Ami didn't trust this situation one bit. A bunch of guys saying, "hey go run over there, don't get lost!" It was pretty fishy.
The job description for hunters was "do fishy things" though, so on she went. She heard whispers, odd humming noises, strange sounds, and tried to follow it, only to end up at a wall. Shiiiit.
How annoying.

Feng did something really crazy this time. It was risky, really. But he took a different path. A different one. And then suddenly he could see leaders up ahead, and people already making groups. He was fine being grouped by division! He lumped himself in with his mist buddies happily, following them to the next part of the assignment.

Trying to navigate his way around, Deryk soon heard a sort of whistling nearby. Furrowing his brow, he quickly started to move out of the way, but he still took a bit of a hit from a spear being flung at him. This place was really dangerous!

Harrison stepped into the maze, into the dark. He held B0nez aloft.
The light from B0nez's skull almost seemed to be sucked up by the black.
Okay, I know this one, you need to keep heading left, B0nez said.
As the walls closed in, lateral movement seemed like less and less of an option.

Thank god that was over, one more minute in there and she was ready to kick some teeth. Why didn't they have a portal set up OUTSIDE the labyrinth?

OH FOR CHRIST'S SAKE!!
Cass barely rounded a corner when the ceiling collapsed down on her, causing her to swear and step back as rocks fell down and trapped her leg. She swore, half sprawled on the ground before she was able to sit up and actually free her leg out from underneath them, hissing in pain.

Ami decided to just hang out in the dead end for a while. Maybe a pathway would open up? Or maybe a tiny catepillar would say "'ALLO!" and show her the way. Damn she loved that movie.
After a few moment though, nothing really happened. Best to just be on her way.

It was dark on the other side of the portal; Jordan moved off to the side and closed his eyes to encourage them to adjust faster. When he opened his eyes again, he could make out figures in the gloom, the glow of runic daggers marking a path, the bobbing circles of light where a few Hunters had flashlights. He debated with himself briefly as to whether he should summon Ferros now; the weapon's glyphs and the tracework of glowing red lines that ran around the hammer's head would cast a fair amount of light, but carrying Ferros summoned was always awkward in tight quarters. He decided not to summon, for now. He could do it later if he needed more light.
As he followed the path, it seemed to grow darker; he could barely see branchings and corridors that reminded him unpleasantly of the lair from which they'd retrieved tablets. Was this a lair? Probably. He wouldn't assume, but it was definitely similar.
He paused for a few seconds as a rumbling sound began. How far had he gone, and where was he now? It was hard to tell in the oppressive darkness, and the rumbling sounded unsettlingly like it was getting closer. He summoned Ferros now; the faint reflections off the walls confirmed that the walls were indeed moving. Go back, or go forward?
Forward. He ran for it.
He made it past the section of moving wall, but only barely; as he jumped for the doorway, the encroaching walls scraped against his shoulders, and Ferros growled low. Another few rapid strides took him out of range of the walls as they slammed together with a disturbingly final grating sound.

Oh so those were the traps he was talking about. Ami shrieked like a banshee (ahaha) when the arrows hit her leg, stunting her process in the maze.
Well things were going to be a lot harder now. She sat down for a moment to pull the arrow out (which was pretty hard considering she wasn't very good at first aid) and patted the wound down with her pants the best she could. She didn't really have time for proper leg care. She'd just have to carry on.

After he got the arrows out it was time to move on and shortly there after he found his way toward where he apparently needed to be. He saw everyone being grouped off and thus he went toward his little grouping so he could follow them to wherever they were happening to go. He felt a bit uneasy after that whole trap snafu but all in all he was pretty proud of himself for getting this far without ... a lot of complications.
Even Yom seemed pleased and that is all he could ask for.
