my complexion isn't suffering enough already..." She frowned, stirring her tea, "Where else can we go?"

"How about Singapore," She suggested, standing up to walk over to the counter. She then walked back with a fresh cup of coffee, filled with cream, and lots of sugar to cover the bitterness. She made sure to blow across the top of the beverage, cooling it down before taking a small sip, grinning at Deryk as she put the cup down, "It's like this tiny island in Asia... We could go to the beach. You look like you could use a tan."

"Singapore huh. Not a bad idea. And heeeeeey. What's that supposed to mean?" Deryk said with a huff. Sure he was kind of pale, but that wasn't a bad thing! It wasn't his fault the island hadn't had as much sun thanks to all the fog that was around.

"This coffee sure is bland," She said, wriggling her eyebrows at Deryk before laughing, "You have the computer tan. Some sun would do you good... I'm sure you'll get a nice tan about a day on the beach. I heard that Singapore is all about the sun."

"Well. That's cuz it's tea. Right?" Deryk said before making a bit of a face at Ariane. She was trying to torment him wasn't she?
"Nice tan.. if I dun burn instead. Gonna need to bring sunscreen probably if it's really that sunny there."
Then again, he was raised in California, so it might not be too bad. Maybe.

"Nope, it's coffee," She fanned the smell towards him with her hand, "And it's bland." Yes, she was tormenting him.
"Ohhh sunscreen," She raised an eyebrow, "Wonder if they have it here, or if we'll have to buy it when we get there... And tch, they have a casino but I doubt I'll be able to get in. Unless the fake ID states that I'm 21."

..That was the scent of coffee alright. Deryk made a face at Ariane. She was doing this on purpose.
"Hmph. Bet you never had the real good coffee before," he murmured as he took a drink of his juice.
"Eh. Not really interested in casinos. But. Shouldn't be too hard to find sunscreen there if we looked. Convenient or groceries should have them. Right?"
It made sense to him.

"Starbucks isn't bad. Definitely better than what we got here. But. Not the best I have had. Forgot the name of this one brand. It was real good though. Probably really expensive too. Dunkin Donuts isn't bad either. Bit cheaper than Starbucks," he mused. Ack. This coffee talk was making him want coffee. Deryk frowned and took another drink of his juice.
