"A-ah sorry. I have no booze whatsoever. I.. I don't drink." Rin gave him a somewhat shameful look as if that were a crime, "Th-then again I don't want you to chop it off either. Th-the fact you feel it at all is a f-fairly good sign it's still alive and workable."
She physically flinched, "Okay. Je-Jerry. I-I think I have an idea. Hold st-still."
Rin got up to sit in front of Jerry, her hands running up the sides of his leg brace before attempting to very carefully unbuckle the whole thing and remove it.

"J-just trust me okay." she flinched at him a little before setting the brace aside and turning on his injury, attempting to rub her hands and arms along the sides of it. Firm, but not too deep.
"If it hurts too much, j-just give a yell." she advised.

"S-s-sunny already had a look at it!" He squeaked. His brain was reeling. One moment, all he could think about was all that had happened, and suddenly, Rin's hands were creeping dangerously close to lap-zone. He shifted to scramble back a little bit, his Fear-abused frame shuddering.
He just wanted to crawl into a ball and stop existing. But Rin was doing a very good job of distraction.

Rin blinked as Jerry fled, "What is wrong with you? I'm just t-trying to help. SOME."
She tried to follow him determinedly, "Look, J-Jerry. You're doing n-no one any favours letting yourself fall apart."
She frowned woefully as she was reminded of something Harrison told her, why'd that a*****e have to be right at all about anything.
"Look, th-there's no point t-torturing ourselves. We n-need to get better if we're going to do an-'nything. Okay?"

His back hit a happy-faced dolphin plush and he hung his head.
What was the point in fighting? She was right. If he wasn't going to just... give up. Then he should take care of himself. He didn't WANT to be crippled, but Sunny had given him instructions not to poke at it. She hadn't given any real details, though, simply helping him walk again so he could get the hell out of the infirmary and above ground to blow things up.
The distraction was welcome. His brain couldn't comprehend any more digestion of the heartbreak.
"It... it's only hurting now when there's... there's a lot of weight on it. L-like I said, it barely hurt at all yesterday. I th-think.. I think it's my Fear shield blocking it for the m-most part." He wobbled, "But judging by... earlier... I think those headbands um. Wore the shield out. I d-don't know, Roar's been quiet."

"Byr too." Rin offered as she kept at it.
"D-does this hurt at all?" she offered, vaguely giving him the option NOW to opt out of the treatment as the palms of her hands and her inner arms kept working along all areas of his injury she could find.
Honestly, this was just as distracting for her. The pain becoming far less mind numbing in the face of being able to do something. Something in hopes it might get them back on their feet faster and looking for Sasha.

"N-no..." He ventured, although truthfully everything hurt. Even his brain. Concentrating on making sure she didn't crawl too far up his thigh was a good distraction at least.

Rin kept at it for quite some time, allowing for her own thoughts to wander off a bit. Maybe Sasha was okay? Maybe they could get better in time to save her.. maybe they didn't want to hurt her at all. Maybe... she wasn't paying attention and did start to wander a bit too... higher and higher up his leg.

Rin blinked at the sudden intrusion. Staring at Jerry's hands, then her hands, and finally where they were. She abruptly cleared her throat, "I-I apologize. I.. was th-thinking topo much ab---t things."
Ah pain, she remembers you, "fk-fk-fk" she hissed again in the same manner as before.

"M-maybe... maybe you should just rest," Jerry smiled weakly, but it didn't reach his eyes as he timidly patted her shoulder. "If... if she is still alive... we're... we're useless like this." He sagged, depressed thoughts swimming back again.
