Argos hadn't slept this well in years, as the Alpha, he always had to sleep with one eye open, while as the Beta he found he had a whole different set of things to worry about. Despite this being the best and probably longest sleep he had ever had, he eventually had to wake up. He stirred a little when he felt movement right next to him, and inhaled lightly, his instincts telling him to assess his surroundings. The only thing his sense of smell was giving him was a wonderful and familiar scent, though it had changed slightly from how he remembered it. His eyes were still closed, he wasn't quite ready to open them and really wake up yet.

Argos noticed that he wasn't wearing any clothes, but that wasn't anything abnormal for him, as he didn't like to sleep in his clothes. What he did notice was the fact that there was something under him, at least partially, and that his legs were tangled with another person's. The events of the last day flowed back into his mind in slow chronological order; from their capture, to the point where they drugged him and he was knocked out. Everything after that was a bit of a blur in his mind, a sort of inexplicable mass of legs and arms and passion. One thing however, did stick out in his mind from there, it was just a name, but for some reason he couldn't help but smile when he thought about it. He heard a quiet breathed whisper of his name from right in front of him and he finally decided to open his eyes.

His jade eye and his blue-gray eye were both met with the same pale orbs gazing back at them. He smiled and whispered back, "Morning Ava." He didn't feel like moving or blinking, he just stared back at Ava with a slight smile on his face. He wouldn't have minded spending the whole day there with her.

Vincent made a conscious effort to keep his face neutral as Aurora emerged from the bathroom in only a towel. Somehow, he hadn't expected her to leave the room without being fully clothed. Vince wasn't sure why that surprised him, but it did.

Even more surprising was his amusement at the venom in her words. He supposed she was also irritated at the prospect of sharing a bathroom. Vince raised an eyebrow and smirked at Aurora, but she didn't spare him a passing glance as she huffed off. He shook his head and shut the door, stripping off his pants before getting into the shower.

The water wasn't as hot as he would have liked, but that was probably due to Aurora having used the water just minutes before. A few minutes later, Vince shut off the shower and wrapped a towel around his lower half. Rather than bothering with toweling his hair, he simply shook it out and ran his fingers swiftly through it. Vince's dark hair, while thick and somewhat shaggy, dried quickly. Clad only in his fluffy towel, Vince scooped up his clothes and deposited them in his room before heading downstairs for breakfast.

Vincent noticed Aurora sitting at the kitchen table enjoying left overs from last night's meal, but he didn't pay her much mind as he set about the kitchen, trying to decide whether or not he wanted to cook. Disheartened at the prospect of more dishes, Vince went with a box of cereal, milk, a bowl and spoon, as well as a plate and a fork for whatever was left of the scraps from last night when Aurora was through.

"Good morning Aurora." Vincent flashed her a bright a cheery grin as leaned against the counter, eating his first bowl of cereal. "Sleep well?"

"Good...good morning." Ava stammered and then smiled, embarrassed. She was blushing, but there wasn't anything that could be done about it.

She'd had something of a crush on Argos for a long time, but never dreamed he would ever return those feelings for her. The scent of the two of them still hung in the air, and it seemed to calm her nerves. The specifics of the night before were fuzzy, but she remembered the feelings; the desperate passion, the desire for more, the need to mark him...

Ava blushed deeper. "I...did we...? Last night...?" She trailed off, her pale blue eyes meeting his mis-matched ones. Ava had always thought his eyes were beautiful, and looking into them now helped to chase away the last of her worries. She still hadn't moved from the position she'd woken up in - half buried under Argos - and it occurred to her that she probably should, but she was just too comfortable, laying there with him, tangled up as they were. Part of her was still afraid that if she moved, the illusion would be shattered and she would wake up from the best dream she'd ever had.

Aurora didn't look up from her food when Vincent came back down the stairs, she simply kept eating silently and planned out what she was going to do today. Maybe a run in an hour or so, and then she could tease Argos about what had happened last night. She took a bit of the reheated leftovers and sighed; it wasn't as good as it was last night, but that was because it was leftovers. She took a bite out of the remains of the steak, chewing silently and enjoying the peace and quiet before it was all shattered by Vincent again. She raised her head up and looked at him with a unamused expression on her face and said, "I slept fine. It is morning, though it's not very good. I am not a morning person, at all. See, I like my mornings peaceful and quiet. I like taking long showers after I wake up, and I eat my breakfast in silence, so I can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet before the busy day tramples all over everything. I don't like being interrupted, and especially not when there's no reason for it."

