Anyway, the looks on their faces had probably already given them away. Jordan had a pretty good poker face most of the time, and Harrison managed to keep a straight face sometimes, but Rep was easy to read, especially when surprised.

Clarice gave Jordan a small frown, "Well...at first I asked Stephan, but he insisted it would be better if I was the one to talk to you three." She'd had her doubts about this, but he had made it sound so reasonable at the time. At the time. Jordan's surprise left her feeling uncertain again.

Harrison's question didn't help matters, and she quickly tried to reassure him, "Oh no, swe-Harrison, there's no problem, kay? I know polyamory is viewed a bit negatively in places, but it's not that uncommon here. If you're able to work things out together, there's really something to be said about having that kind of emotional support from more than one person." To be honest, it was the couples that made her worry more in general. Hunters didn't have the best life expectancy, and love sometimes meant the loss of two hunters rather than one.

She smiled brightly and picked an oddly decorated ball of her desk, squeezing it in her hands. "Support is important. As is safety. Have you guys been using condoms?"

Stephan? Who and why - okay, never mind, there were more pressing matters, like technical terms and personal questions, and Jordan could tell that he was slowly turning red. "Er," he said. "We've been - uh - being safe." Please don't ask for details.

Ferros was roaring with hilarity and being absolutely no help.

The blonde nodded thoughtfully, "I'm glad you aren't taking unnecessary risks." She quirked an eyebrow at Harrison's complaint and did her best not to dote at his cute pouting face. Rep had been leery about the mechanics of things to begin with, and the discussion about condoms had baffled him in his ignorance. Clarice took his brain places he didn't think it'd ever have to go.

There may have been a moment of relief at that. "Because Stephen and I made a little safety booklet for you three, and I think the illustrations explain better than I could. It's in your bags too."
