" I really don't think..." Mitsu was about to tell Lafayette that biting was probably a bad idea but as she looked over she spotted the demon with a feather. A feather that seemed to match Hel's wings. neutral " Maybe just....a little nibble. Don't bite anything too important okay?" She instructed the little gator before setting him down to do as he pleased. With that done she turned to Xiu hoping nothing too disastrous was going to happen. " Yes, this is Lafayette." Mitsu nodded looking toward the alligator again. " He's super cute don't you think? And your sandcastle looks so good." *A* Mitsu wished she had gotten a chance to make a sandcastle. Maybe Shun would build one with her before they had to leave. Seeing Mot not far off she waved to him. OuO

And it was on like Donkey Kong. Titus rolled to the side as Hel came flying toward him. Flying with the lack of the one feather in his hand. Ha ha. Okay she wasn't really flying but that was beside the point. He was living in the moment because anything after was questionable to his existence.
Snatching the feather close Titus stuffed it inside the pocket of his shorts before rolling to his feet just outside of the Valkyrie's grasp. "Nice try short stuff."

"Eeeeee~ Dun leave me, 'kay? I'll be right back[/]." He looked positively tickled at their permission and wiggled his bum some more, the scaly tail poking Mitsu's ankle several times before he waddled off. Lafayette had a bit of trouble with the sand at first, sometimes sinking, sometimes tripping - he had to adopt a bow-legged waddle to keep himself astride the dunes, but there was no mistaking that determined gleam in his eyes: it was the look of a predator who'd just found his prey.
The problem was, how was he to bite something when the target was moving? >8U "Make him stop moving for a sec!" he yelled at the winged ghoul, licking his dried lips.

Mitsu quickly turned on Shun when she heard him speak elbowing the reaper once again.

"Shun!" Her tone was scolding and that 'That wasn't nice to say' look was back on her face.
She turned when she heard Lafayette, nodding to the little alligator. "I won't leave you I promise." How was he so cute? Even now when Mitsu knew he was heading off to go bite the demon.

That time, Shun grunted a little from the elbow. Turning towards his girl, he stared for a few moments before shrugging. He apparently did not see what was wrong with what he was saying.

Mac was the picture of indifference as he kept Shun within eyesight at all times as he was told to do or else. He didn't necessarily care what was going on, but since he was volun-told he'd at least try...and not very hard, at that. No, he made no attempt to hide the fact that he was trailing Shun at a reasonable distance, but nor did he seem keen on going up and talking to him either; not even as he stopped to have words with some annoying thing or another. Not unlike a ghoul stalking their crush, only Mac was not a ghoul and nor was he enamoured with Shun...though he certainly wanted to crush him. In the painful way.
But hey, at least this crowd was entertaining! They provided a decent excuse should questions arise.

Now Hel was the one eating sand as Titus dodged. Damn, for a tall b*****d, he was pretty quick! The ghoul snarled as she rolled back up to her feet after him Her attention was quickly diverted though by the appearance of a….small…alligator. Hel stared. Holy Jack…it was… adorable. WAIT. Priorities, Hel, priorities! She needed to get that feather back, and then she could mess with that gator. Hold Titus still, huh? The ghoul lunged at the nightmare demon again, looking to lock her arms around his waist and anchor him down.

Titus had basically ignored the tiny alligator. Anything below his knees wasn't important, nor did it pose much of a threat. If only he had paid attention to the fact that the gator had a mouth full of teeth much like he did.
Smirking the demon tried to take a step back but the sand being shifty and all prevented him from getting far. He tried to catch his balance only to have Hel lock her arms around his waist. "What is it hugging time now? Get off." Wiggling he tried to free himself using his arms to push against the Valkyrie's head.

Riyo was all about some team drama, but it had gotten to the point where Titus needed knocked down a few pegs and Hel was just a little too short for it. So while the nightmare demon was good and distracted with holding that feather over the reaper's head, the feline snuck up behind him. Fists balled tightly, she aimed a punch right at Tits's kidney.

"NOMNOMNOMNOMNOM!" went the gator's battle cry as he half-gamboled, half-waddled his way into the fray, leaping to latch onto the demon's nearest knee with a mouth full of teeth.

WAVE 1: CRABS, CRABBBBBBBBBBBBS HP 50/50Scuttling right towards the team was an army of oversized crabs, their pincers waving menacingly. They were ready to destroy all things sand and castle related. CRAB DEFENSE MECHANICS: CRAB VERSUS THE CASTLEOdd = Offense Even = Defense THIS CRAB HAS 11 OFFENSE POINTS. (( First of all, don't forget to add the additional status from the Daily status effects to your sandcastle )) - This crab is trying to do 11 damage OFFENSIVE against the sandcastle. That means you have to match your DEFENSIVE damage against this crab's offense. Subtract your castle's defense against this crab's offense points. IF your sandcastle is higher, you take no damage! If it is lower, subtract the HP value from your castle's HP. One person must RP out their sandcastle standing against the crabs or taking damage, and edit the first post sandcastle's HP as necessary (at least, though various reaction posts while battling is fine) CRAB VERSUS THE CONTESTANTS- EVEN IF YOUR CASTLE STOPS THE CRABS, you still need to delegate them away from your castle, so they do not hurt YOU. There is nothing stopping it from hurting YOU. - Roll NORMALLY (no Fear charges), 2d6 -6 if you are a Y1, 2d8 - 6 if you are a Y2 to determine your damage AGAINST THE CRABS. Year 1's have 30 HP, Y2's have 40. - The crab has a sum total of 50 HP (bonus HP because the players names are not listed on the front page and Zoo had to do more work siiiiiggggh). Not cool.
Mot was so sure his Moat would keep the castle safe, he paid it no mind and tried to confront the giant crab.
It got a bit pinchy on him.

Titus was not having a good day. True he had provoked the Valkyrie but the sudden addition of teeth to his knee and fists to his kidneys was not welcome. Not one bit. To top off this wonderful day there were super crabs only known in nightmares. How did Titus know? He was pretty sure he had seen something similar while dream hopping. People had interesting fears.
They were quick to attack the sandcastle but honestly, Titus was like the honey badger about the sandcastle. What he didn't want was to have those pincers take a piece of him. So what did Titus do? He flailed around madly hoping for the best. That's what he did.

So the flailing hadn't worked. Perhaps it was from taking an arrow a bite to the knee. The crabs were still persistent to have a piece and Titus wasn't very happy about it and picked up the closest thing he could find and threw it. Unfortunately baseball wasn't his strong suit.