She took another bite of the steak and stared at Vincent from across the table and counter. With the same look on her face, she continued, "Do you know what's down the hall there?" She pointed with her fork, not waiting for an answer before continuing, "Past the second bedroom, third door on the right, just before the laundry room? Another bathroom, identical to the one upstairs. Shower and everything. Imagine that." Aurora fell silent again and looked back down at her food, picking at the vegetables and the stir fry. Having made her point adequately, Aurora didn't say anything further to Vincent on the subject, instead moved on, "I left the rest of the leftovers in the fridge for you. I stole the last bit of steak and stir fry though, so you'll have to make due with potatoes and fettuccine."

Elsewhere, Argos's morning was going about three trillion times better than Aurora's. He smiled at the blushing Ava in his arms and said, "I can't really remember it too well, but I think so, judging by the lack of clothing and the position we're in. And a very good morning to you as well." Argos didn't feel like moving at all, his legs were tangled with Ava's and he rather liked it that way. Before he knew what he was even doing, he leaned forward and kissed Ava; for some reason it felt right to him. He didn't care about anything else at the moment, just her. He broke the kiss after a few moments and said, "I'd offer to cook you breakfast, but I really don't want to move right now." He spoke honestly, not wanting the best morning he had ever had to go to waste.

Argos heard Aurora's muffled complaining from outside their door, and sighed before asking, "I don't think they'll let us sleep in all day... But then again, I don't really care what they want." He smiled and got a little closer to Ava, inhaling lightly and enjoying their mingling scents. Why did it take him so long and copious amounts of drugs to do this? Why hadn't he noticed her? He couldn't think of why, all he could think of was how to make up for lost time.

Vincent couldn't help it - he tried, he truly did - but he couldn't keep his face from splitting into a grin. And then he laughed, a big, deep belly laugh that very nearly made his eyes water. Vince knew he would probably upset Aurora - it had just been so long since someone had told him off or scolded him - it felt good to be put in his place for once. Refreshing.

When Vince finally quieted down, he took a deep breath and smiled at Aurora. "I'm sorry, I honestly had no idea there was another bathroom. I'll use the upstairs bathroom from now on." Vince grinned around another bite of cereal, "I'll finish those potatoes and the fettuccine after my second bowl."

With that, Vincent tipped his bowl up and drank the remainder of the milk, and poured himself another bowl. He continued to lean against the kitchen counter as he ate, taking a few minutes to enjoy the comfortable silence between the two as they are. Vince figured because he had been partially responsible for her mood (the other part he would blame on her not being a "morning person") he would play nice for a little while, and let her relax.

It occurred to him he should also probably get dressed at some point. As much as Vince wouldn't mind spending the day in only a towel, the others might. He resolved to change into one of the track suits their captors had provided, after he was finished breakfast.

Ava smiled and felt like the luckiest person on the planet. This very well might be the best day of her life. Argos leaned forward, and gave Ava a soft, lingering kiss that left her breathless with joy. "I think this might be the best day of my life." she admitted honestly. For so long she had wondered - but never dared hope for - something like this to happen between the two of them. She had envisioned the circumstances leading up to this differently, but what mattered was the results, and this was better than she ever dreamed.

Argos pulled Ava closer, and she couldn't quite stifle the sigh of happiness that escaped her. Ava seemed to fit seamlessly into the contours of Argos's body, like she belonged there all along. "We'll have to feed you...at some point." Ava was reluctant to leave the room as well, content to stay cuddled up with Argos for as long as she could manage, possibly forever.

Aurora wasn't as amused by the whole ordeal as Vincent was, but his laughter was rather infectious, though the most it got from her was a scoff and a bit of a smile. Aurora continued to pick at her food until she was finished with the food she had on her plate, sighing and carrying her dishes to the kitchen. She noted Vincent's lack of clothing and said, "We should both probably put clothes on. If we don't, Argos might jump to conclusions and beat you to death with that bowl of cereal." She set the dishes in the sink and debated waiting for her clothes to be done in the laundry, but figured it would be too long for her to just hang about in a towel.

