"Of course!" she laughed at his decision to dodge further swimming and shook her head. Clearly he was struggling with the taste of the salt in his mouth and it was probably for the best that she assisted him in that respect. Salt water wasn't a nice taste and it lasted for ages, that in mind, it was time to introduce him to some of the plants that a certain deity had brought with her while tending to the Tsunami inflicted coastline... that and she knew that there was fresh water near by.

"Come on, let's get that salt out of your mouth," she offered and nodded her head, leading the male towards the jungles and the fresh water river that flowed through it. He could dunk his face and tongue in that for a while, then she would cleanse his pallet with some of the fruit and by the time he was finished, the salt taste should be gone!

"I'll introduce you to some limes as well, that should cut through the salt and make your tongue feel better way more quickly just um..." she paused briefly and tilted her head to the side. "Just don't eat them," she added.

Chosimba obediently followed after. For the most part he was silent and listened to what Zephyr had to say about washing the taste out of his mouth. Fresh unsalted water actually sounded pretty good. It was odd to him that any sort of liquid would have the power to make his mouth feel so dry and taste so awful. He imagined that it must be the salt. Smacking his lips he thought about how much he wanted a drink of some normal water.

"Don't eat the limes?" His mind joined with his body some. "Why would you not eat them if you don't mind me asking." There were plenty of things out in the jungle that just spelled out death if you ate one. But it was always curious to Chosimba as to why. He asked a lot of why questions. Not always out loud , but the lion was a very curious mind.

"Will I die? Is it dangerous?" He was actually mostly concerned with the dying part. A lime had never crossed his path his entire life.

She was feeling impish. In fact, she was feeling positively devillish and she grinned at the lion as he asked her the questions regarding the limes. It was with this in mind that when she finally reached the right area, she snipped one of the limes from the tree and rolled it to Chosimba. "If it were poisonous, I wouldn't be telling you to lick it," she pointed out teasingly. She then snipped another one, sat down and proceeded to slice it in half with her claws in a manner that made it obvious it was something she had done before.

"You can eat them if you like, but the vast majority of lions don't really like them that much," she explained thoughtfully. Personally she liked the taste, if only because the salt water tended to make them taste much sweeter. She was a bit of an oddball though, it was something that tend to happen to Hlare...herbalists were forever trying new things.

"But generally you just lick them," she demonstrated and then motioned to the river near by, "Then you sip the water," she finished. Her explanation complete, she then bit down on her lime and proceeded to eat it, her expression giving away nothing about the sharp taste the fruit had!
