"Nice, guys." Bix pulled his scarf down as fresh air finally blew past them. When the figure dissipated the bugs also seemed to disappear for the most part. There were dead ones scattered around, the locusts, but for the most part it looked like a normal run down street again. "I do not care that you exploded that thing."

"I'm definitely ready for a shower." He put one of the locusts into a specimen bag to hand over to the Lifers as soon as he got back.

Looking at Bix and the mention of showers- "....The men's bathroom is still under construction isn't it? Hell, I might just go running into the ocean. I'd rather smell of brine than rot." He was also going to throw his coat and scarf into a very very heavy wash cycle.

Still, it was nice to be able to breathe again. "Whatever that thing was, it sure as all hell wasn't what happy to see us. But, let's move back to the portal and head out. With the noise we made people might start to get curious." He didn't like the idea of getting accosted to play a game of twenty questions.

"After that mission, I'll personally stand guard over the girl's showers and let you guys have at 'em after we fill out reports." Cass said flatly, unwilling to desummon Nicodemus as she moved to head back towards the portal at a half jog.

"So let's get back and fill out those reports while that's still clear in our heads." she said, half-taking over as it had been a mission she'd called them both out on. Nicodemus was reminding her that he was tired while they were moving and she was promising him a good break.

Report, shower, food, and then maybe a jog. Or a movie. Whichever.
