-- Hiro --- Electra37/50 --- 37/50Steps:174 Tonics:3/3More steps on this freaking staircase. Hiro slowed down, slightly tired. Sprinting this far made you hunk someone just shoved vodka down your throat. Nt that he had had alcohol before, it was just the best fitting simile. A Geodudes was hurled at him but he quickly ducked, evading it with relative ease. Electra simply jumped over it. Arceus this was taking forever. Electra simply shrugged it off. She was used to running long distances. This? This was nothing. Besides she had several pairs of legs. She could alternate them! Being a spider came in handy for situations such as this. Well, not specifically but something of the sort.

Skye & Zori-42/50- -Invincibility Stone-Skye was sprinting to keep up with the fast-paced climb that the spiral staircase had set for them, the rocks and boulders flying past them at break-neck speeds. She knew that it likely hurt a lot to be hit by the flying chunks of rock, but there was little that she could do. She knocked a few of them out of the way with Swift, the glowing golden stars splitting the air with shimmers of dust, and breaking the thick rock into pebbles before they could reach the pair of Eevee that ascended the never-ending passage.
Caught off-guard by Harumi's reply, her eyes widened, the older teen glancing sharply backward to stare at her sister. Protect her? She was older than Haru was, herself! She knew that age didn't really make a difference, but she hadn't expected to be thought of as so weak that she needed protecting. She'd assumed that she and her sister were one and the same, today; they would fight at eachother's side, regardless of what their parents said. ...No, she was just worried, and she knew that such a way of thinking was just blowing things far out of proportion. Her heart eased a little, and she nodded to Harumi, pausing slightly to allow her friend and younger sister to catch up with her.
First mistake, and very clearly so.
She felt something solid strike her shoulder, gripping and tossing her down the staircase. She cried out in panic, her paws scrabbling uselessly against the stone steps as she fell. Her shoulder was drawn downward with such a tremendous force, such a weight to it that she was sure she'd end up dead if she were to continue. She could already imagine the bone-breaking impact if she were to meet the floor or wall, with this... thing bound to her torso. In a panic, she blasted a Hydro Pump over her shoulder, the gush of water surging forward to spray in all directions, and splattering the floor with icy water. The Geodude released her, leaving her to roll down the steps at a much slower rate, the Eevee finally managing to stop her fall, and scramble back up toward her likely-panicked sister.
Her heart was pounding in her chest, so hard that she could feel the faint throbbing of her pulse in every part of her body. Every breath hurt, for the short few moments that it took to get back into the full-powered sprint that she'd mastered so beautifully in training. Her shoulder sent sharp stabs of pain through her torso, and she knew it likely that she'd awake to a rather nasty bruise the next morning, if she were lucky to wake at all. Geodude were not particularly gentle things to be hit with, especially when they were simply thrown down the stairs at full velocity.
- - - - -
Zori pressed closer to her mate, the pair of Leafeon bumping shoulders for a moment as they broke into a run, fighting to keep up with their children and teammates. The more slender, swifter female could easily out-run her mate, if she tried, as he could over-power her, but she much preferred to stay close at his side in such a situation. Her energy didn't need to be wasted, in such an endeavor; it might be needed more at a later point in the attack. She couldn't afford to waste a breath on something that didn't need it; all in all, she just wanted to protect her home and family.
Sleek dark paws slipped on the pools of water that were spilled across the stairs, and before she could get a better grip, she found herself face down into the stone, her jaw connecting hard with the steps. Tears welled in her eyes, the female dragging herself back to her feet, and swaying a little as she tried to regain her balance. Her head ached considerably, and it took a moment for her to recognize that she hadn't broken anything, nor bit through her lip or tongue. She was glad, for that much; both bled considerably, if they were to be cut too deeply. It would more than hamper their efforts. She'd bitten into part of her cheek, however, she could taste the metallic tang of blood that leaked slowly into her mouth. She gagged on the flavour, unappreciative of the addition to her already screaming senses.
"I'm fine, I'm fine," she choked out, shortly after spitting a mix of blood and spit onto the stone floor. She had to clear her throat and mouth, if she was to try and run at all. She staggered a little, rejoining Doku as she continued to run.

