“Just one more,” he chuckled, his lip a little cut, oozing slime. “I’m going to get you.”
He was looking directly at the crab, wondering if its giant growth allowed it to understand what it was saying. But he knew, at the very least that one of them was going to stay down, and the boil determined to take the crab down first.
Again he charged, and struck with another glancing blow.
The crab collapsed, and so did the ghost, and both were still alive.

The boil charged again. He hit, he stumbled, his knees weakening, and eventually collapsed, just a few feet from the crab.
He fell prone. His face and hands half buried in the sand. There, he began to laugh.
His laughter was deep from his belly. He laughed through him mouth. He laughed through his nose. He laughed. While the rest of his body stay motionless on the ground. He was tired. The crab was almost done.
It was a standstill. Someone else may have to deliver the finishing blow.

Cheering on her teammates Zurine took another swing at the crawling beast herself, but just as she did so the little beast dodged scuttled sideways and her swing went completely wide. This was really just getting absurd - she was missing far more then she was hitting and it was a touch embarrassing. The next swing? It wouldn't miss!

Furrowing her brow in concentration Zurine watched the crab for a few moments - it looked a good deal weaker then it had been at first and she was pretty sure that one more hit would finish it off. Lifting up her foot she stomped on the annoying beast.

THE TIDE COMES IN AND...
Holly heard a rush of water all around the island. She'd wander a bit and could feel waves hitting at her ankles. The ghoul didn't remember being this close to the water before. All around castles started to sag into the oncoming tide. She turned and saw her teams castle starting to sag as well. No. Not good at all. Now even the elements were against them. How in Jack's name do we fight water? She rushed over to their sand castle, luckily it seemed in decent shape, but for how long?

When the giant wave crashed against the beach where their sandcastle was Circe found herself carried away at least a good few inches from her previous spot. And just like that all hell broke loose. Again. When the wave finally retreated Circe walked back over to her teams sandcastle and was shocked to see that there was a considerable amount of damage done to their sandcastle. At least it was still standing though. The blonde Reaper ghoul knelt down and began to try and put back together the sandcastle, which proved to be a rather hard task as the sand was now wet.

As the water rushed in suddenly it seemed like their castle was once more at peril - although there wasn't much one could do against water and when it retreated she rushed forward to try and pat back some of the sand - unfortunately it was saturated with water and just sort of seeped away again making her efforts useless.

Having figured out that working with the slurry like water logged sand wasn't going to do any good Zurine pulled in some sand from farther away and used that to try and shore up the parts of the castle that looked to be in the worst shape. "And you worked so hard on making it look nice too" She stated sympathetically to the boil in their group.

Turning her attention back to the castle Zurine continued to work as trying to fix it back up again, first the crabs then the tide - their poor castle was really starting to take a beating and a small part of her doubted that they were close to being completely done with these threats. Still by the time she was finished it was looking pretty close to fixed again.

The ghost woke to a surprise.
His eyes wide as he found his team patching up their sand castle from some kind of catastrophe. What really shocked him more was that he found himself drifting farther away from shore.
The battle with the crab took a toll on him, and with his hold on his form weak, his structure became that of a jellyfish, which fortunately allowed him to freely catch on the giant wave which wrecked their castle. The water and the lull of the ocean waves hydrated and reinvigorated his slimey self.
He swam back with ease. Though he has swam little, moving through liquid was second nature to the slimer spirit. Though, it did take him awhile, long enough for the others to nearly finish rebuilding the castle.
His contribution was basically to mold the last missing pieces of the castle walls, and to add same details he had added in the beginning. But thanks to his skills in sculpting, the boil not only made the castle sturdy, he also made it a little stronger .

The slimer didn’t stop, and took it one step further.
Though their castle may never retain its previous glory, El Greco reinforced the castle with what they had; sand and more sand. It wasn’t the sturdiest material, but with his knowledge with architecture and sculpting, the boil was determined.
The sand stayed. The sand dried. The sand cracked. The sand fell. But the boil, kept at it, adding layers until it was permanent.

The slimer was full of surprises.
Feeling that the castle was at its best for now, he looked on to the other parts of the castle which required no sand. He plucked the two small hermit crab guards they had placed at their castle, and placed them in makeshift sand coliseum.
With a tiny seaweed whip, he made an attempt to train them; he was literally whipping them up into shape. He barked orders as he kneeled besides them.
The hermits may have actually understood none of his gibberish, nor was gaining any sort of training in them. They were just learning to fear the boil, and to avoid him, scurrying into their shells and into the sand- which perhaps will make the castle stronger, since they will embed themselves into the castle when danger comes.

Her team really went to town at the first site of the castle starting to crumble. They each seemed to take a part of the castle. Holly went and started to pack more sand up on one side, trying to stabilize part of the wall. "I think it's coming back pretty well guys."
