Their movements were starting to become predictable, dodge and miss, dodge and miss, and Elleth couldn't say that she wasn't enjoying it. This Dovaa, Samril, was turning out to be quite fast and he didn't waste his breath by taunting her like her normal sparring partners did.
Taking half a step to the side Elleth side stepped Samril's punch and countered with another jab.

Samril grinned. He was rather enjoying this. Sure, they weren't hitting... or talking... or doing much of anything other than duck and miss. But in a way, it was fun. He was getting to practice with a new friend! And new friends are always fun!
He tried another punch. If this didn't work, well, he'd have to rethink things.

Arms came up to block the attack and barely felt the lightest tap before she was spinning around and jabbing at his sides again. They were, in a strange way, dancing. A dance of war, or in this case, just a friendly match between races that should hate each other.

And she blocked his punch so easily. Then again, he hadn't put much behind it either. He dodged sideways, thinking fast. He was becoming too predictable. Punch, punch, punch... Perhaps he should try a headbutt again to mix things up...

Elleth flinched as she managed to block the headbutt, barely missing getting hit by those wicked wicked horns. Grunting she stepped to one side and struck out with an open palm. She didn't want to admit it, but she was starting to get a little tired.

Elleth wasn't the only one getting tired. But Samril was not about to suggest taking a break. He had a feeling she wouldn't agree anyways, so why bother bringing it up? Instead, he dodged the palm strike and countered with a punch.

It was getting easier and harder to dodge and block, harder because she was flagging and easier because so was he. Elleth dodged the punch and lashed out with another palm strike.

Samril was a bit slow to see that strike coming but managed to duck under the weak blow just in time. He brought up his fists to feint a punch while actually attempting another headbutt from his crouched position.

Elleth fell for the feignt, but her sidestep had her out of reach of the headbutt that was the true attack. Seeing this made her grin almost wickedly at him as she pushed strands of lavender out of her face.
She refused to go down without landing at least one more blow to Samril's too pretty face. Another nose bop would make her happy enough to surrender, never mind actually coming out the victor in this spontaneous bout of combat. With this new determination she smacked her palm out, aiming towards the head that had tried to headbutt her again.

"Ooooooowwwwwww!" Samril's hands went to his nose, where the palm strike had landed. Dabbing at the injury, the Dovaa glanced at his hands to see blood. Great. She'd gotten his nose to bleeding! And it really hurt!
The strike had caused his eyes to water and he grimaced from the pain and tried to blink and clear his vision. He didn't doubt she'd follow up that strike if he wasn't quick enough to get moving. Still half-blinded by tears, he tried for a punch, hoping to at least keep her back for a bit so he could see clearly once more.

She was surprised to see that she'd drawn blood, and shifted almost guiltily in spot as Samril inspected the damage a bit. "I-" Elleth started, but had to jump out of the way of a wildly swung punch. Frowning the girl snarled out, "Fine!", and swiped out with a Jab of her own. If he wasn't going to give her time to apologize, well, it must mean that the injury didn't hurt as much as she thought it would have.

Samril paused for a moment as his vision cleared. Had she looked.... sorry? He quickly sidestepped the rather fast jab. Maybe he'd just imagined that...
He tried another punch. No more headbutts for a while! She could counterstrike too easily on those!!

Elleth hissed as the attack bypassed her own to get her firmly in the chest. Stumbling back she winced as she rubbed the spot. If she were older that attack would have hurt a lot more! As it was she felt as if her ribs were bruised, which she knew was impossible from just one hit like that one. Now getting struck in the chest by lets say, a dragons tail, now that would have her bruised and probably broken.
Hopping back another step Elleth darted off to one side and slid in close, striking out with an open palm.