Finian, under the genuine impression that he would be under a barrage comparable to earlier, was practically laughing in the faces of the living projectiles being fired at him now. If it weren't such a grave scene at hand, he would be outwardly showing his amusement in such a fashion. The boulders earlier proved hard to get out of the way of, but it seemed the elite was simply out of stock with those and was now resorting to a backup supply of sorts out of anger as the guilds closed in. Spiraling around and around, speeding in circles on lithe canine legs that hastened his pace all the more, the Absol was practically leading the pack at this point. The occasional Geodude missile flew past him, never hitting target, but proving to cause some decent damage to the surrounding tower's structure. His only fear at this point was that of a total collapse of this hollow stone column. From the outside view he had managed to take in earlier, it seemed to stretch on endlessly up into the sky. Even with how many times he has run the inside perimeter on upward stairs already, he estimated and didn't doubt the idea that he wasn't very far up at the moment. Causing such damage to the base of this building seemed like it would be pretty problematic, but there were no signs of it giving just yet. Not much further to go; the goal, the Rhypherior was now in sight, an ever growing figure as the distance between them became shorter and shorter. He would have loved to get in the first shot on the damn pile-o-rocks, but a Garchomp seemed to have the same aspirations in mind as he sped past him... Steps:179 HP:40/50 Tonics:3/3

& & & & & ( Saraph & Alaisdair & The Raven & GOOP & Ravi & Joey ) (41 --- 24 --- 24 --- 24 --- 24 --- 24 )"What n' tarnashun" Joey said, watching in awe as the onslaught of Geodude came at them. His eyes widened, "Shoot, its-" "MOOOOOOMMA!" the geodude shrieked, its arms spread out wide. "now hodl on there feller I ain't yer- URK!" the Geodude looked as if he was giving the Audino a tight, tight hug, a happy look on its face. Joey wanted to just punch this thing, if not for the fact it was holding his arms down and restricting the flow of air from his nose to his lungs. And, if one wasn't bad enough, here came two more right at him!
"MOMMA!" "MOMMA!" "MOMMA!" all three joyfully cried out as they pulled and squeezed the poor pink guy around. Joey coughed out a low, hiss like "heeeeelp...meeeee...", trying to breath as he and the three geodudes started to roll down the stairs. Joey, with all the strength he had left, forcem himself to stand upright and tall...
...and then he slammed himself into the stairs with the added force of a Last Resort.
This knocked one Geodude out, the first one, and he freed his arm as it fell off, punching the one at his side square in between the eyes. Shocked, it lost its grip, falling down as well. The last one, seeing how the first two had been beaten, let go. No way was he sticking around to get one of those punches!
As the last one let go, Joy cracked his knuckles, though he was resisting the urge to gulp up air like a fish. Calmly, he walked back up the stairs, meeting up with his other teammates as if nothing had happened. :: :: ✗ Senka :: Louvell :: Fredrick ✗ ✗ 41 :: 24 :: 24 ✗.

((didnt edit my last post for some reason, w/e)) Ver -- Rufus47/50 - 47/50Ver let out a soft chuckle as he panted and ran upwards. The panic of the situation was easily removed in such a moment. As far as he was concerned, he was making up for his first loss against Ivy. Needless to say, time and getting attacked constantly did it's job to the Flareon's complex; being far more in shape than he was back then. This could go horribly wrong given one of them were hit, but so far, so good. He never bothered to look back; he was indeed fairly concentrated but only in fear of getting hit. He already had to pull off a stunt or two to avoid such scenarios. He could always just take them out with strong enough fire attacks, but part of him hesitated in fear of making it explode instead. Besides, others were doing the job anyway. Epitaph -- Fang47/50 -- - 47/50"Ignore him." Epitaph stared forward at the Espeon in a light sigh before bounding her way upward past the guildleader. They'd run into Orion again anyway-- probably. From personal experience she'd never taken to the grey Espeon. 'Welcome to the guild, Epitaph!' and then judgement was spewed everywhere. She twitched slightly as she recalled the situation though otherwise continuing on her merry little way. She needed a distraction. Her eyes flickered away from their dazed state as she returned to reality and took note of the rocks being cannoned at them that she'd been evading instinctively. Something about them was off but with the speed of everything going on, the Fire type really couldn't examine them. Epitaph's eyes trailed one that soared past her some short range away in attempt to get a decent glance, but it was a futile effort.Turning her attention forward, her eyes widened as her mind registered the rock coming flying toward her. Her only response was to let out a sharp gasp and jump over it as it skid into the stairway. It was a Geodude... why? Epitaph's gaze returned forward, her expression drowned in a puzzled look. Never saw something like that before.(( Steps taken: 126 ---Tonics: 3))

