“…Oh…” Hel’s brows furrowed. More topics she wasn’t feeling all that great about. Damn it.
“…Ah…you are a Hob now, ya? Do you have anyone in mind…?” Here Hel paused. “…Eh…I am not certain, Lizzy.” She pursed her lips. “…I do not know…what route I want to take after I graduate…much less whom to seek mentoring from now…but…eh…I should figure that out…huh?” She had no clue where to look.

"I was thinking mister Hyde at first," She nodded, "You know... The school counselor. Then, I heard some, uh, rumors about his unusual and unorthodox methods, and I wasn't sure he is a good fit..." She looked sheepish, "I might go look for Professor QB, to learn more about humans."
That are not hunters.
"Hm... Maybe you could go talk to the school counselor?" She suggested, "Despite the rumors, he must be of some use if the school had allowed him to keep his job, right...?"

Hyde…Hel heard about him vaguely…through the grape vine here and there, and then from Mort on GroanSpring…and Mort’s opinion on him happened to coincide with Lizzy’s apparently. “…Huh.” Hel took a moment to think about this. Once again, Lizzy had some logic in her words. Surely he had to be of some use if he was still the counselor?
“…I…suppose I will seek him out.” Hel murmured. Better than nothing, hopefully? Maybe it would put her in a direction…somewhere. Something and anything would be good at this point. “…Ah...Professor QB…” Hel nodded her head. “…He seems like…a very interesting figure to gleam information from.”

"I hope he'll be able to help!" She smiled before chuckling, scratching her cheek, "Interesting indeed... He's pretty well-known, apparently, even among other schools, but it's tough trying to locate him. I'm going to start running his open class soon though, to see if I can run into him some time."
She begrudgingly let go of Hel, grabbing her leftover drink, "Going to stay here longer, or do you want to head back now?" Whatever her plans were, Lizzy was probably going to adopt them.

“Me too, friend…me too…” Hel murmured, trailing off for a moment before looking over at Lizzy. “…Ah…he is? He happened upon Shun and I in the Reaper Gardens one day…and he said if we ever wanted to see him again…it would not be hard…” But as of late, and after that lecture the little familiar gave…she hadn’t seen him around…but then again, she wasn’t looking either.
Hel hummed a bit thoughtfully at Lizzy’s question. “…Ah…I suppose I will head back…heh…not accomplishing much out here.” The reaper stood, swaying on her feet from the momentum and then grabbed her bag of soda.

"... Is that so?" She frowned, wondering if she was doing something wrong, "Maybe I'm just looking in all the wrong places... I'm not giving up anytime soon though!" She nodded, hopping down from the well. She took her unfinished bottle of soda in one hand before taking hold of Hel's free hand with the other, lightly swinging their arms between them.
"One day, you need to teach me how to cook, or brew stew," She nodded, "Don't think you can set stew on fire."

“That is the spirit!” Hel encouraged, blinking as Lizzy took her hand before she grasped it back in return, swinging it with the spider ghoul.
Hel looked over at the ghoul. “…Brew…stew…” She repeated slowly, staring at the ghoul with a quirked brow. “…Cooking stew is not a magic trick, ya know, and I am most certainly not a witch…but ya, I can show you, if you want. When would you like to come over?”

"Aren't... Stews brewed...?" She asked, clearly confused as she started down the path leading back to school. When Hel agreed to show her, she broke into a smile, "Oh! Um, how about... Some time next week?"

Are they Lizzy? Are they? Hel was confused now too.
“Well…whatever…but ya, next week sounds good! I shall go to the market and gather some ingredients for us then.” Lizzy said something about food catching on fire…she really hoped that wasn’t going to be the case next week. She’d keep a close eye on her.

"Ohhh, sounds exciting," She giggled happily, wondering what sort of stew they would be brewing - it was brewed right - together, "Just drop me a text a day before, and I will be there the next day!"

Hel nodded her head. “Will do friend, will do.” As she walked along with the spider demoness though, she seemed in thought. “…Ah…Lizzy…” She trailed off for a moment. “…Thank you for…listening.” She replied quietly after a moment. “…It…means a lot.”
She leaned and kissed the ghoul’s cheek.

"I'm always available if you need-" She went completely silent when Hel kissed her; sure, it was just a kiss on the cheeks, but this was Hel! A friend! A ghoul friend! This was like that time Lattice kissed her right? A friendly kiss? Yes, friends, yes... She was told that it was normal for ghouls to kiss other ghouls on their cheeks or forehead, to show affection...
No homo.
"-Y-you're welcome," She squeaked, blushing as she smiled bashfully, "And thank you for agreeing to show me how to brew... Cook a pot of stew."

Sorry Lizzy. Valkyries were just really affectionate reapers, okay? Especially when they considered someone to be like their ‘sister’. Deal with it.
“Ah, no problem.” She assured once more. “It is the least I could do, really…and I have not cooked in a while, so it shall be a nice change.” The reaper walked along with the demoness until the split in their paths, to which she waved the ghoul off before parting ways to start preparing for a trip to the market.
