Jed kicked out of the pin. Jed was starting to get a headache after that bulldog by Three.

Three knew Jed wouldn't go down so easy, but he was going to wear the champion down this way and that would make the longer game easy. He rolled and tried to pull Jed up as well, if he could manage get him off his back Three would try to pull Jed onto his shoulder to go for his signature fireman cutter.

Jed was lifted off the canvas on Three's shoulders, however Jed had a bad feeling about this position so Jed started to to shake around trying to get off of Three's shoulders. If Jed was able to, Jed would think why not have some fun by trying to get Three up onto his shoulders and trying for an air plane spin!

Before Three could throw him Jed managed to scramble off and hoist Three up onto his shoulders. Three clung on when Jed started spinning, he was quickly starting to get dizzy; he had to stop Jed before he could incapacitate his equilibrium. Three would strike down with his elbow a few times hoping to catch Jed and maybe even knock him off balance.

Jed was elbowed in the face by Three. When Jed was hit, Jed let go over any of his grip on Three. Jed went to lower Three towards the canvas, really Jed was trying to get his balance and it was kind of hard to do with a guy on your shoulders.

When Jed staggered and lowered Three rolled off his shoulders onto the mat. The world was spinning though and when he tried to get up he felt the ring tip over completely and he went sprawling back onto the mat trying to get a grip and right his balance.

Three quickly recovered his equilibrium, once he was righted he sat up all undertaker like. Three would quickly roll to his feet and move towards Jed to try and grab him so he could control how he got to his feet.

Jed was grabbed by Three, but as Three tried to get a good grip, Jed tried to push Three a way and slide out of the ring.

Jed managed to save himself at the last second by slipping away before Three could get his hands on him. But Three was not going to give up and let Jed regain his composure. The Asylum Championship would be his tonight. Three ran the ropes to build up speed and then would aim a suicide dive through the second and third ropes right for Jed. The dive brought out a cheer as the crowd was eager to see how it would play out.

Jed land on his feet on the outside of the ring. Jed was ready for anything now that he was no longer dizzy. Or that's what he thought as he was hit in the face by The Number Three's dive. The crowd cheered loudly as Three hit Jed.

Three was lost in the collision of the dive, it's not called a suicide dive for nothing. He lay on the ground groaning, writing to get off of Jed so that he could slowly start to make his way back to his feet, not a simple task right so soon after leaping from the ring. He did manage to make his way to the guard rail and started using that to help pull himself up.

Three pulled himself to his feet and saw that Jed was still on the ground. He was hurting, but the dive had paid off. Three bent over to pick Jed up so he could throw him running for the steel steps nearby.

The match continued, escalating to the point that both men were tested to their limits. Three had started gaining the upper hand after he rolled out of the way of a double leg drop from the top rope. But right when Three had Jed where he wanted, Jed escaped; and to the cheers of the crowd he had planted Three with a devastating DDT. He would have won the match had Three not managed to get his foot on the ropes.
Jed waited at that point; mostly because Three had done a grand job of wiping him out throughout the rest of the match. Jed had a plan though when Three began to stir. As Three rose Jed positioned himself to hit his finisher the JKO, but with one last burst Three shoved Jed towards the ropes, and when Jed rebounded off the ropes Three caught him and hoisted the champion into the air. He barely managed to make a full 360 spin as he held Jed high above him in a military press. Then he brought Jed down with his GSOE version two. Three rolled over and laid across Jed to cover.
1 The first count struck and Three waited, the seconds felt like hours as he watched the hand rise and fall for the second time. 2 Jed was not stirring, but he had kicked out of a blackout kick earlier so Three would not feel safe until that third count fell... 3 and then it did! The next few moments where a blur; once again Three had proven himself a champion. A new found burst of strength brought him to his feet. The official raised Three's hand and he could just barely hear the sound of the announcer over the outcry of the fans.
The belt was brought to him, and handed over. He had done it; Three had gone up against another veteran and won. He had proved yet again that he was as good as the best. Three staggered over to the ropes and leaned on them throwing the Asylum Championship above his head!

"Seriously!?" A voice echoed throughout the arena as a tiny, white male emerged from the back, still in his ring gear from his botched tag-team match. "You're kiddin', right?" The crowd began to overcome Jamie's voice with their boo's, but Jamie pressed on. "This nut-job get's a title match against what might just be the worst title holder in the history of this business and I get stuck in a last-minute tag-team match with a flimsy, no talent partner? How in the world is this fair?" Jamie pointed his free hand at The Number Three in the ring. "No--NO! I refuse to allow this to happen. Look here you no-good waste of camera time, I'm challenging you for that title right here, right now!" The crowd began to cheer with excitement at Jamie's strong words.

His celebrations where cut short just like that. Three lowered the belt and looked at it. He was panting heavily still and there wasn't a part of him that wasn't hurting. He looked to the ref who could do nothing about it. The Asylum Championship was a 24/7 title belt. With a sigh Three handed the belt over and took a mic from a stagehand.
"I don't really have a choice in the matter do I? Well then, come on down here. I just kicked his a**;" Three pointed towards Jed who was rolling out of the ring at this point. "If you want your a** kicked you'll have to bring it here I'm a bit worn out."
