Follow she did, peering around cautiously again, gasping as another creature seemed to run by Otto.
“That was fast!” Molly noted. Once again, she side stepped around the teen, and lanced the monster, clipping it. It had a pretty bad recoil though! Just like that mist monster they just fought.

Otto's weapon glowed with power, Tenya humming in his mind and ready to dish out some pain. Otto only managed to spin the boomerang a couple of times at the enemy before it's attack pushed him backward.

Despite the attacks it dished out to the both of them, this one seemed to be going down quicker than the last enemy they fought, which was good.
Molly lanced the creature again, clipping it once more. Where as she felt ready to keep on going earlier, her FEAR shield was getting worn down bit by bit once more. Just a bit longer, and not only that, but Vaska was humming and ready to go again!

Much like their last fight, something within Otto was itching not to be outdone. He raised Tenya up and swung at the smaller monster, dissipating it on impact.
Otto rolled his shoulders after dismissing Tenya, looking back at Molly over his shoulder. "You don't look so good." He said in a flat tone. Otto, being a Death intermediate, was much more innate at evading damage than the Mist trainee.

Molly released another relieved sigh as Otto dealt the finishing blow. Vaska was starting to feel heavier, and it was at this time Molly could recognize when her shield was probably too low. Her brows furrowed and her lips twisted though as she turned to look at Otto.
“…But…but the Canon Cats…” She whimpered.

Was she seriously whimpering?
Otto rolled his eyes and scoffed. "Oh my God, woman." He muttered rubbing his temples. Would she seriously lay down her life for some Fear creatures? He sighed and lifted his gaze to stare at her judgementally. "You didn't seriously believe you could come out here and defeat an entire infestation of these things with just us, did ya?"
He had a feeling he knew the answer.
"It's gonna take days... weeks! Maybe months!"

Except Molly couldn’t see Otto’s judgmental stare. Because he was wearing sunglasses. In a dark room. The young woman’s eyes got misty as her lip wibbled. “ I…I just want to hug them all now…but I can’t!” She sobbed. “ Days and weeks and months are a long time, Otto!”

Molly sniffled, wiping her face with a sleeve, but once the water works had started, it was hard to stop. “ Y-you really think they’ll be okay?” She sobbed again, and than babbled something incoherent around her sleeve and the sniffling and the tears. “ Those poor Canon Cats!” She lamented. “ We’ll be back as soon as we can!” She cried out to the dark corners of the lab. “… O-oh…and sleepers too!” Such an afterthought.

"I can't believe you value those stupid fur balls over PEOPLE!" Otto grouched loudly, huffing and starting to leave Molly behind. The blonde teen was almost surprised at himself for giving a s**t about the sleepers, but hey, he'd been one too once upon a time. Hell, he celebrated his 17th birthday in that damn pod. He was more than fine leaving that girl to cry over her stupid kitties... Somehow though, he stopped. Molly was a girl.. crying... by herself. ....SIGH. Otto turned back around and grabbed Molly's hand, dragging her toward the underground base again. "You ain't the only hunter, a'ight? Tons of other suckers are out here clearinn' up this mess too. Yer damn cats will be fine."

Molly just sniffled harder, rubbing her eyes vigorously with her sleeves and babbling something else incoherent. She stood there still as Otto started to march off, and let out a surprised squeak as he grabbed her hand, but she didn’t fight as he started to drag her out. "Yes. Yes they will." Otto insisted with a grouchy attitude. He had nothing to back up his claims, but as he said earlier; he wasn't the only hunter fighting. "So quit yer cryin' and rest up at base."
Man, at this rate, Otto's rep as an uncaring a*****e was going down the toilet. He'd have to fix that sometime..