Kind of confused why the hell the Rhyperior was throwing Geodudes. The rest of Team Polaris and Team Azalea continued to kind of just use him as a shield. I mean why the heck not, he's a tyrannitar. However, one rather well-thrown, well-aimed Geodude clipped Incultyr in the side, and while it didn't hurt him much (though the combined hits has began to rack up the damage by now), the blow did throw him to the side where he nearly crushed half of the Pokemon behind him. This ended up in a massive confusion of OH GOD DON'T SQUISH ME as Incultyr is a very heavy Pokemon and none of them would fare well is crushed under his weight. With some Psyhic help from Hope and Atra though, they prevented Incultyr from falling over and rolling down the stairs, which was likely to kill everyone behind them. Suicune got clipped by a Geodude as she made her way towards the front of the group. It hurt and left a bruise, but she had moved with the hit to minimize the damage, and being a Legendary, even a semi-legendary, meant she was a little tougher than the usual lot. The guild reached the top quickly, the Rhyperior barely had time to register their presence when Raith stepped up. They say Garchomp can fly, but to be honest most can't. Most are too heavy and this included Raith. He was, however, not so heavy he wasn't fast. In the second it took the Elite to turn around Raith was already in his face. Mouth open, curved teeth flashing white like an alarm. The Rhyperior was slow. So slow that by the time he realized he was properly ********. He was already dead. Teeth crunched down on the hard exterior, black gravel and red blood mixed into a sopping mess that dripped heavily over his jowls. The Garchomp had unhinged his jaw, clamped his mouth firmly around the enemy Pokemon's skull and cracked it in two with ease. Like snapping a twig. The Rhyperior, or at least his body below the neck, fell to the ground. The life in it had fled, leaving behind no support for the body. The sick, wet chomping of the Garchomp was soon the only sound. Solaris turned to Archer with wide eyes. "Wh-what has him so pissed?" And did he just eat a ******** rock? The Mewtwo gave no immediate response, but finally his lips curled in a smile. "Oh, he's not pissed. He's annoyed. You haven't seen pissed and you don't want to." The second the words left him the Rhyperior's body flashed red and white. Erupting in another gorey display. "DOES EVERY ELITE HERE KNOW SELF-DESTRUCT?!" Solaris screamed past the splatter. Oh god no. He had his mouth open and everything. Gross gross gross. If your total step count is even you do not need to roll for self-destruct damage. If it is odd, you DO roll for self-destruct damage. Once again rolls are: Evens: Miss. Odds: Hit. Another one bites the dust.

Isis + Heimdall + Lilith + Anubis 19/50 + 19/50 + 19/50 + 19/50 Anubis just stared as a Garchomp bit the Rhyperior's head off. How did that even...why would you even... This was screwed up!
Isis just blinked, well...that made their job easier. Lilith nodded as she stood next to her 'mom', "It's going by so fast..." Isis nodded, "At least we'll survive this mission then."
Heimdall meanwhile had caught up to the group and frowned from behind Anubis, "That Rhyperior's body...it's rumbling." He piped up as Anubis stared, oh crap. Heimdall was right.
Isis frowned, "...Nowhere to hide either."
Lilith was about to reply when the Rhyperior exploded, body bits and gore flying all around. Lilith had protected Isis from the majority of the harm with her Gyrados body, though both had welts from the gore impact. Anubis meanwhile had hugged Heimdall to him as the two got battered by blood, "...Erk." The Togepi grunted. This blood smelled horrible! He then noticed Anubis' eyes tearing up, oh Arceus, the smell must be even worse for the jackal based Pokemon.
Anubis just covered his nose as the stench of blood nearly made him faint, such an overpowering bitter scent. He then noticed Heimdall's concern and put on a smile, though it was obvious it was fake. (( Rollin' along~ Oh 'eff you dice. ))

It took a moment for Finian's pace to come to a halt. He was beat. Sure it wasn't a race or anything, and he was already practically at the top saving him a trip if he were still any further down still, but it was still a disappointment to see the elite go without him even getting a hit on the rock type. All the better though, his energy was saved for the next battle that was sure to come ahead. This couldn't be the end, if anything he was now just in the first leg of a marathon and really ought not be as wasteful as he has been in terms of focus and willpower already. In an effort to catch his breath and some well deserved stamina, Finian took a seat on the spiral staircase and awaited the impending fireworks. Just with the last, this Elite took to the last resort of self explosion; a worthy effort at that as far as attempting to damage any enemy after they deliver the final blow, but not enough to phase the Absol after he has already seen such a trick once. This one, however, was a little more dangerous. Finian found himself having to quickly duck off to the side ruining his rest time as the rocky exterior of the enemy proved to be far better shrapnel than the meat and scales of the earlier fought dragon. Nevermind the fact that he was uncomfortably close to this explosion in comparison to the last. He soon regretted his choice of seating once he realized that Rhypherior too have gory bits deep down underneath all that other baggage. The Absol found himself now wishing that the now long gone enemy was more solid and dangerous than the plain out grotesque he was experiencing now. Finishing off the last few rounds of stairs was more of a matter of cautiously stepping around innards than anything. Steps:179 HP:40/50 Tonics:3/3