Shrugging to herself, Aurora walked out of the kitchen and headed to her room, moving to the closet and looking for one of the suits that would fit her. It was hard finding normal clothes that fit her correctly, being as tall as she was, but these suits were pretty much custom made for werewolves, so it was easy to get one that fit her. It was surprisingly comfortable, and if it weren't so ugly, Aurora might actually wear it. Shaking her hair out and fixing it a bit, Aurora stepped back out of the room, the jumpsuit half zipped up. Sighing, she moved over to the door that Argos and Ava had disappeared behind last night and knocked, saying loud enough for them to hear her, "Come on you two, it's time to get your butts out of bed. If you guys miss breakfast, you don't get to eat till dinner." This was Aurora's regular strategy for dealing with stubborn sleepy werewolves in the morning; if they missed breakfast, they couldn't have lunch.

Argos smiled at Ava and was about to reply to her comment when there was a knock and Aurora's voice drifted through the door. Sighing, Argos frowned a little and said, "We really should get up and have breakfast before she gets mad at us for sleeping in. Come on, I'll cook you something good." Argos kissed Ava again and sat up, yawning lightly and really only wanting to lay back down with Ava. Stretching his arms above his head, he untangled his legs and swung them over the side of the bed; stand up and looking at their discarded clothes on the ground. "Hm... Looks like I need to buy another suit when we get out of here." He reached down and looked at the tattered remains of his suit and Ava's shirt, chuckling lightly. Standing up, he moved to the closet and grabbed two jumpsuits, tossing one to Ava. They even had one in his size, which was surprising, normally all his clothes were custom tailored. He quickly got dressed and smiled at Ava, wishing that their first night together could have been under better circumstances.

Vincent chuckled. "I think Argos is probably feeling too good for murder right now." All the same, he didn't want to take a chance. Vincent sighed, thinking longingly of the fettuccine and potatoes still in the fridge, and put his dishes in the sink.

He followed Aurora out of the kitchen, and took the stairs three at a time up to his room, where he tossed his towel over the closet door and drew on one of the many identical pairs of track pants. He grabbed the zip up sweater and threw it over his shoulder. With a quick grin at his reflection, Vincent hurried back downstairs, bare feet thumping despite the carpet.

He returned just in time to hear Aurora threatening Argos and Ava with missing lunch, and thought there was a fate worse than death after all. Only when unconscious did members of his pack ever skip a meal. Vince headed for the fridge and pulled out four bottles of water - the love birds would probably be thirsty after last night.

Sporting a barely concealed grin, Vincent set the bottles of water on the table and opened one for himself as he sat down on the couch and put his feet up, waiting for the other two A's to emerge so they could figure out what the plan was for the day.

Ava couldn't help but blush again as Argos kissed her, a smile lighting her face. Her answering yawn didn't stop Ava from marveling at the way Argos's muscles bunched beneath his skin as he stretched. Ava wanted nothing more than to touch him, to know what his every movement felt like, and vowed some day she would.

As Argos stood, the blankets fell away, and Ava had to stifle a gasp. Seeing him standing there before her like that brought the heat back to her body, and she dropped her eyes, still somewhat shy despite their new found intimacy. Ava attempted to hide her gasp behind her hand and disguise it as a giggle. She had a feeling many more articles of their clothing would meet a similar fate if they kept this up. The thought made Ava smile.

She caught the clothing Argos threw to her and stood when she was certain Argos's attention was elsewhere. She turned her back to him as she dressed - some old habits died hard - and was zipping up the sweater as she turned back to him, returning his smile. "Ready." Ava nodded as Argos opened the door. She blushed again as she saw Aurora standing just outside the room, and Vincent lounging on the couch, but her shoulders were square, her eyes as alert as ever as she met their gazes.

Aurora smiled as the door was opened before she had to knock again. She noted the smile on Ava's face and figured she could ask about how much fun she had later. Argos had a similar mood about him, like he had just woke up from the best sleep he had ever had. "About time you two. Me and Vincent already had breakfast. There's some leftover potatoes and fettuccine in the fridge, but I'm guessing you're going to cook something Argos?" Aurora decided to leave it for now and headed back to the living room, grabbing one of the bottles of water for herself and sitting at the other end of the couch from Vincent. She figured Ava and Argos could both use some food in their system before they really started their day, considering they had missed dinner, though Aurora wouldn't say they really missed it. She wondered when their captors would contact them today, and what they had in store for them, but decided to just not think about it for now, and enjoy the relative peace.

