The look of non-approval from Molly was enough to make Jude move forward to claim a doughnut to munch on as he stood around.
Was he was being supportive. All the support.
"We don't have to audition if we don't want to, right?" He asked quietly after a mouth full of pastry was swallowed, the question was mostly toward Jerry since he seemed to be in charge.

Rep gave Clerise a defeated glare as she wandered over and slapped him on the back, flinching away just a moment too late. At least he knew who it wasn't work it to freak out at for the touching thing.
"Hey." At least she got a grudging greeting.
Molly just received a dismal stare. Surely she wasn't going to play that thing? The last time he'd heard someone play a fiddle was at a hokey hogmanay party.
He blinked
"Don't touch the donuts they are concractua-..never mind." Too late.

"I guess not..." Jerry looked crest fallen at Jude's question just as he spotted Molly hefting up her violin, "OH! YES!!" He beamed, lifting it up for a few quick chords before reaching to the table and thrusting the tambourine in Jude's hand, "If you're not auditioning, you can at least help!" And that done, he began to play something simple but fun and light hearted to express his utter JOY at being reunited with his beloved instrument, that Molly could hopefully pick up on and play along easily.
omg omg omg their first Jam session....

He glanced at Rep and seemed a bit confused, "They're wha--O..kay," Jude stared at Rep for a long moment before he resumed doughnut devouring.
Tambourine stuck in his hand and he almost dropped his doughnut.
WTF.
...He looked around eyes pleading for guidance. Yom laughed. A lot. Thanks Yom.

Sasha waved at Syd before turning to watch Jerry happily. He just looked so ... exuberant. So bright and gleeful. It really pleased Sasha to see him act the way he was - even if he was a little silly. Sasha smiled.
The turnout was great. Sasha couldn't be more pleased. She couldn't wait.
"Play something lovely!"

Molly was grinning happily as Jerry started them off, and after bobbing her head a few times to pick up the rhythm she started to play along on her fiddle. How exciting! She never really had the chance to play with someone else before, much less on a different instrument than her! In no time at all, Molly was swaying to the beat as she slid the bow across the strings in tune to Jerry’s guitar.
Jam session go.

Syd gave Sasha a little smile and wave before heading for the donuts that the other girl was protecting. She paused, then took one, sniffing it slightly. It didn't SMELL alcoholic...
"There aren't alcoholic, are they?" she asked, just in case, nibbling it a bit.

At a loss. A complete and utter loss.
He .. shook the tambourine as best as he could to help .. not destroy the song that Molly and Jerry were trying to play.
WHY DID JERRY EVEN PICK HIM TO PLAY THIS OH GOD.
Inside Jude was now panicking and looked like he was strangling the poor instrument rather than playing it while he stuffed the rest of his doughnut into his mouth.
Yom laughed even more before she offered a small bit of guidance, {Play in time with them! Relax! Just ssslow down a bit.}
Slowly Jude's tambourine strangling evened out and showed some form of rhythm.

"Tryouts?" she said, voice distant, a displeased expression washing over her face.
On the one hand, music...wasn't her thing.
On the other...how could she tell that FACE no?
Clerise waved at Molly with a smile-- she liked that girl. "Hey Molly!~"
"You know I have no musical talent to speak of, right?" she murmured to Sasha, a brow raised. "Seriously. ******** nothin. Runnin on empty."

Sasha was doing her best to keep a straight face as she watched Jude do his best attempt at playing the tambourine. "No, no, Robert brought the donuts. Isn't he wonderful?" Sasha gave the big man a proud smile - whether he caught it or not was another matter entirely.
The music was amazing. Sasha easily lost herself in it for a brief moment, sighing happily before turning to glance at Clerise. She gave the woman a warm smile.
"It's okay, Clerise. I'm still just.. so happy you're here. Just enjoy the music. Look at Jerry! Oh, he just looks so ecstatic. And Molly with her fiddle. She's beautiful, isn't she?"
Sasha clasped her hands to her chest.
"I don't think I've ever been this happy."

Rep winced as the music started. Not because it was particularly bad but because it wasn't exactly the sort of music he was used to. His days in music at school had consisted of learning to play super trouper by ABBA on the keyboard.
He'd very quickly started dogging off of those classes.
This felt like he was back in music class, he frowned.
"Should have brought my ******** ipod."

Danananananana doughnuuuts.
Robert picked up a doughnut and started gnawing on it as Jerry began to assault people. He'd actually gotten quite a decent amount to show up, all things considered... even Rep. Rep? Robert did not see that one coming.
But at least, for now, he ate his doughnut and enjoyed the show - that being Jerry forcing people to play for his pleasure.

The man seemed lost in the moment, laughing and beaming at Molly and Jude as they pulled music out of the air. He felt better than he had in ages it felt like. Then before his life had gone to s**t, anyway. He rode on the rhythms, rolled over Molly's melody, and strummed his way into happiness.
This was going to be good. And Robert hadn't even run for the hills yet.

Clerise was relieved, if a little guilty, that she didn't have to try out for anything. Her eyes crinkled at the corners with the smile hidden behind the pastry. "Haven't seen Molly around since the yeti-mission. She is beautiful."
Much like that night on Valentine's Day, against her better judgment, the redhead found herself enjoying some music.
It wasn't her normal club fare (which was an excuse to dance and little else), but it was...
Well. Maybe it was okay. Maybe. But she wasn't doing any stupid try outs! "Hey Strongman," Clerise said with a wave, laughing a little as he started to devour his own snack.
"What's on your ipod, gingy?" she asked Rep, pointing at him, "Honestly, I could go for some ******** Gaga right now, myself."