♠ Aloura ♥ Lavicus ♣ Crimson ♦
♠ 34/50 ♥ 34/50 ♣ 34/50 ♦ { Paces: 159 } { Tonics: 3x } As Crimson flitted away into the crowd, Aloura, eyes pained, began to race after her. Lavicus, in turn, gave chase to the team leader, though with an intent entirely different from tracking down the flygon. "Aloura, stop! It won't do any good!" the snake pokemon called out even as the team reached the landing between the stair flights. Just in the nick of time to witness the unceremonious beheading of their boulder hurling adversary. This was followed promptly and unfortunately by the malicious gleam of light that indicated that this battle would end in the same way as the last: in a violent and bloody explosion. "Get down!" Lavicus yelled, as if that would do any good. Even before the residue of his voice faded, he had lunged to put himself between Aloura and the impending implosion. He had scales, she fur. He thought it might help.
It didn't.
In the blast of the explosion, a huge shard of wickedly pointed rock ripped past the serpent gouged a long, jagged canyon across one of Aloura legs. Luck so be it that it was the one she had already injured during the onslaught of geodude. Perhaps it was for the best that she had only one, not two, legs all but nonfunctional, but it certainly didn't feel as if fortune had smiled on her. As the echo of the explosion faded, she suddenly felt broken. Wounded and bleeding; Somehow standing upright even as the deceased rock type's blood seeped into the myriad of shallow and deep cuts alike to mix with her own lifeblood, and grotesquely matting her pristine white fur. She had been transformed into a mottled collage of red and white, with the blood her disheveled coat did not retain dripping from her in a lazy, uneven rhythm, it's soft song all but inaudible in the collective unrest. She might as well as have been swimming in the thick, vibrant liquid as far as appearances went. She couldn't even begin picture how she looked at the moment, nor did she want to. In fact, she didn't want to think at all.
Regardless of the liquid being a sign of the guilds victory, it was still blood. Blood in pools enough to drown in, harboring boats crafted from parts of a living creature that are not meant to be seen. The sight was enough to make any pokemon sick. If Aloura gave much thought to the fact that she was un-masterfully painted in it, she was quite sure that keeping anything in her stomach would be as hard a battle as the one they had just faces.
Lavicus did not fare much better. He was blessed in the fact that the blood slid easily off his scales, but he, like Aloura, had taken a harsh blow. A larger chunk of rock, mercifully blunt, had stuck him on the side of the head when the seviper moved to cover his leader. There was no gash, nor had he fallen unconscious, but he would not walk away free of debt: A searing headache pounded a desperate gallop in around his head, and a large bruise was already swelling into a huge, misshapen lump, forcing his right eye closed. How many more after this? He was sure it wasn't the last, and sure that if there was much more he'd not hold out.
"Can you walk? Lavicus ventured to speak first. Likely due to his head ache, the sound of his voice seemed distorted, as if he were speaking into a long tunnel made of tin. All the sound around him, too, was transcribed into the same, tinny quality- echoing about in a collective cacophony of chaos. Escaping it was a lamentable impossibility, as he could run from neither his own mind nor the task at hand. He certainly would have been quite happy, though, to curl up in a small, dark corner get away from the damned noise. When Aloura responded to his question, saying that she thought she could, indeed, walk, the force of her voice might as well have been a hammer to his temple for all the physical effect it had. Though she had not spoken loudly it was all he could do not to wince. If this was how he felt now, there was little chance of him surviving a battle.
"We can rest." he said, already lowering his head to the ground even as guild members began making their way up the next flight of stairs. "We need to. Just for a moment."
"Your hurts are bad," Aloura fretted, her voice soft and laden with worry. Lavicus did not respond. He was not in the mood to state the obvious. He just let his eyes slip close and tried to block it all out. It seemed to be doing little to no good, until he felt a slight, cold pressure swirl around his temples. It was a surprise, jolting him slightly, but, unlike the geodudes, a welcome one. It came from Aloura, he was assuming at least, which softened him to his chronically clueless partner. He didn't open his eyes to make sure of it was her, however. The cold was chasing the headache down little by little and while it may or may not have been irrational, he felt that opening his eyes would lessen the effect.
By the time the cool breeze ended, the throbbing had been reduced to a dull roar. It was still painful, but no longer unbearable, and the sounds in the room no longer assaulted his mental fortifications. He thought it might have helped the swelling on his eye as well, but he wasnt sure. He still couldn't open it, which could pose quite a problem. At the ment though, their bigger issue was being left behind: the guild had largely moved on.
[colo=lighskyblue]"We should be of the leaving now," Aloura said, her oddly musical voice gentle. The seviper nodded, but only slightly for fear of more violent motion bringing back his headache, adding to that murmured thanks. As if by an unspoken pact, neither of them said a word about the third member of their part whom they had not seen. If she wanted to harm them, seeking her out would only do more damage. The best they could do was hope she could fend for herself.
