Dear journal,

HOW LONG HAVE I BEEN ASLEEP!? Oh my Goooood! It must've been months, years even, since I've been awake and aware of my surroundings! My poor boys, they must be so lonely and worried about me! They're all out there in the city looking for food and I CAN'T GO GET THEM! NOT UNTIL THIS BABY IS BIG ENOUGH TO GO WITH ME!

Aaaah, let me explain! I'm just freaking out so bad right now, I can't keep my thoughts organized! You see, Ryan, Neil, and Abel have gone missing! They left a trail of feathers that lead out towards the city, so I think I know where they've gone off to, but I'm still sooooooooo worried! What happened to me?! I fell asleep for months, MONTHS! WHAT THE HELL! AUGH!

Okay, okay, I went to go look for them, and packed all my stuff up, but as soon as I was ready to leave, another dew called out to me! He's just a little baby right now, clearly just formed, but the poor dear gave me such a scare it's not even funny! I thought he was in one tree, then the other, then I thought he was on the ground, but I couldn't see him anywhere! THEN HE FELL FROM HIS LEAF AND... I NEARLY LOST HIM IN A STREAM! I cried for like... EVER about it. I'm sure he was just trying to get my attention, not hurt himself of anything like that, but he took such a great big faaaaall!

I've decided to name him Atsui, which he seemed to like, despite all the sad vibes he gives off. He's such a cuddle bug, even at this age, I'm pretty sure he's been calling for me for a long time... Poor thing, I'm so sorry...

Alrighty, I have to settle in for the night. Atsui's already asleep, it seems, nestled in between me and a pile of leaves. I've told him all about his older brothers who left for the city and how, once he's big enough, we'll go out to find them. He chimed a few bits and wiggled, which I hope means that he wants to help find them, too. Though, I can't help feeling that Atsui isn't going to be the easiest baby to deal with...

Dear journal,

Today held more than one surprise for me, some better than others. If I had known I'd be in for all of this last week, I would have done my best to prevent some of it from happening. However, not everything in my life goes as planned, especially the parts where I've neglected to check my plans for errors and holes. I suppose I'll make do with what I've been given and try to sew up the loose ends that I missed. That's the only thing I can do, given the situation that I'm in.

First and foremost, Atsui grew into a rather adorable little mer-boy! He's got gorgeous hair that I've tied up and styled to his liking, which isn't very particular at all, actually, and his tail is almost as long as the rest of his body! Though there is one thing that causes me concern, Atsui can't hear anything by the ringing of bells, which is certainly an issue. He can speak telepathically to almost anyone, which is a perk, but it doesn't always work. But he seemed relatively healthy despite this, and I wouldn't change him for the world. <3

Second, a strange, but kind rainbow haired woman has appeared in my camp with her daughter, a fellow dream called Hannah. Her name is Rachel and she has explained to me that she came here looking for a little girl who had been lost here and needed her help. While we talked, I discovered that I had written the exact words she had heard down in my journal, and realized that I had inadvertently called out for her help. We had a good laugh about it and decided that we would group our families together, seeing as we are the same age and have little ones of our own. She could help me and I could help her. It's a lovely little set up, if I do say so myself.

Finally, one of my boys has returned to the garden, Abel. While I'm thrilled to see that he's home and haven't let him out of my sight since this morning, he seems to have been traumatized by Neil. Apparently, Neil had snapped and viciously attacked Abel while they were in the city, causing a rift between the trio. Abel had escaped as soon as he could, leaving his friends behind, and found his way back home before too long, but after cuddling with me for a while, he confessed that he had no idea where he had left them. He had been so afraid of being attacked further that he basically fled the scene and never looked back. I told him that he had done the right thing for himself by fleeing when he did, but added that we needed to go back and find both Ryan and Neil before something terrible happened to them. He agreed about looking for Ryan, but needed some coaxing in order to agree to look for Neil...

Whatever happened between my boys must have been horrifying, if my sweetheart Abel can't bear to look for one of his brothers, whom he had loved not so long ago. Nevertheless, don't worry boys, MAMA'S COMING TO GET YOU!
