Saved! Ordinarily, something like this little slip-up and subsequent catch would have been cause for a giggle, but she didn't have any clothes on. And it was Elik who caught her. Those two things in conjunction made it different.
Adi clearly wasn't sure what exactly to do for a moment - should she just act like it was normal? - but decided to run with it. Because hey, she was naked and the guy she liked was holding her. If she passed this up, Ishkha would never let her live it down.
So she kissed him, quick and feather-light.

....This was not exactly what Elik had expected.
Really, really not what Elik had expected.
And somehow, somewhere, Whisteria was laughing her a** off, he was certain of it.
Elik all but froze for a moment, and one could almost hear his brain grinding to an halt, through thankfully he did not drop Adi. Certainly they hadn't just...
Uh.
Slowly, shyly, he leaned over to kiss her back - and hoped he hadn't misinterpreted and would not be slapped right into next year.

If she hadn't been otherwise occupied, Adi would have squealed and jumped up and down in delight. Elik was kissing her! She returned this kiss with a curious mix of shyness and enthusiasm...she was so excited and so happy, but she'd also never done this before. She tried to remember everything everyone had told her - don't drool, watch your fangs, stuff like that - but it still might well be apparent that this was New for her.

It might come as a surprise to Adi, but Elik seemed just as tentative and clueless - if not more so - that she was, and just as inexperimented. Truth was, he had never had anything remotely close to a girlfriend, with most of the eligible night elven ladies preferring to settle with men a little less.. wild. It had not helped that he had never guarded the emerald dream, as as such no one had any idea if he could even wake up from such a sleep.
But Adi really did not care much for either of that.
"So." Once that they parted again, he had... actually no damn idea what to do or say now. It did not help that he had just been making out with a naked woman. On the beach, but thankfully far enough from the nearby settlement for anyone to catch them.
Still, awkward was the word of the day.

Once the kiss had ended, Adi flushed and smiled shyly at him, tail waving slowly back and forth. "Um. So." She stayed pressed close - he hadn't objected so far, so that was good, right? "I like you. A lot."
Obviously. Hopefully he liked her, too? It seemed like maybe so...

Well, yes. He had become rather aware of the idea in the last few seconds. Even the stupidest man in the world would have finally guessed that once.
Through given how oblivious Elik had been to, well.. everything else... Clarification made sense.
He also did not have the faintest idea what to do right now. "I..." Or what to say, really.
"Well."

"Me too."

To be perfectly honest, this was all going a little more awkwardly than Adi had imagined. There had been a lot more being swept off her feet in her daydreams. It had never occurred to her that Elik wouldn't have any better an idea what he was doing than she did. He was a night elf, after all! He was, you know, older.
But at least he did like her! That was reassuring, and she smiled happily despite their awkward little stalemate of 'what do we do now?'. Well, she knew what, but they seemed to have stalled. Hmm. Should she just ask, or something?
Yeah, that was probably best, since subtlety was clearly not her strong suit, and catching on to it was not Elik's. "So. Do we do it now, or what?"

Unfortunately, Adi had not really screened the perfect candidate for prince charming over there. Elik was, well, a druid.
And there would probably be enough night elves in Darnassus willing to tell her how young he was, when put into perspective.

Wait. Had she just asked... ?
Oh boy.
"...Here ?" Was the first thing that came out.
But that was entirely unbecoming ! "...And isn't that a little early ?"
Yeah. Elik wanted an hole to hide in.

Okay, maybe not. "Well, you know, whenever," Adi amended, shrugging it off, although she did flush a little. Now she felt a bit silly. "I guess...we can swim now?"

Well then. Awkwardness aside, that had actually gone pretty well overall, Adi decided. Elik did like her, and that was the most important thing! So she wagged her tail, and beamed up at him with her usual excited smile when he offered to show her more things after they swam. "I'd like that!"
"Now come on, I wanna swim~" Drawing away, she found his hand to pull him further out into the water.

"H-Hey ! Wait up !" He laughed, and was hot in Adrienne's trail, so to speak. Odd that his nervousness seemed to vanish with her smile, how hearing her laugh made him want to laugh in turn.
A few seconds before he had been nervous, but that seemed so unimportant now.

"You'll have to catch me first!" Clearly, the perfect way to dispel awkwardness was by playing, and so she let go of Elik's hand and ran - albeit not particularly quickly, since running in water and sand was a bit hard (and also not especially comfortable, given lack of clothing). When she was deep enough, she dove in.

"Ha ! That was supposed to be a challenge ?!" It was tempting to shift and cheat, yes, but it was more fun to give chase in humanoid form, even if he was far from used to swim in it.
Elik dove when she did, attempting to gain ground, but not getting much headway done for the time being.

What little of a lead Adi had, it didn't last long. Saltwater stung when you opened your eyes in it! And when you sucked it up your nose and down your throat while you were flailing around, that stung too. She surfaced in short order, rubbing her eyes and coughing. Yowch!