Argos chuckled and responded to Aurora with a grin, "Once a chef, always a chef. I can't not cook." Despite his stature, and the fact that many people labeled him as big angry brute, Argos wasn't that at all. Well maybe a little bit, but he had quite the knack for cooking. Before he was turned into a werewolf, he was head chef at a five star restaurant, and he was quite the expert. Even as pack Alpha, he cooked for the pack on a regular basis, and they always enjoyed his meals. He stepped past the coffee table, snatching up one of the bottles of water and quickly taking a drink; he was dehydrated after last night's activities. Looking over the kitchen, he got everything set up for a bit of cooking, he was going to make a hearty breakfast for him and Ava. If his own hunger was any indication, they were both going to need a lot of food.

While Argos was in the kitchen preparing food, there was a click and a familiar and annoying voice rang in Aurora's ears. "Good morning you four. glad to see you're all up and about." Aurora growled and replied, "Can't you just leave us alone? We're trying to have a nice, quiet morning here." The voice on the other end simply chuckled and replied, "Someone has a bit of an attitude. Well, I could leave you be for a few more hours, but considering the smashing success of yesterday's experiment, we've decided to start early today. We're looking forward to another excellent show today, though not quite as... sexual in nature as last night." The voice chuckled lightly and the sound of breaking glass could be heard from the kitchen as Argos crushed a plate in his hand. Aurora swore and replied, "Well what do you want today?" She growled loud enough so the voice could hear her, wherever they were. "Well, we're going to give the two love birds a break today, so we're taking you, rude one, and the other male for testing. Some guards will be along shortly to escort you. Do i need to suggest you not struggle?" Aurora got even angrier now, and was about to curse the voice into oblivion before there was a click and she knew that they couldn't hear her anymore. Scoffing, she crossed her arms and waited on the couch for their "escorts" to arrive.
PostPosted: Thu May 03, 2012 8:18 pm

Ava shot Aurora a subtle smile, so her Alpha wouldn't have cause to worry about her. Now that she was standing, Ava realized she was sore. However, it was not painful, rather the sort of tenderness and uncomfort of protesting muscles after a particularly rigorous work-out. Well, rigorous is one word for it. Ava thought. She couldn't wait for a later time when she would be able to speak with Aurora privately about last night.

Ava smiled up at Argos when he mentioned he'd be making breakfast. Her stomach rumbled loudly, agreeing with the cooking arrangements. Argos was a brilliant chef - Ava had never had a meal she didn't like if Argos was cooking. Even when he incorporated her least favourite foods into a dish, it was delicious. Her own cooking skills, unfortunately, were limited to meals that had an exact recipe - ones that told her what she would need, how much, and when to add it. I'll have to make a point of letting Argos teach me. she thought to herself as she grabbed the remaining bottle of water from the table and followed Argos into the kitchen.

Standing back out of Argos's way, Ava stood at the end of the kitchen counter and watched Argos work. It wasn't long before their was a clicking noise, and a voice sounded throughout the room. Ava was instantly on alert, her pale blue eyes scanning the room for any sign of a speaker, some trace of where the voice was coming from.

Her cheeks burned slightly as the human made a reference to last night, and watched as Argos crushed a plate he'd been holding in his hand. Ava placed a calming hand on his arm and shook her head slightly. Her eyes widened as she turned to Aurora, it was all she could do to keep her mouth from hanging open, incredulous. "They can't be serious, Aurora."

Vincent had to bite back a growl of his own. "Nothing sexual. Well that's a relief." Vincent's tone was sarcastic, but he was rigid, not moving and barely breathing, having sat straight up when the voice started. His mind was moving three thousand miles a minute.

Vince was somewhat appeased - at least for Aurora's sake - that the testing was nothing sexual. That would merely complicate things further. They were allies for now, but who knew how long that would last once they were free? With his mind spinning, Vince asked "Would anyone care to venture a guess as to what this is about?" He didn't turn to face the others in the room, instead kept his gaze locked upon the door he knew the guards would enter through.

