Cautiously, Shehk took a moment to look at everything on the shelves, not picking anything up, but making sure to get a good look at everything. Red certainly had some curious things in her office, Shehk easily would have given the werewolf that.
However, once she had done that, she started to carefully check out the untitled books, barely sliding them out enough to see if there were names on the covers of them or if there was a lack of descriptor enough to prompt further investigation in such things.

There were several drawers here indeed. Looking them over for a moment or so, Shun went on to attempt to open the open the middle drawer, running his hands along the bottom to see if there was something he could pull on.
The dim lighting in the room didn't bother him much right now. Though, he figured he may need to grab his phone to act as a makeshift flashlight soon if he needed a better look at one thing or another.
"We have our reasons," he murmured, hearing Sammy's mumbled words.

it didn't take long for the hellhounds ears to pick up on the soft click of the lock moving out of place. An appreciative grin was on his face as Shehk let them in, quietly and calmly did he stroll in. The drabness of the room that was recently unoccupied hit Damien over the head. However the time for sadness would have to wait, he shook his head vigorously to get rid of the thoughts, it was time to focus and see if there was anything they could use.
Start from the ground up. The boil stuck low to the ground, the trail of dust was thick but he continued to look around at the bottom of red's massive desk while Shun took his time searching the drawers. there was always the chance there was a paper lying on the floor that could have been overlooked.

Thackery filed in with the rest of them, hanging towards the back, footsteps light and only slightly nervous. With every pause, he shifted his weight from foot to foot, which did absolutely nothing to hide any anxiety.
Once inside, he followed Shehk closely, not wanting to mess something up. When she turned her attention to the bookshelf, so did he, looking over the titles beside her as if he were a dark little mirror image of the ghoul. Most seemed relatively standard, but...
Fingers grazing it as if it would fall to dust at any moment, he slid one of the Boogeyman handbooks off of the shelf and held it cautiously as he glanced around. They'd just discussed that this was something that Boogeymen couldn't really be trusted with...so maybe they could bypass them with the help of this.

The sneaking around to get here had been pretty awesome, but this office seemed pretty... normal? He gave the bookshelf a look of thought, shifting from foot to foot, but his attention was grabbed instead by what was lying on the desk. Moving closer, Aymet looked over the books on top of Red's desk under the glow of his phylactery.

Miliardo Kason Carefully she picked up the package... It wasn't too heavy, but it also wasn't too light. It weighed roughly as much as a regular Scareon. After a quick shake, Sammy can hear something rustle around inside. There is also a small clink of something else within. demon_pachabel ...check out the untitled books... Many of the books Shehk pulled out and examined had blank covers. Shehk pulls one out completely, and a piece of paper comes fluttering after it. After snatching it out of the air, it looked like the cover to the book. A quick flip through it revealed that it was a yearbook. It seemed that somebody had taken a black marker to many of the faces inside, improving and embellishing the pictures with monocles, mustaches, top hats, and -- Wait. The pen they used was scented. Shehk takes a deep sniff of the page. Huh. Chocolate. Weird. Blade Kuroda ...open the open the middle drawer, running his hands along the bottom to see if there was something he could pull on. Shun is unable to run his hands along the bottom due to the vast amount of paper and school supplies he encounters. A pen snake hisses and latches onto his hand! Shun withdraws his hand and manages to shake it off, the offended pen slithering and slinking beneath a mess of papers on Red's desk. Bloodlust Dante ...he continued to look around at the bottom of red's massive desk... Demi doesn't think he sees anything. All he can smell is dust and the tang of liquor from a bottle that he manages to find rolled under her desk. Nothing Yet ...slid one of the Boogeyman handbooks off of the shelf... Thackery is now in possession of A Boogeyman's Guide to Otherworld Bars. Iizbot ...looked over the books on top of Red's desk... The books were rather normal for such a normal office. How to Train your Minipet, Advanced Music Theory, Emergency Field Care 202, and Dancing with Fire. The books that were opened are impossible to read, as the letters seem to shift and twist in and out of focus the longer Aymet looks at them.

It was kind of a nice little book, actually, and Shehk found herself almost wishing she'd gotten one herself. Maybe something that Riley could have signed. Ugh, she'd just depressed herself, actually. Still, she took a few more minutes to look over those defaced images with a small smile on her face. It really did seem like to sort of thing Red enjoyed.
However, despite the fact it wasn't immediately helpful to what they were looking for in the office, Shehk spend a minute with that book to see if there was anything written in the yearbook worth noting. Perhaps even something more written in that chocolate colored pen.

