There were no words. Just sheer terror at the giant tentacle that was blocking out the sun. Astra let out a quiet whimper, unable to teer her eyes away from the beast. They...they had to defend their castle against This?! It was madness!
Nether less, they were almost done! Astra didn't want to go down without doing something!
Even if it was against a huge tentacle.
Taking to the air, Astra got up close and personal with the tentacle, landing on the appendage and trying to slice at it.
She felt very dirty at this moment, but she was not sure why...

Again she attacked the tentacle, but she may as well been a fly for all it was doing. It seemed to simply shake off her attack, but at least it wasn't doing any damage to her...

Oh jack, why did she have to touch the thing?! It was slimy and big and she just didn't like touching or being near it at all nononono

Astra tried again, but it seemed that her attack was bouncing off with no effect, and even worse, the tentacle just lashed out at the castle even more.
She felt like crying about now.

"You stupid Slimy green thing!" Astra shouted in fustration, flying at the creature and stabbing at it. She was rewarded with much more flailing. It looked like her attack had hit the mark this time.

Try as she might, the minuscule fairy was just no match for the giant tentacle, who seemed to be chipping away at their castle with every attack it made. Exhausted, Astra had to land some ways off, and hope that her comrades would be able to fend the creature off.

Their castle, their precious precious castle! The Kraken was demolitioning it without so much as a by your leave!
Mandy watched horrified as nothing Astra did seemed to really stop the gigantic tentacle.
Still...she could not let them be crushed without a fight. Letting out a battle cry she ran forth into the sea, claws sharp and ready for a taste of Kraken flesh, joining the fairy in the fight.

As she lashed out at it the water kept pushing her around making targeting hard and even when it hit the Kraken's rubbery skin felt like it may as well have been solid metal for all her claws could do against.
Mandy felt rather helpless if she was to be honest. It wasn't that this was their strongest foe... but it was the literal biggest she had ever faced (Well except the Death Charm Mother but... she had died within three seconds there so that didn’t count).
Sometimes... size really did matter. And the horsemen had taken all of theirs.

See now she was hungry for something better. She wondered if it would be possible to get any floresce sushi out here. Heh. Sushi.
Mandy at that moment happened to get turned around by the waves and spotted her castle.
She instantly felt the fight leave her.

If Yuki had been upset about the crabs or the incoming tide... He was no less than terrified of the giant, looming tentacle that soon cast a shadow over their team and castle.
Oh...
This wasn't going to be good at all. Even at their regular sizes, this would have been terrible. Now? Yeah, he had little doubt that they were all probably doomed.
That didn't stop him, however, from jumping into the battle and trying to get a hit in when the kraken's tentacle swept down close enough. Without a weapon he felt the least equipped for the situation between the three of them, but he was pretty sure that trying to dig his fingernails or the soles of his boots into the offending appendage might do something in their favor.

And the horrible idea struck for him to mimic Mandy in trying to bite the thing when it came close enough for him to grab hold of it to do so.