Argos growled and set the broken plate on the counter before rounding on Vincent and saying, "They're going to be taking her over my dead body. I could care less what happens to you pretty boy." He growled and tensed as he glanced in the direction of the front door, waiting for the humans to come through and try and take Aurora. She was his Alpha and he was her Beta, it was his responsibility to protect her from any threats. Add to that, the fact that Argos was very protective of Aurora in the first place. The two of them had been an item some time ago, but Aurora had ended it because she was worried it would interfere with both of their duties as Alpha and Beta respectively. Argos had respected her decision, and moved on, though his feelings were still sort of there.

Aurora sighed at Argos and replied, "Argos, it's fine. I'll cooperate with them for now, no need to go getting ourselves hurt just because they want to run some tests on us. Besides, this one will probably just be a physical ability test or something. Maybe they'll have us change and see what we can do." She was quick to ease his and Ava's concern, but in truth she wasn't really sure what they had in mind for her and Vincent. The voice had said it wasn't the same thing as yesterday, but she didn't think she could trust them. She wondered about what the effects of whatever they pumped Ava and Argos full of felt like, but tried not to think about it instead focusing on the current situation. "Look, remember the plan, we go along with their tests and such for now, and when we have a good plan and opportunity, we escape. Argos, you keep an eye on Ava, go use the physical activity area if you need a run. It's out the back door." Aurora didn't try to tell Vincent what to do, because she wasn't his Alpha, and that might cause problems between the two of them.

Vincent didn't turn to face Argos when he spoke, gave no indication Vince had heard him at all. There was no point in poking a sleeping bear, after all. He had more important things to concentrate on, anyway. Like trying to figure out what the hell these humans were going to do to him, and how to best prepare for the situation.

Vince was vaguely aware of Aurora talking Argos down, but he paid them little mind, watching to door that led into the house. He was debating the best way to handle the situation. There was no way of knowing what the humans would do, so causing a scene this early might be a bad move. The werewolves had only seen one of the tests, but it seemed someone in the chain of command had at least somewhat of an understanding of the way the weres bodies would respond to certain chemicals and scents.

The door clicked open, and twenty soldiers armed with stun guns poured into the room.
"You two, stay in the kitchen." One of the soldiers commanded, the entire force tightening their grip on their weapons. Vince was watching the soldiers, looking for points of weakness, or distinguishing characteristics. "You two on the couch, stand up and come with us." Vincent was on his feet in a flash, standing in front of the soldier who had spoken, just out of reach of the weapon. "We do not take orders from you, human." Vincent snarled. "Don't be deceived. We allow the testing because it suits our purposes. There is not a chance in Hell a human could bend us to their will. You would be wise to remember that."

Threat delivered, Vincent stood quietly, waiting for Aurora to stand and join him.
"You should know," One of the officers squeaked, nodding at Argos and Ava, "The doors to the Physical Activity Area have been locked. You will not be permitted to enter for the duration of our tests."

Argos growled at the insolent humans and asked, "Well if we can't do that, what are we supposed to do?" The one doing the talking scoffed and replied, "Whatever you like, why not do what you did last night? Give the guys behind the camera another show?" Despite Aurora's orders to stay where he was Argos quickly stepped forward and grabbed the man by the throat, lifting him up and squeezing his neck until he heard a crunch, then dropping him on the floor as he felt the first stun gun touch him. He growled and swatted the man with the first stun gun away like he was made of paper; with more guards filing in to take him on, he simply fought them until they stunned him into unconsciousness. With Argos subdued, the remainder of the guards split between helping the wounded and escorting Aurora and Vincent.

Aurora growled and sighed, standing just as Argos started his fight with the guards. She didn't like watching him do this, but even she couldn't stop him when he got like this. Once he was out of commission, Aurora looked to Ava and said, "Take care of him, we'll be back soon." Aurora brushed past the guards, who followed with their stun guns at the ready, waiting for her to make a move; she wouldn't. Despite her anger at the guards, fighting would only cause trouble for her and the others, not their captors. She walked through the halls quietly, stopping and looking at one of the guards when she reached an intersection. The guard gestured to one of the halls with his stun gun and she silently went down that hall. They were wary of her, not wanting to get her angry after what Argos did. It didn't take her too long to reach their destination. A medical testing lab of some sort, with various medical equipment in it.

