I did not want the position because I would rather not be included in this game, which brings me to ask why I'm listed at all.

Duo, never ever repeat that phrase in POTS again.

YOLO?

Yes, that phrase.

Can I ask why?

Yes, that phrase.

At the risk of devaluing one of the worlds already most undervalued words, its a stupid phrase employed by stupid people to attempt to excuse their inexcusably stupid actions. I do not tolerate stupidity, something this phrase breeds. Therefore, I will not stand to see it used in POTS.

Normally I would address the issue of Freedom of Speech; but YOLO is a stupid phrase. "You only live once"? Of course you only live once, but you also only die once too. People seem to forget that part...
Plus, the phrase totally is a rip off of "Carpe Diem" and "Hakuna Matata"...

This is the result of Shira and I playing around and attempting to place several people as a member of the family of PotS. Since we do behave for the most part like a family.

And you're the unofficial mother because Greg didn't want the position. xD Plus you do make more of a Mother figure. It is only unofficial until you accept it.

How exactly am I a mother figure?

You are calm, and seek a middle ground, as well as seeming like you care more than other people about what is going on. Just kinda like a caring calm person. What one would expect a mother figure to be like.

I see. And for this calm, caring firgure-head of the family Gregar was your first choice? xd

Ever tried to disobey your mother?

I see your point.

@Gregar: Despite your opinion on the phrase (and well...mine), you cannot refuse someone to use a phrase because you don't like it. Kind of goes against the whole freedom of speech thing, and probably against a gaia ToS now that I'm thinking about it. Just because you think a phrase is ridiculous, it doesn't mean free speech gets tossed out the window, and that's for most anything really. You can't forbid phrases from a guild that aren't in any way insulting, racial, or a defamation of character. In short, Duo hasn't broken a single rule by gaia or PoTS guidelines.

Here I was thinking he insulted someone because of how severe you made it seem, yet it's nothing more than yet another phrase thousands possibly millions of people are saying and have been saying. In short gregar, try not to cry wolf when there really isn't any cause for alarm and leave Duo be. He has a choice to type it, you have a choice to not read it.

Personally, I don't see the significance of the phrase at all. Until people started debating it, I would have assumed it was a silly sound effect or something.

It is just a knock off of Carpe Diem. I am sad, or the clostest I can get to sad that they simplified it to such a level as mere life, but I just think it is annoying. But I get it yelled in my ears whenever I visit with friends, so I'm just kinda against the saying as a whole. I still like Carpe Diem though.
