She grew quiet as the two continued to talk, both of them would have family tied to this possibly, the closest thing Sammy had to that was already standing on the beach. One off looking at castles, the other kissing the ring of her 'betrothed' demon. It caused her to flinch slightly, but she made no action against it. They had reasons to do that and she would tolerate it... even if it was odd.
Then again she was guilty of spending far more time then a friend should cuddling with Shehk so she was probably the biggest hypocrite in the world too.
"Latter Barth, don't let all the excitement tire you out too much. Won't be good having you sleep more then you normally do." With him gone she moved over to Siddie subtlety lacing her left hands bones between Siddie's fingers.
"Should we catch up with Shehk, maybe visit another castle or just wait here...?

Siddie twined her fingers into Sammy's gratefully. "Could we go into the shade?" she asked, looking up at the zombie. "It's just so bright, and we won't be as visible."

Shehk skedaddled across the sand, now mostly sunscreamed up to keep from turning into a walking ball of burn - though her jacket did need to come back on to guard her back and....

Israfel looked, disappointed? Sad? Hard to say, but he was not happy, that much was true. Only this didn't last long, as the world got bigger.
And his coconut husk ponies were suddenly very equal size to him.
"GUYS. GUYS LOOK!"
He was jumping up and down, shipping problems forgotten. "MY LITTLE PONIES!"

WAVE 1: CRABS, CRABBBBBBBBBBBBS HP 40/40Scuttling right towards the team was an army of oversized crabs, their pincers waving menacingly. They were ready to destroy all things sand and castle related. CRAB DEFENSE MECHANICS: CRAB VERSUS THE CASTLEOdd = Offense Even = Defense THIS CRAB HAS 4 DEFENSE POINTS. (( First of all, don't forget to add the additional status from the Daily status effects to your sandcastle )) - This crab is trying to do 4 damage DEFENSIVELY against the sandcastle. That means you have to match your OFFENSIVE damage against this crab's defense. Subtract your offensive against this crab's defense points. IF your sandcastle is higher, you take no damage! If it is lower, subtract the HP value from your castle's HP. One person must RP out their sandcastle standing against the crabs or taking damage, and edit the first post sandcastle's HP as necessary (at least, though various reaction posts while battling is fine) CRAB VERSUS THE CONTESTANTS- EVEN IF YOUR CASTLE STOPS THE CRABS, you still need to delegate them away from your castle, so they do not hurt YOU. There is nothing stopping it from hurting YOU. - Roll NORMALLY (no Fear charges), 2d6 -6 if you are a Y1, 2d8 - 6 if you are a Y2 to determine your damage AGAINST THE CRABS. Year 1's have 30 HP, Y's have 40. - The crab has a sum total of 40 HP. Every time you hit the crab, you take 5 damage. If your TEAM LEADER is KO'ed your group is disqualified! - You can hit the crab as many times as needed until it is dead. If your crab is not dead by the end of the OOC 24 hours/ one round, the crab will berserk and take out half your sandcastle's HP. - To attack the crab, once again, roll your attack, WRITE UP YOUR RP POST, and subtract 5 from your HP every time. Make sure to also post at the bottom of your post Your total HP, the damage you do to the crab, and the crab's total (remaining HP.

[5 Offense + 10 Offense Daily Status Effect - 4 = 11 Offense.]
Between Sir Harry Herrington and his mighty Coconut throne, the fortress shied away the large (in comparison to the students) crab and held steady.
Which left the rest of the challenge to the students to send them away.

Adjusting to being much smaller than she had intended to be that day was a bit of a task, which partially resulted in her having a crab nearly knock her over, struggling to not be completely trampled by the thing as she kicked the underside of it swiftly.
It didn't seem to be very effective.

Once she regained her baring to not be completely trampled by the crab, Shehk rolled over up onto all fours and shook her body out before she got back up and threw herself up onto said crab, balancing precariously on its back before she jumped, did a small flip in the air to make sure her feet were off the ground as far as they could be before gravity pulled her back down - along with both feet - into the creature's back to ground it.
"Little help please while I've got it down?"

When had she been tagged with anything? Siddie felt a wave of apprehension sweep over her. Or maybe it was the shrinking effect, because suddenly everything was huge. She let out a startled little shriek - then a louder one as she spotted the crabs scuttling towards their castle. They didn't look nearly as friendly as a Nice Hat.
Shehk was the first to jump on the crab, and Siddie recovered quickly from her shock. "I'm coming!" she shouted, folded up her parasol with a little wince as the full, searing heat of the sun hit the top of her head, and hurried forward to jab at the huge crab's eyestalks with with the point of the parasol.
The crab objected to this. A claw knocked Siddie over into the sand.
Siddie's HP: 35/40

Crab's HP: 30/40

The claw was coming at her again. Siddie screamed and kicked determinedly at the appendage, adding a poke of her parasol at the softer-looking joint in the pincer. "You - you big - unicorn-jacking glitter crab," she yelled at it.

One minut she was strolling away with Siddie, the next they where pipsqueaks, what was a tree was now a pillar to the heavens, their castle? Totally bitching fortress they they had to defend. Before she could get her proper bearings it was starting. Shehk had taken the lead followed behind by Siddie.
"LEAVE MY GHOULFRIEND AND PUPPY ALONE DAMMIT!"
Her feet started stomping through the sand building moment leaping past Siddie, landing with Shehk atop the crab, her steel toed boots making a nice solid crack! as she smashed down against the shell. The crab didn't like this of course and quickly slapped her back off the crab sending her rolling through the sand and into a crouch.

She didn't waste her time though, Siddie had been knocked down and the crab closest to her was clearly looking up her skirt! The monster of a beast was moving closer claw ready to strike as Sammy started to intervene.
"HEY! ONLY I'M ALLOWED UP THEIR YOU JACK-DAMN-SEA-SNACK!" The claw that was aimed for Siddie instead found Sammy's left arm. Her FEAR wasn't reacting and only a flicker of purple fire covered her arm to protect the bone from too much damage.
With a claw distracted and latched to her arm she took a chance to teach the invading sea creature a lesson about peeking up a ghouls skirt.
You get your eye punched out!
Her right hand snapped out popping the crab in an eye stalk, the large orb shooting into the shell to hide as the crab stumbled back letting her go. Others where still scuttling forward, most of them it seemed where more intent on attacking them now then the castle... for the time being at least.
"Siddie you okay!?"

Israfel was more of less sad that his husk ponies did not rise to meet their attackers. Maybe they were passive ponies? Hard to tell, but either way- "We have crabs now, that is not very good..." Ear wings flopped down. But then Sammy said something. Something that made Israfel not very keen on crabs.
"NO NO NO THEY ARE PANTY CRABS NO!"
Running over he swat at them. "No bad crabs! No panties for you!" It didn't do much.

Hissing and spitting and cawing, the siren kept trying to swat at the crabs yelling about how they could not have the panties. Israfel had to deal with panty crabs at home, he didn't want to deal with then here too! Plus he was sure the panties were too small for their heads anyway.

Ow ow the panty crabs were persistent, but so was Israfel- he'd beat them until they understood that they had no panties for them.
