Free again Mitsu made a hasty retreat away from the water's edge. "Maybe somewhere else would be a good idea..." She murmured.
Gripping Shun's hand she looked out of the scenery. "Maybe you should lead this time." She suggested ready to follow Shun out.

No seriously, there was sand all over her everything. And in her bra. And in her panties. EVERYWHERE. Shehk sat down next to the body of water to pull her shoes off, dumping said sand out of them and wiggling her toes in the fresh air. Oooohh, that actually felt really nice!

Shehk suddenly was dragged underneath the surface of the water, splashing around in protest before she pulled herself out, soaking wet and looking very unhappy. Not having to breath had benefits, but again the phone thing had to happen.Blade Kuroda Text to Jericho: I think a plant just tried to drown me.....

Mea had become preoccupied with wondering over the plants that she had ducked away from her comrades to stare back over the water. It was such strangeness to her that in a place where vegetation was scarce that they would behave so oddly. While she heard voices from far off she began to walk along the waters edge around the bank, giving a wide berth to the various clumps of reeds. Even from this distance they seemed to move with her body and she stopped, moving near a clump.
Moving through it they did the same as before and she turned with hands raised to try to get the others attention. As she turned she could already tell that the reeds had stopped and were silent again. Frowning, she punched a few lightly with a balled hand and groaned in aggravation. If Fallow and Dev could only see it then maybe they'd try to figure out the mystery of it all with her. Shrugging her shoulders with a huff she pried herself out of the clump and sat along the bank.
Under her the sand shifted in a light breeze and she closed her eyes with a fond smile. The warmth wasn't something she was used to but the sand was such a familiar and happy thing that she wished she had come here sooner. For a moment she remained in that tranquil state, just sitting by the bank.

Blade Kuroda Text to Jericho: You'd get sand all up in your scales! Then you'd have to clean it out like I'm going to have to clean all this sand off of me after my kelpie-plant incident. =( I don't like it here too much so far. It's warm though, that's nice.

Deciding rather abruptly just how much he did not like the sand here, Fallow rumbled softly under his breath and trotted over to Mea, his tail wavering back and forth and ears pricked to all of the new sounds. It seemed as though many others were arriving now, and even as interesting as they were, he was not going to simply stand around here much longer waiting for the sand to climb down the back of his shirt. Tapping on Mea's shoulder, the Púca rumbled a sort of hello before sliding past her and towards the underground path's they'd come out of before. "I am going to explore the other places, I do not much like sand I've decided," He called back to her, "Tell Dev for me? She seems distracted right now..."
To which the Púca was somewhat displeased.
Waving his hand again, Fallow trotted into the shade of the path they'd taken and slipped into the darkness, wondering whether or not he would find anymore fascinating things around Famine before he moved on. And hopefully things that were fascinating and not located in such sandy areas as well. Fallow's ears folded back and he keened disapprovingly into the tunnel mouth. That would not be fun at all.

Dev chuckled at Shun. “Yea, seems so.” She curiously looked around the oasis to notice a few more students wandering about. Her eyes lit up when she saw a familiar canine—Tybalt. Just as she moved to head toward him, but a bug drew too close to her ears. She growled, batting her own ear to swat the locust away, but the sound continued stubbornly. Dev shook her head, walking away from Tybalt while she drew the bugs away from her. By the time she returned to Mea and Fallow, she blinked and realized they were one member short. Fallow had walked off! Her lips pursed together and she grabbed the mouryou. “Candlejack! ‘at wee puca left withit us!” Huffing, the ghoul walked back into the tunnel, but not before furiously texting Bon.Honeybii We're still in Famine, but we've just left the oasis okay.
