He turned to summon Tracey and leap clear of the hay pile on one lazy gesture.
"Knowing how ******** fragile I am though, I'll be right back to hide again in oh.. couple minutes tops. Bark!"
He didn't wait for an objection.
Running right past Ami to leap up and swing at the thing, he called out. "I meant the OTHER moons b***h. BARK BARK!"

Looking to where Harrison was hiding he felt a pang of guilt. "My fault ~pyon. And, I owe you for it ~pyon."
Taking a talon towards his side, Marcus hissed as he knocked it off, feeling it graze the open air next to him.

Jordan rolled his eyes good-naturedly at the arguing and stayed out of it. As the phoenix dove again, he brought Ferros around; the bird altered its angle of attack at precisely the wrong moment, and the brilliant fireball that Ferros produced flamed out without having touched the creature.

Rep just smirked at Marcus as he spoke up. He was irritated that the moons hadn't arrived on time to cover Harrison but it was perhaps a bit unreasonable to do so. So he shrugged it off.
"Ta." he thanked Marcus regardless, the bird ******** hurt when it used those talons and it was nice to be able to focus. As soon as Jordan was out of line of fire, he picked up the slack, as it wheeled around, waiting until it moved in to attack before striking out at one of its wings.
Its screech of pain was music to his ears.

Holy s**t Marcus just could not get better. Ami nodded with his response, basically looking like the back up to his stoic hero. Don't mess with the moons, man.
She continued blocking attacks from the phoenix, but it was a strong ********. "Thanks Marcus pyon~" she said with a pointed glare at Rep.

The phoenix seemed to be faltering, its substance thinning and wisping away in little curls. The next time it dived, Jordan was ready for it; Ami knocked its claws away, and Jordan smashed Ferros right into the phoenix's core. It disintegrated with a wail.

Ami gave a dignified nod in acknowledgement of Jordan's defeat of the phoenix. That was as much of a compliment as you were getting.

That was plenty of compliment, anyway. The reward for this job would be getting the course cleared off, and Ami was doing a very decent job of defense. Jordan nodded back.
He growled with annoyance when one of the larger ones came puffing up and out of a tablet, and aimed a good hard strike at its "head." It reeled briefly, but then surged back.