One of the doctors gestured to her, motioning for her to sit down on one of the beds they had. She sat down and the doctor said, rather politely,
"Now hold still and this won't hurt a bit. We're going to take a blood test first, then we can proceed with the actual test." He pressed a syringe gun to her neck and pulled the trigger, it clamped down on her skin and drew some of her blood. Once he had finished he removed the syringe from her neck and took the vial of blood he had extracted out of the syringe gun, handing it to a nurse who carried it away to do something or other with it. The doctor smiled lightly at Aurora and said, "There, not so painful was it? We'll be able to move onto the actual test soon." It was unnerving to Aurora; the doctor was acting like it was a simple visit to the doctor's office, even though she was a captive against her will. Something was off about him, but she couldn't tell what.

Vincent stole a glance over his shoulder as he and Aurora were herded out of the house. Ava was kneeling beside Argos, a pillow stolen from the couch placed under his head.

The door to the house slammed shut behind the last of the soldiers, and Vincent turned back around. He attempted to keep track of where they were headed, but his gaze kept sliding over to Aurora, assessing how well she was holding up. Aurora looked to be holding it together, but Vince knew she was hanging on by a thread - this wasn't even his pack and he was tense, worrying about how these tests were going to effect them.

Aurora and Vince were led into a room that looked like it doubled as an operating site. It was clean, sterile, and very, very white, the artificial light glinting off the metal surgical instruments. One doctor motioned for Aurora to sit down on a bed nearest him, and other doctor motioned for Vince to do the same, with a bed separating Aurora from Vince.

He was shot in the neck as well, his blood filling the vial. His was also handed to a nurse, who made off with it in the same fashion as the one with Aurora's sample. These doctors set Vincent's teeth on edge. It was a physical effort for him not to show his teeth and growl.

"Just get on with it." He muttered as a nurse returned with a different syringe filled with an unidentifiable clear liquid. Vince offered his left arm, the nurse applying the tourniquet above his bicep. "Deep breath in....there you go. Let it out. Good. You're going to start to feel drowsy. That's a powerful sedative, you'll be asleep within moments."

"Yeah, because you have to give them enough to put down three elephants." The guards laughed, and Vincent had half a mind to leap off the bed and throttle the b*****d, if his damn legs weren't so heavy. He fought the sedative the whole way, realizing the nurse hadn't told him exactly what they were going to actually drug him with. Vince tried to ask, but his tongue was like a large cotton ball in his mouth. As his eyes started to close, Vince stole one last glance at Aurora - her eyelids were drooping too, but he could tell she was also fighting to remain conscious for as long as possible. He made a silent promise that no harm would come to her.

Aurora woke up quickly, sitting up rapidly as her eyes shot open. The adrenaline concoction they had pumped into her system was making her heart beat like a jackhammer. She sighed and took deep breaths to try and calm herself when she noticed Vincent was already up and standing, with his back turned to her. Sighing, she was glad he looked okay as she got to her feet. Walking over to him she put her hand on his shoulder and said, "Well, aside from my heart firing like a machine gun, it seems that nothing they did had any effect huh?" Aurora smiled as she waited for a response from him. When he didn't reply, that was when she noticed something was off. Her senses immediately picked up on what she had missed before; Vincent was shaking slightly, and his scent was different almost like he was. "Oh s**t." Was all Aurora could manage to say before she moved around in front of Vincent, noting the signs of the change approaching on his face. She tried to get him to snap out of it to no avail, and quickly decided the only thing she could really do was get him out of his clothes so he didn't rip them apart when he did change. She managed to get his shirt off and start on his pants when Vincent's change started. She gave up on trying to get his shoes off and simply backed away, watching as Vincent's involuntary change went on.

Argos awoke on the floor in the living room, with a pillow behind his head. He was confused for a moment but quickly remembered what had happened. Sighing, he closed his eyes for a moment before trying to stand up; every muscle in his body ached, most likely due to the electricity that had overloaded his system and made him pass out. The amount they had shocked him with probably would have electrocuted a normal person to death. Sighing again he held his throbbing head for a moment then called out, not seeing Ava nearby, "Ava? You here? Ugh..." It wasn't long before he felt he had to lay back down again, his head was absolutely killing him, it felt like his head was about to split open.

