Talk about buzz kill.
Rikki groaned loudly as the kiss ended too soon and threw his head back to stare at the cave ceiling. One... two.... three.... When he was able to look around without kicking some a**, he only rotated his head without bringing it back up.
Double. Whammy.
"Jack. What the hell are you doing here?"

Yin was traumatized. TRAUMATIZED. What had he just walked in on? Then he realized something very, very important.
Rikki and Danny had broken up. They were not together...so what were they doing? Was it just a feud?
Looking completely away from the pair he glowered at a stalagmite. "What are you doing to Miss Danny," he said angrily. "Miss Danny are you alright?"

Danny's head tilted, and she gave Rikki a confused look. "I'm not doing anything to me," she said, eyebrows furrowed as she tried to figure out the verbal conundrum Yin had just handed her.
After a moment, she said, "Yeah I'm okay. Why, what's up? Is there something going on outside?" Working herself into a panic, her eyes went wide. "Hunters?" she said flatly, letting go of Rikki to take a more defensive stance. No way in hell would she let any fake reapers turn her Rikki into a jackdamn weapon.
WERE THERE HUNTERS IN THAT STALAGMITE YIN WAS GLARING AT?!

Nyyrikki pinched the bridge of his nose and tried his hardest not to throw Yin in the lava bath. Crispy cricket sounded fabulous right about now. But Danny was here and he was on thin ice (excuse the term), so he needed to behave. "I'm spending time with my ghouldfriend, Antennae. Not a crime."
He took Danny's hand in his trying to pull her attention away from the bug and all the questions. "Why don't we go somewhere else? We can go to my room and play hexbox."

If it meant that she was letting go of Rikki she could think there were hunters all over the place for all Yin cared. There was something not right with all of this. Rikki had done something that was seemingly inexcusable but...well...if he was her chosen...that meant they were together. Forever. His eyes darted back to them, and he was oddly happy to see that Rikki looked a bit aggravated.
Still, this was Miss Danny he was with. "Miss Danny, do you need me to get rid of Rikki for you? Is he bothering you?" If so he would be glad to do it, but if they were going to play hexbox....well at least they would not be doing...whatever...he had walked in on. That had to be an improvement.

It's funny because Yin thinks they would just be playing hexbox.
Danny's face lit up when Rikki said ghoulfriend. He could've said "hey Danny let's go for a swim in water!" and she would've followed. "Sure if you wanna. Hexbox sounds fun!" she said, mostly directed at him, not really to Yin as well.
Danny smiled when Rikki grabbed her hand, blissfully unaware of the static developing in front of her. She rubbed her cheek lightly on his arm and said, "No of course not Yin!" she purred, looking up at her boilfriend lovingly. "He's not bothering me. We're just uh. We're back together," she said somewhat awkwardly, turning back to Yin and squeezing Rikki's hand at the same time.
She tilted her head a little and said, "Yin you okay? You look kinda ... grumpy." She didn't like it when Yin was upset! That was no fun. Rikki was feeling a little rigid too. Hum.

Rikki scowled at Yin and rolled his shoulders. This kid was awfully close to getting a fight. However, Rikki just tugged her hand again. "Nope. Not bothering her. So we're going to go. Far away. And do things.... without you."
"Unless... you want to be there?" Rikki's look was so devilish and so full of his intentions not to play hexbox it would have taken a complete innocent to miss it. He hadn't missed how the boil was extremely uncomfortable with him and Danny being close. Hopefully this would be a perfect incentive for him to run as fast as his legs would carry him in the other direction.

Okay, so yes. Yes they were back together. Yin would still be watching the reaper boil, not really trusting him. If he made Miss Danny happy, okay then. If he made her upset...well...Yin had a feeling he would be more than willing to backhand the boil again. Or perhaps do something worse. "I am fine Miss Danny, and happy for you." Not happy for Rikki though, he was getting more than he deserved.
Well, if Rikki was looking for a complete innocent, he had found one. "You are inviting me to play hexbox with you?" He questioned, slightly surprised. Yes, he noted the look on Rikki's face. No, he had no idea what that look actually meant. "I do not particularly wish to play video games," truth be told his record with those included playing (and all but failing) a dating sim with Alexander and then a glorious bout of button massing with Ulmuka. "But if you would like me to join you I will?" he said, directing his question to Miss Danny.

A frown twitched at the corners of her lips when Rikki very clearly implied that they were going far away and Yin wasn't coming. She wanted her friend to come too- Oh! Rikki was offering for Yin to come with them. Gosh her boilfriend was so nice, always thinking of her friends.
Yin looked a bit surprised at the offer, but he said he didn't want to. Danny was okay with that- after all it looked like Yin was heading into the hot springs. He was probably busy!
... Aaaaand truth be told she wanted some "alone time" with Rikki. Playing hexbox. Of course. Nothing else. "Nahh its okay Yin," she said, smiling, "We'll see you later!" She tugged Rikki's hand and smiled at him. "I'm gonna kick your butt at Maul of Duty," she whispered, kissed his cheek, and then let go of his hand to run out of the springs.

Rikki grinned at Danny as she whispered to him. "You wish, demon. I'm going to whoop you." He went to follow her out, but something nagged him. He paused and turned to look at Yin and rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. This... how do.
"Uh... look. Thank you for taking care of her and being there for her."

"Goodbye Miss Danny," he called after her, though his eyes stayed on Rikki as he started to follow her out at a slower pace and then turned. Eyes watching. Judging?
But what he said was not something that Yin had expected, and did cause him to give the reaper a second look. "I will be there for her still," he pointed out. "She desires that you take care of her, and I hope that she is happy. But," he cautioned, well warned really, "I still do not approve of what you did to her. And if you do something like that again I will purposefully seek you out." Not that he would ever tell Miss Danny that. But she had...she had been so upset. She had not even wanted to move when he had seen her...so...listless.
Princess Eva would see to it as well.

Rikki's first reaction was to screw up his face in anger. He glanced over the boil, however, examining him and his words, and changed his mind about his anger. Instead his face fell until it was a shadow the sadness he'd carried with him until he'd formed a plan to get Danny back. "I really hope you do. Don't let me hurt her." It would be good to have someone else to prevent him from the same mistakes.
He didn't wait for a reply, just turned to the exit and followed out, calling for Danny to wait up.
