Mercy was an exchange student. She had no idea who these people were, but she was sure with her looks, finding new friends would be easy. She took what the person on the stage said. She played with her dolls, male and female. Right now she had animated them to play with each other. In case a tear happened, she had her cut tape to patch them up. Her ears perked when she heard about the overall homework. Sounded easy enough. all she had to do was enchant a crystal into recording what she saw. It was easy enough... she hoped.

The auditorium seemed to be back in the full swing of things, students chattering away and finding one another; obviously already knowing their peers and having their friends. Olivia remained where she was seated, hands gently on her lap and comfortable just enough with those around her even if they weren't talking to her.

The pale ghoul's attention had been fully on the secretary as he gave his lecture, instructions and words of warning? Well, they seemed like them anyways, but it seemed simple enough in a situation like this. Even though Olivia didn't totally get it. She had signed herself up with enough information at hand, but with so much else she was pretty clueless. Would be easy enough to remedy after all, she had come here to learn and learning she was intending to do.

For now, her blue eyes just scanned the room. Lingering on various interesting looking individuals here and there.

Lailah, was one among many students in the crowd. She sat quietly through the announcement, captivated by the crowd around her. She had made several attempts to socialize, but everytime she did, she was left with nothing. As a new student, she was unfamiliar with the other students and teachers, at a loss at what to say, or do. "U-um." She wished she could have sunk back into the shadows, but willpower kept her going through. It was important, that she be here. This would be her first experience with the four horsemen clans, which promised to be a significant event,

Thinking back to her classes-- conquest and famine-- had her wondering what would happen next.

Well, she could only hope for the best.

Looking at her with concern, Shun looked her over before letting out a sigh. Yes. He was definitely worried about her. There was a slight suspicion that her zoning out here had something to do with what happened recently. It didn't help that he wasn't sure who would be able to be around Mitsu in his place.

"Are you sure?" he asked.

Malodore couldn't help but be a little bit nervous. It had wanted to know more about the Horsemen, especially after what had transpired during the Trial of Death. And yet it was still faintly uneasy despite its curiosity and it's eagerness at the potential for fresh knowledge. The Horsemen were an unknown quantity, and the plague doctor didn't like how it and Amityville itself were approaching them on highly uneven footing. There was a power differential here that it neither particiularly liked nor understood.

It would just have to wait, observe, and render judgement for itself...

A text? Shehk probably could have looked more excited about who it was from - probably because it was confirmation that the dragon wasn't going. Sadness. But he had his reasons, no matter what they were. Still, she couldn't help the smallest smile at the message itself.

Warm fuzzies.

Shenny was analysing what she just heard, and was really curious. From the look on the faces of some older students she realized that WAS a real, proper warning. What awaits her? May it be something dangerous, or well, useful? She felt like it was the beginning of a good and long adventure.

Shenny was quite happy she ended up here, in this auditorium. It wasn't easy, but well, it was definitely worth it. That's really convenient horsemen allowed different students to participate in the exchanging program. Being here right now hadn't made her a real Amityville student, but at least she felt like she's finally in the very centre of events. The story is about to begin, and perhaps, this time, it would be her story as well.

With that thoughts Shenny looked around seeking somebody to start a conversation with, and may be get some additional information. She just needed somebody's else reaction.

Herryk nodded thoughtfully.

"It is hard to say. On one hand, Herryk is glad that Freya is not coming. On the other hand.. Herryk has to hope that Freya does not find herself in too much trouble here at school." His broad shoulders shrugged before he continued.

"Herryk's group was turned to mist. Fog." He didn't much want to continue, and he didn't really want to push Mort to speak more on the matter. The whole thing hadn't ended well for either of them, it seemed.

"Is Mort still seeing that nice ghoul? The one from Scarentines?" Herryk couldn't remember her name.