Vincent woke up in motion. Before he was even fully conscious he was standing up. Vince could hear his pulse pounding in his ears, beating as fast as a humming birds wings. His skin started to prickle, and his eyes flew open. The Change. Damn the Change.

Vincent took two ragged breaths, and tried to calm down. Sweat poured down his spine and matted his hair to his forehead. Vince looked down at Aurora. I hope she's alright. I should really make sure she's alrig - He clamped his teeth together, jaw and neck muscles straining to keep back the growl he felt building in his throat. Vince spun away from Aurora and took to halting steps away.

She won't be alright if you don't get this under control, Vincent. He thought to himself, and tried to focus on breathing deep and calming the muscle spasms that had started in his arms and legs. Vince could feel thick hair beginning to sprout on his hands. He was so distracted trying to fight back the change, stay still and control his racing heart that he didn't even notice Aurora until she laid a hand on his shoulder. "....machine gun...any effect....oh s**t."

Words were starting to lose their meaning. Vince had some vague notion that parts of his clothing were being removed, but Damn it, my heart... Vince clutched his chest and folded in on himself, gasping as pain radiated out from his chest ----

Vince threw his head back and howled. His pupils dilated into slits as his bones broke and re-formed, his hands turned into claws and tore away his flesh, revealing the fur beneath. Pain. Change. Change. Pain, pain PAIN.

The transformation ended and Vincent roared, long and loud, saliva dripping off of six inch fangs that could puncture clean through a human femur. The 8'4" creature stood panting for a moment, but only a moment. The adrenaline coursing through his system that had forced the change also forced the beast to move. As he turned to face the trees, a scent wafted by. Female The beast turned, focusing in on the scent and moving towards it.

Ava had gone to the kitchen to fetch a few bottles of water, figuring Argos would want some when he woke up. Ava grabbed an ice pack too, just for good measure. She hoped this wouldn't become a habit of his - getting tasered enough to pass out. Yes, they were werewolves, but there was a limit, even for them, and Ava was worried about him.

She loaded up her arms with water and was on her way back to the living room when she heard Argos groan, and call out for her. "I'm here, you big dumb brute." She said with a smile as she knelt down, handed him a water, and pressed the cold compress to the side of his head. "How're you feeling?" Ava asked earnestly, her troubled blue eyes searching his face for any sign he was hiding a more severe injury.

As the extremely dangerous werewolf in front of her howled, Aurora backed away slowly. She wasn't sure how a forced change would affect Vincent, but it would probably be about as bad as any other forced change; very. She barely made a sound, but knew it wouldn't do her any good once Vincent caught sight of her or found her scent. She had hoped for at least a little more time in trying to get away, but Were-Vincent turned on her and started moving towards her. Aurora wasn't exactly worried, but she wasn't exactly confident either. Vincent was an Alpha, which meant he had an underlying desire to conquer. She hoped he could restrain himself a little, but that didn't seem likely. Normally werewolves were fairly intelligent, if brutish, creatures. Their intelligence decreased when they changed, mostly because of their increased senses, but they were by no means unintelligent while in werewolf form.

Aurora figured she would try to reason with Vincent, hoping it would work somehow. "Come on now Vincent, just calm down. You don't want to do this, don't forget who your real enemy is." Aurora was just a bit nervous, but her voice didn't show it; Vincent was thee leader of a rival pack, and she was technically his enemy, she didn't know what werewolf Vincent would actually do. He may very well try to attack her and either rip her to shreds or force her into submission. She honestly hoped it was the first one, because an angry forced changed werewolf was one thing, an angry, sexed up, forced changed werewolf was an entirely different matter. One she could feasibly match toe to toe, the other would just be all out relentless in attacking.

Argos sighed when he heard Ava speak, glad nothing had happened to her while he was out. Sighing, he took the bottle of water she offered him and took a sip, smiling at her and answering, "I'm alright, just got a hell of a headache, thanks." He reached up and put his hand over her hand hold the compress to the side of his head. Exhaling lightly, he tried to shake off the haze brought on due to the pain in his head. Smiling, he thought of something he could do and he pulled Ava down onto the floor next to him and asking, " Are you alright? They didn't do anything to you after I passed out did they?" He was honestly more worried about her than he was himself, but that was the nature of a Beta, to be worried about everyone else.
