"Ouuuu, you're so smart to have thought that far ahead, Jack." Tomoko praised. She'd expected the sun to be a bit more..Halloweenesque to an extent. Less bright. Less mean to her poor pale skin. She seemed happy enough to pick out an umbrella - one she made green by her own power just at Jack's suggestion. Because it wasn't green to start with, but the spot seemed nice to her.

"Yeah, there are a lot of people here. The Horsemen must be a really big deal and everybody wants to see what happens, I guess." she wagered as her guess as to why everybody was there. That and supporting their children, it sounded like. If she'd participated, would her parents have come to see? Hahaue would have, but Chichiue? He would have reminded her he was disappointed in her.

Always disapproval. She wondered sometimes if he knew about her friendship with Remi. Ouuu, that was nervewrecking, actually.

Still, with the green umbrella secured, Tomoko took a minute to actually sit down and start digging some 'seats' into the sand. "I bet if we had some water, we could make these really cool. Then we'd really have the best seats around!" she said, looking up at Jack with a grin.

So....this was the human world?

After being jostled by the crowd and shoved in almost any direction besides the one she wanted to go in, Poke had managed to squeeze herself through the giant portal and found herself standing in the spectator stand, right smack in the middle of a beach. For a few moments she had to stand there and shield her eyes, letting them adjust to the much brighter area she was now in.

The dragoness then took a gander at her surroundings once her eyes had adjusted, noting the rich blue color of the sea compared to the rather foreboding dark blue she was used to.

But enough of gandering at the water. It was hard not to notice the huge giant screens that displayed the various teams getting ready to their sandcastle building. It boggled her mind as to why they would be building sand castles for their challenge, but hey, why the hell not? Maybe they'll have to fight something later on? (that would be fun). For now, nothing interesting was happening, so she decided to go walk abouts and see what else she could find.

It didn't take long for her to spy a some other spectators standing about, a few of them she vaguely recalled meeting before, while others she hadn't.

"Hello there!" She called out by way of greeting, moving towards them at a leisurely pace.

"Candlejack!" sweared Shenny quietly. She was a reaper, and a human world wasn't really hard for her, but that sun was seriously hot. And her pale white skin simply didn't look as beautiful, as it should in that sunlight.

Shenny looked around lazily, lighting a long and thin cighoulette. She noticed a young water dragoness walking towards a group of students, and a pretty and all excited young lady with the nice wings (who is she, Shenny wondered for a minute) probably cheering up her boilfriend.

...perhaps, getting an eye scream would be a neat idea.

Freya turned to look at King, and snickered as she smushed one of her pompoms in his face. "This is justs for funs, friend! Is nice to sees yeh here, come, sits and watch the show! My boilfriend, he is in the trials! He will WIN THEM ALL! ALL THE TRIALS! AAAAAAAAAAAAAALL THEEEEEE TRIALS."

Freya was either over-excited, or over-compensating. She went back to cheerleading for Herryk.

"Dat's how i'tis," Cam agreed with a little nod. "Dat's how i'tis. Y'all better hang back after a bit, though, don't wanna get caught by whatever i'tis they'll be getting' soon." She gestured with her head towards the rising sandcastles being made opposite of them. "Or sunburns for ya ghoulfriend." Said ghoulfriend (so she supposed; they acted like they were dating at least) looked a bit on the pale side at least.

Hearing the vamp gets his head out of the sand, Cameron cast him a glance down, lips pulled to the side in an amused grin at his pun. "Oh, sha, I'm already hot - no need ta be makin' the sand jealous by remindin' dem." Cam had to admit, those eyes of his were . . . interesting. Hypnotic almost. "How's about we take a long walk on da beach, see where that takes us."

She could tell that the longer this guy stayed, the more likely something would erupt. And while Cam was all one for fights, quite frankly she just wasn't in the mood to watch two boils fighting over a ghoul - a ghoul that wasn't her, specifically.

She passed Shun and Mitsu a look. "Mind watching' the kid for me? He's already takin' a liking to ya ghoul."

As if they needed verification of this, the little alligator began crooning again. He spotted another person coming and saying hi, which made his head perk up a bit to view something other than her feet. "Ohai der," he greeted, all teeth and grins from his position, still wriggling into Mitsu's lap. "You smell like me, but you're not me, and I don't think you're like me, but I think I see scales. Are you a . . . a dinosaur?" ovo

Hidden in the audience, Lailah peeked out from beneath her robe to contentedly at the Sandcastle competition.

Attracted by the excitement bustling crowd, Lailah had curious to see what this "trial" was about. It had captured the attention of many in Halloween Town. She had stepped out of the portal, to witness a world she had never seen the likes of before. While intrigued by the event, she had quickly become distracted enough. One of the first events Lailah had ever attended outside of Halloween Town, Lailah was amazed to discover the oddities of the Human World.

To those who might have noticed, a tiny flash of pink that appeared as quickly as it disappeared in the crowd.

She looked up as a shadow added to the one the umbrella cast and into the visor of one very grumpy yet grinning Moira reaper, quickly deleting the text that she was about to send. Thanatos looked like he was out of his element or...was he in it? He didn't look bad in what her sisters called apprioate "Beach" wear before flushing, there she went again, staring at the boil.

"I don't think she has spent enough time with me." Amphi returned before reaching out to pet Biskoto. "Hello beautiful, I can tell your enjoying the heat already, have you dug yourself into the sand yet? Its pretty warm too." She elborated by digging her barefeet into the grainy texture before turning to look at him as he sat next to her. Her legs came protectivatly up in case...in case he noticed something about her outfit or something. He had a odd way of seeing things. Especially things that made her face heat up and had her losing her train of thought.

"Had I known it was at a beach I would've attempted to sign up. Soon if they allow it, I want to go touch the familiars of the human sea waters." She smiled before looking away, "And I think you might want to cool off in the ocean too seeing as you..." She poked the pile of cold drinks he set down, "I didn't realize you were so thirsty Thana?" She spoke up as she added her version of his name, turning big blue eyes on him. "You don't like the heat?"
