Jerry cleared his throat, trying to think frantically how one was supposed to respond to this sort of situation.
The same way as if... a guy friend had said the same thing, right?

He cleared his throat again, "W-well... I'm... Sasha and I er... that is... I mean... I'm not... I mean... the t-two of us are sort of um..."

"I know. I'm not stupid." she turned her head again to shoot him a rather incredulous look.
"I know you like her and she likes you too." she grunted irritably, "Why do you think I've not said a damn thing to the woman?"

He sagged a little, his face still crimson, "I... I'm sorry," He wasn't sure what else could be said. He wasn't... REALLY sorry, but he did feel guilty.

Rin glanced over at the look on his face and couldn't help but crack the ever-living ******** up. Was that really all it took to render Jerry speechless? His life must be... special.

"Ah..." He cleared his throat and straightened his glasses, trying to force his face back to it's normal complexion, "Thank you. I'm ahahaha... sort of lousy at stuff like that." Mostly because circuit breakers equaled darkness and previously he had been in the fetal position rather than go into a shadowy basement to sort them out. "We... we sh-should... you know, if I got some people together, I'm sure we could get this place fixed up good as new!"
