Hel was now rolling around on the grass, mentally replaying the image over and over again of Shun hitting the wall and then fall backwards. Eventually her laughter started to die down, and she could see the grim…uh…glaring at her. She tried to speak through her chuckling.
“…Oh…” She snorted. “Shun…are you alright? Pfffffffffffffthahahaha!”

"I'm fine," he said rather flatly, lightly dusting himself off. Shun soon let out a breath and started walking towards the entrance of the dorm.
"Wait here please," he said plainly as he continued to walk.

“S-so good to hear it, fffffriend pfffft….” Hel clamped a hand over her mouth, and nodded her head and waved as she rolled around in the grass some more while Shun went into the reaper dorms.
By the time the grim came out, Hel seemed to have herself more under control. She was sitting up, resting her weight in her hands with her feet sprawled out in front of her. She was also smirking, and her shoulder shook lightly every now and the with amusement.

Stone faced as ever, Shun returned shortly after with a few things in hand.
"Stand up," he instructed. When she did, he placed a book upon her head, and then one other thing on top of that. It was a lit candle. He held them in place, waiting for them to become balanced.
"Now. Walk."

The reaper pushed herself back up to her feet once Shun appeared and instructed her to do so.
The ghoul let out flabbergasted sound as he placed a book on top of her head, along with…
“Is that a lit candle?” Hel questioned, her brows furrowing. “What is this?” Technically, Hel, it was called getting your just desserts, but it was also called training. When Shun instructed her to walk, the ghoul looked at him funny, standing still for a moment longer before she took a few steps, the book and candle staying relatively flat and stable on top of her head. “Ya…and?” She looked back at Shun, waiting for him to enlighten her.

Placing his hands into his pockets, Shun watched with disinterest as Hel only took a few steps. That was hardly enough to test much of anything.
"This is your training.," he stated, "And you're going to need to walk more than just a few steps. Walk levelly, and keep your balance. Or else the candle will fall. Simple. Now walk go retrieve your hoop."
That would likely also require for her to carefully pick it up. One way or another.

“My training?” The ghoul echoed, cocking a perplexed brow at him. “…So…keep the candle on my head, huh? How is this helping? It feels pretty dumb, actually.” And making Shun shadow stepping into a bright plastic hoop and wasn’t? For all her complaining though, the reaper did was Shun told her to do. She squared out her shoulders and strode over to the hoop. Heh. This was easy.
Or it was…until she reached to pick it up, and immediately the book and the candle slid right off of her head. The book flopped harmlessly to the ground, the candle fell right onto her shoulder, where a loud hiss followed by a “FU—“ We’re heard. Hel glared down at the two items on the ground and then looked back at Shun.

Despite her complaining, Shun remained silent and simply waited for her to make her move. The walk was simple enough, but once she had to pick up the hoop, that was when she ended up taking a bit of the flame.
"Hm. Perhaps that wasn't as useful after all. Though I think I have a better idea for training," he mused. Did he really think the candle thing would have helped? Or did he just want to get back at Hel for laughing at him? It was hard to say with him.
"Have you ever heard of parcour? Also known as freerunning?"

Hel grumbled, collecting her hoop, the book, and the now un-lit candle, and returned back over to Shun.
She paused once she was close, and just stared at him. Her eyes narrowed. The way he mused and just glazed over this method of training was very suspicious. Hel couldn’t shake off the distinct possibility that Shun had just trolled her. The ghoul pursed her lips, and was about to have some choice words with the grim until he brought up a new subject.
“…Uh…no, I have not…” She looked suspicious again. “It does not involve candles, does it?” More suspicious glaring at Shun.

Had Shun trolled Hel? The world may never know. One of Halloween's mysteries was likely if Shun had any sense of humor at all. In any case, he shook his head at the question regarding candles.
"No. It's a style of movement. It was an effective way of moving around the city where I came from, though it requires a good deal of athleticism."
Rather than explaining it more, he decided to try and show her. He just hoped he wouldn't end up missing his landings. This was something he needed to train more on personally considering the damage he had taken to his left eye. Letting out a breath, he looked around the garden to scope out his path. Furrowing his brow, he moved further back from Hel before pausing. He looked ahead a little more, then broke off into a run, going straight for one of the benches. Stepping onto it, he launched himself onto the top of the brick wall. He nearly slipped. But he managed to not crash. The Reaper ran along the top of the wall before jumping off and rolling onto the ground near Hel as he landed.
"Like that. Only without the slip."

Hel was pretty certain Shun had just trolled her. But the real question now was: would anyone believe her? The odds were low.
“A style of movement?” The ghoul echoed, brows furrowing. The city, huh? Well, that made sense…since she came from the country and never really hard about it before. Hel wasn’t too worried about athleticism…she had it…she just really needed to get herself back into shape again, and that just required some extra training. The ghoul watched as Shun moved to do a little demonstration in the garden, her brows now furrowing in thought as she observed him using the elements in the garden to help him clear the wall.
As Shun rolled near her, another light seemed to pick up in her eyes. “…So…like that…but on a larger scale, ya? Such as to navigate something like a city…?”

"Indeed. Obstacles are not as much of a problem with this, and it requires a good deal of balance and precision as you may expect. One wrong move and you may end up harming yourself a great deal. Especially if say... jumping from one rooftop to another nearby," Shun explained.
"Practicing on a smaller scale is good too, especially when you're first starting out. Don't try anything crazy early."

As Shun explained, the ghoul just ended up grinning, rubbing her chin thoughtfully. Skill, leaping, climbing, jumping…risk of bodily harm…yup, she was all over it! “So…” She started. “…Would the point of this…parkour…to use it to get from say…point A to point B, just by simply using your limbs and physical prowess?”
Her grin widened. “I need to master this skill. When can we start training, Shun?”

"As well as your environment," Shun affirmed before raising a brow to the Valkryie. She seemed to be excited about this.
"If you're up for it. Tomorrow."

“Ah, yes, your environment as well…but by mastering this…parkour…one should be able to traverse any environment, ya? Even one that one is not familiar with, right?” Her grin widened. “Alright! Where should I meet you tomorrow, and what time, friend?”
Excited she was, indeed.