With the Most Valuable Piece of Information That They Would Surely Find Here still held carefully in the crook of his arm, Thackery cocked his head at the sight of the interesting bookmarks. Ooh, glowy! He nearly reached out to snatch that one up, but his fingers curled against his palm in hesitation. Maybe not. Maybe glowy was bad this time.
Instead, he inspected the metal object that was being used as a bookend, still hesitating on touching it. It wasn't the potential of dissipation that worried him; that nagging feeling that he was going to ruin this for all of them still wouldn't quite leave him alone.

He gave Hel a small smile before slipping into the office behind the rest of the group.
Inside it was dark, the floors and walls made of a smooth, grey stone. Dust rose as Sparrow stepped inside, his eyes narrowing to take in everything. Around him, the rest of the students were already beginning to quietly examine things.
It felt oddly tense. Sparrow idly tugged on one of his gloves, moving forward silently. He stepped past the desk, and reached out, ...running his fingertips along the box on the professor's desk. He picked it up to look more closely at it. Automatically, he wrinkled his nose at the dust that rose in the air, squinting at it.
Then realized he had just taken it from a ghoul.
"S-sorry!" he gasped out, feeling thoroughly embarrassed with himself.

Something rattled inside the package, a clicking sound? Glass? Metal? She wasn't sure what it was exactly. There would be only one way to find out though. Very carefully she would open the box. She flinched the whole time as the paper unwrapped, it felt wrong, but, they where here to find out more, even if it wasn't what she had expected it to feel like.

Amrita slipped into the room shortly after Aymet, watching her classmates and fellow tresspassers go about their business to investigate the things. Yet she loomed near Aymet and his helpfully glowing phylactery, looking at the same titles of the books that he did; minipets? field care? Dancing with fire? No thank you! Instead she looked passed the books, and to the pensnake that slithered from Shun's general area. Yeesh, she hoped he didn't get bit! Those things were nasty!
Either way she leaned foward to look through some papers on Red's desk.

Shun let out a sharp hiss as a pensnake had bit onto his hand. After it had retreated back into the drawer, he scoffed lightly before deciding to move onto another drawer. Papers weren't really something he could look through all that well.
And so he opened up the drawers on the side of the middle to look through.

He scanned the titles. Normal, normal, normal, no thanks - what was that? Aymet squinted at the open books, confused at first. Every time he tried to get a grasp of what he was looking at, the letters almost seemed to avoid him, shifting away. An unreadable book? That was definitely suspect. He gave Amrita a brief glance and then looked back down.
Suspicious, he reached out a couple of claws to flip over one of the open books so he could read the covers.

demon_pachabel ...see if there was anything written in the yearbook worth noting. After browsing the commentary written on pages and in the margins, Shehk gathered a couple facts about the former gym teacher. The first is that she liked to fight: a majority of the comments were either along the lines of I'll beat you next time! or more often, I look forward to fighting you again, you better get stronger for next time seriously stop trying to fight me until you get better! The second was that she was rather close to several names that Shehk can recognize as current school faculty. The third is that Red was a club leader. Amityville Coursers. The club photo was a rather blurry photograph of the club members in motion. It looked as if they were about to mob the poor photographer. Nothing Yet ...inspected the metal object that was being used as a bookend... The metal item was a trophy of some sort. Or was it a statue? It was hard to see, but it was rather angular. Thackery squinted at it. It didn't do anything. kuromeez ...running his fingertips along the box on the professor's desk. He picked it up to look more closely at it,.... Sparrow took the box out of Sammy's hands and squinted at it. Yep. It was still a wrapped box. Miliardo Kason ...she would open the box. Sammy took the box back from Sparrow and RIIIIIIP went the gift wrap. The undead ghoul opened the box and discovered a folded letter. Sammy picks the letter up and opens it. A scareling's scrawl meets her eyes. Quote: Red! Hihihi! Did you see the tag? I wrote it all by myself! Daddy says I'm getteng bettur! We made u your favorite cookies too! And got you a blankie!!! I hope you come home soon. I miss you!! Love, [There's a different scrawl of runes here, like a signature.]Beneath the letter is a sealed cookie jar with folded cloth wrapped around it to protect it from damage in the mail. There is a brisk smell of something coming from the box. It's something sharp, but that is all Sammy can determine. Enoh Love ...look through some papers on Red's desk. Using just her eyes, Amirta can see... paperwork. Lots and lots of paperwork. Most of it seemed to be legal babble in regards to the local sparring laws as well as half-drafted letters from Red arguing how some laws should be altered. After reading, it appeared Red was fighting to get Amityville better gym and sparring equipment. Blade Kuroda And so he opened up the drawers on the side of the middle to look through. (( The back of the desk looks like this. Which side and which drawer? )) Iizbot ...flip over one of the open books so he could read the covers. The papers crunch painfully as the book was quickly flipped over, bending them. The cover of the book Aymet flipped over had a black cover. There wasn't anything written on the cover.
