Otto barely dodged an attack from the bigger baddie, shuffling backward to gain more space. He didn't much care to rely on melee, but swung his weapon like a baseball bat anyway.

Deryk noticed no other thingies were cropping up. This was a good sign. Running towards the fog creature, he unleashed Tooley. The green aura burst out from the blade just before he plunged it into the fog, causing it to scatter a little. It didn't kill it. In fact, it still kinda looked like it was doing alright still.

He turned back, and made a swing. "I like turtles."

Jude actually stopped even as the creature swiped right at him despite his half-hearted dodging and then looked at Robert and said, "Yes. yes it does. Your buddy looks like a turtle. A turtle that needs to not be alive anymore."

Though, Deryk was kinda surprised that Robert was actually attacking instead of summoning more of these things. But that was probably a good thing right about now. Moving to try and get around the fog, he attacked again.

There was stupid, and then there was Robert stupid. He was stupid enough to keep bumbling around and summoning things, but when something this big, that hit this hard, started to attack - he was back to business.
"How can you not enjoy turtles, man?!" Or at least, as close to business as he got. "I had one once in the backyard," He explained as he hacked away. "And he would like, BOLT if you tried to stick him with a pine cone."

"Now kids, don't make me put you in separate corners," Jude said over toward Otto and Robert when it seemed like a brawl was going to go down over whether or not turtles were boring.

Why was Deryk implying pinecones went in such a place? Otto's lip curled in disgust at the boy, interrupted in his judgemental staring by Robert's weapon. "Woah! Dude, don't pint that thing at me.." Jude's reply was met with a sideways glance from Otto.

Deryk let out a sigh while looking between Otto and Robert. Though, his attention didn't stay on them for long. Down the hall, he saw what looked like a mini stampede of creatures headed in their direction.
"Uh. Guys. Stampede."
66: A bunch of smaller, semi-solid forms attack you in a large group!

Robert was ready to point his weapon right up Otto's a**, when the sound of stampeding monsters came hurtling towards them. His eyes narrowed, and all the fun they were having ended in a rush as he bent forward in an attack stance. It looked as though even Robert knew when it was time to get serious.
Jezebel made a sickening crunching sound as his body twirled, barreling right through the mob just as determinedly as they were barreling towards them.
