Watching Deryk fight along side him was a very big reassurance to Jason, regardless of how well he had managed to hit it. But he was amazed at Marcus when he came at the beast, his sword glowing. He had never realized that a weapon could do that.
Jason had no idea what Zanthvos was on about, but he made a mental note to ask him later. "Nice shot guys!" He called out, before moving in to intercept the fog monster before it went for Marcus again. He was getting good at this.

Marcus managed to land a much more solid blow than he did, thanks to his charge attack. This fight was going pretty well over all as far as Deryk was concerned. Moving close to the creature again, he went on to strike. "Keep it up guys," he offered as he lightly cut the fog once more. Hm. He wasn't quite striking it in the right spot then. But he at least was hitting it. HP: 46/40 Damage: 3 Charge: 2/3 Mob: 18

Looking over to the other moon trainee, Marcus smiled. "Keep it up, sooner or later this bugger is going down." Looking to the death hunter Marcus nodded. "Yeah, Dis needs another few bites but we should be able to take it down, no charges required." Diving to the side, Marcus felt Dis drag against the wall, a small line cutting into the paint before the blade found the creature. It didn't to much, and he cursed. "I take that back, we might." HP: 42 Damage: 1 Charge: 1 used, 1/3 Mob: 17

"Yes Si- I mean Marcus" He replied. This monster was doing a dam good of evading the other hunters attacks, and it was starting to make Jason anxious. Especially when Marus said he might need more time ot charge another attack. Would they be alright? There was three of them and one of it, but he still wasn't so sure. Maybe he should start attacking himself? No, he was in charge of defending, and if he didn't, Marcus would start taking damage. So when the creature tried to move away from Jason, he matched it move for move, preventing it from getting close to the other moon hunter. HP: 35/40 Defending Marcus for: 6

Deryk had just been about to say that they should be able to handle it without another charge attack. Of course it was then and there that he ended up missing the fog creature altogether. He could hear a soft tone of disappointment from Tooley. She wanted that FEAR. "It's not doing much to us. So shouldn't be a problem," he noted. Jason was guarding Marcus, and he was able to avoid the brunt of its attacks. It would just be a matter of time before the fog thing became overwhelmed from being outnumbered by them. HP: 44/40 Damage: 0 Charge: 2/3 Mob: 17

Time and effort paid off, but, so did getting it dead as fast as possible. Less chance more things would come in and try to hit them when the fight was over. Jason's near calling Marcus sir got a laugh, though a talon nearly got him in the arm. Still, Jason was doing a damn good job keeping him out of harms way. "Never know. These guys are just nasty." As soon as he send that, he swung, only to feel the scimitar get lodged into the wall. "Son of a b***h." HP: 42 Damage: 0 Charge: 1 used, 1/3 Mob: 17

Deryk had a point; while it was taking a lot longer to defeat it, it wasn't doing much damage to them. Which was good, however as he swung his sword to intercept the claws, he misjudged the creatures distance, and when the clang of claws on metal echoed, it quickly moved past Jason to swipe at Marcus "Look out!" Oh no. Marcus was stuck in the wall now. Quickly, he tried to distract the creature from attacking him. Deryk just barely managed to scratch the fog himself, and it really didn't do anything to call it off of the guy. "Aaaaaaaaaaah... comeoooon...staystillalreadddyyyyy..." he whined. Yanking the blade free, he winced as something got his shoulder. Dis hissing, he told Marcus where to go. Clip the wings. Rolling out of another swipe from the bird's talon's, Marcus responded in kind, blade flashing and it went through the mist. "Close. Ha, figures we get cocky and then we take a nice hit into ourselves." HP: 39 Damage: 2 Charge: 1 used, 2/3 Mob HP: 14

Jason felt like whining himself at how hard this creature was becoming. It had been a bad move to underestimate it, and now it seemed it was fighting more effectively. Either that or Jason was losing focus, as the creature suddenly lunged towards the moon hunter. He tried to step back, but lost his footing and was left to fumble on the ground as the creature leaped straight over him. "Wait! come back heerree.." He whined on the floor, his arms flailing about. Jason's fumble let claws get Marcus in the back with a hiss. "Son of b***h-" His coat would need a patch job, as would his shirt. Deryk was holding well on his own it looked like, but the creature was getting ready for what looked like another swing for a beat ********-" He stabbed, smiling as Dis managed to bury himself into solid mass. "Just a little more guys!" Jason called out excitedly as he got to his feet. The monster was on it's last legs, he just knew it! Then they could go back and he could rest and re cooperate and hope that no one else would call him out for a mission for a good long while. Sadly, he should have been paying more attention to what the fog monster was doing, and when it moved past the moon hunter did he realize what it was trying to do, and barely managed to stop it from using it's full power. Oh wait. Maybe not. Seeing Marcus land quite the blow, Deryk felt a surge of inspiration that had him narrowing in on the fog thing. He looked for the spot that appeared to be the most dense, then thrusted the hidden blade right into that area. It seemed to work, as the mist disappeared soon after he made contact. "Whew. Finally. That takes care of them. Not bad guys."HP: 38 Damage: 7 Charge: 3/3 MOB: DEAD

Dead, thank god. The mist was lighter, and it didn't look like any other monsters were hanging about. Relaxing, he waved towards the entrance. "Let's head back for now. You did really well Jason." The death hunter got a smile. "And thanks for showing up Deryk. It helped a lot."
